One of my favorite hibachi places around! It’s become a birthday tradition!

Exactly as the star rating says. Exactly what you think when you think five or four stars. The food is fresh and great. Sit at the bar, a table or hibachi. Darts in the bar, something for whatever your in for. The bar has 8-10 stools, A bench along the back wall, with around 6-8, 2 seat tables. A single dart board with enough space to play comfortably, and have a full bar and tables in here. 2, 32” TVs behind the bar, not the place for large sports parties. Hibachi tables is a large area with music, there must be 8 full size hibachi tables seating 8-10. A whole separate area to sit regular restaurant dining no booths but there is a sushi bar in the dining area. Each area is separate. Here and Blue Fin, are the best freshest food. Blue fin is much “prettier” inside but that’s the atmosphere, Tokyo is much more late 70’s college bar feel, and look.

Last Sunday Evening. I stopped by the bar and had food and drinks. The bartender working on Sunday doesn't know how to make the drink, and the service is also lousy. I asked him to make the drink, and he had to use the phone Google it. He's not a real bartender. After the drink came out and it doesn't taste as Volka as I expected. He needs to learn how to make drinks and provide better service

Food was very bland. Took our friend from out of the country for her first hibachi experience. It came up very short. The chef did not appear happy or to like his job. No funny jokes, tossing vegetables, squirting water, interacting with us. The typical hibachi experience you pay for. We will be taking her out again elsewhere, will not return. Immediately I'll from good once arriving home.

Great showmanship, skill, and food. Everything done on a grill. Fresh food, vegetables, steak, shrimp rice. Cooked as you watch.

I don’t understand how this has such a high rating.
First of all, pretty weak hibachi food experience, especially for the price. No catching zucchini, no sake water guns (or anything like it) for the table, no egg shells in the hat - just a pretty light performance. In fact, I don’t think I’d even call it a performance, I’ve seen more exciting cooking on Disney channel.
The food was average at best, but for $50ish a pop, it didn’t meet the mark. And no yum yum sauce!! How can you even get licensed to do hibachi without yum yum sauce!?
It was also just not even close to clean. The bathroom was literally flooded with what I hope was water and the amount of dust and grime on the blinds was noticeable. They clearly don’t sweep up the carpet at the end of the night (as evidence of the amount of food on the floor). I’m really not that picky - but this was bordering health concerns dirty.
It was pretty lackluster service wise too - we didn’t get offered or served water, it took an hour for them to bring out drinks and take our orders, and we didn’t get our check until 45 minutes after they had cleared the table. None of the draft beers were available which was also disappointing.
I’ve done an embarrassing amount of hibachi in my life and this ranks among the worst. Average food, bad service, unwelcoming no-fun atmosphere, dirty, and expensive. There are better options a few towns over.

Very nice place. Food is terrific 😋
The food was mediocre Every Other Hibachi Experience has left me wanting to go back, but not this one IDK how this place is so highly rated. Decided to come here one fine evening as it was in the neighborhood. The place was dead, could barely spot it. The Chefs seem tired of their jobs and the waiters focus on upping the bill more than service. Won't be coming back here, I've never hated spending $140+ on a dinner for 2 more.
Just left on Easter 2025. Foods same as other places. Portions were mostly rice and bean sprouts. No one else was at our table. Our hibachi chef had zero personality. I mean zero. Like none. Prices were too high for over cooked shrimp chicken and rice. $139.00. go to Broadway Salem NH instead. This places sux

Worst experience, Not so clean , bugs everywhere, to make even worse this happened :
we were the first ones In the table we waited 20 min after we ordered and another group joined the table , the chef comes after another 15 mins starts cooking food for the ones that came last , left us with empty plates , made my kids so uncomfortable with empty plates and people who came late getting fresh cooked food next to them , every dish he makes I was hoping it is for us, we almost felt he is a hardcore racist , I feel so bad that I kept quiet did not want to make a commotion , never going back there again , gonna tell every one not to. Why is there no < 0 rating ?
