I'm a bit of a connessiour when it comes to Spanish/Mexican food. This place has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten.
Always a great meal. Staff are great.
Great service. the fried avocados are fantastic and margaritas are killer!!!
Love this place, a staple for when we have relatives over for good Mexican food.
I don’t know why this place has high reviews because the chicken mole was salty to a point that I need to chug a whole glass of water after eating
Acitron is a top notch Mexican restaurant in a pretty space and excellent service. The seating is comfortable and tables are not too close, so a pleasant vibe for a busy place. We were five at dinner on a Sunday night. Cocktails were very pretty, and on the table were salsa and chips. We added guacamole, medium spice and stuffed plantains, all delicious.
Entrees show how much effort goes into real Mexican cooking, with complicated saucing and slow cooked meats. Each plate comes with a choice of sides, the usual rice and beans but also Mexican street corn, very nice. Service was friendly and brisk.
Children would love this place. The menu would work for vegetarians and vegans, too. On an earlier visit I had a salad and the kitchen accommodated the changes I asked for.
On street parking was easy, and the restaurant is handicap accessible.
Dined on the outdoor patio recently. It is much quieter out of there than inside the restaurant. Fun atmosphere with a Mexican vibe. The food is still delicious.

Enjoyed good mexican food. The room was nearly full on a rainy Thursday night.

We came to Acitron Cocina Mexicana for drinks & appetizers before a show at the Regent Theater. It was busy, but service was great! We were in & out pretty quickly. They have a great cocktail menu - the sunset margarita was yummy. Highly recommend the pan de elote & aguacate frito (the avocados were huge)! Would definitely return if I'm in the area again!
