“I needed appetizers for a family get together, with the recommendation of the owner, I got a few dips, pita bread and cheese. My guests loved the mouhamra dip, the baba ganoush, the humus, , the beet dip and especially the yogurt . At the restaurant, we enjoyed the cheese bread baked that morning. If you like your baklava with pistachio, that’s the place to buy it. Loved everything and the service was superior.”
“This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.”
“Having Thrive on my block has been a godsend. Affordable, delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies, simple and nutrious without feeling too overly healthy (just egg and bacon ?) and the staff is always delightful.”
“Small place but great flavor of food. The staff is always working hard and the meals how you like them. I know many families that eat here and I go for lunch often.”
“Boonnoon is easily the best Thai food I’ve had in the Boston area, the people are so sweet, the food is delicious every time, and it’s impossible not to order appetizers because they’re all so delicious!”
“I'm vegan, so going out is always a bit of a challenge. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the chef prepared me a delicious plant-based meal that blew me away.”
“Had an event in the area, so this was the perfect spot to grab a bite. I had the Tom yum soup and needed a doggy bag to finish the rest later! Excellent service, highly recommendVegetarian options: They easily substituted meat for tofu”
“Yummy yummy pasta night! My bf surprised me by bringing me to this nice and cozy Italian restaurant in Arlington heights on Saturday night. It wasn't too busy so we were lucky to get a table. They only have a few tables so making a reservation would be a good idea. Soon after we were seated people started showing up and the tables were starting to fill up. We were served complimentary bread and olive oil which was very good while we decided on our dish. They had a few specials that were not on the menu and sounded delicious but we decided to try their shrimp pasta and their chicken cacciatore. We also ordered the house Nina salad which had delicious pears and a light and tangy vinaigrette dressing. The waiter was very nice and I also think he was the cook since you could see into the kitchen and there were only two people behind the counter. Our pasta dishes came out nice and hot and we quickly devoured them. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were nice and juicy and fully peeled. The shrimp pasta had a nice lemony and tangy flavor and there was plenty of sauce. The chicken cacciatore was also very good. The chicken was nice and tender and the pasta was super flavorful. They were even kind enough to bring us more bread so we could finish our sauces! We will definitely be back!”
“Really awesome gluten free and vegan options! It can swing from almost empty to every single seat full depending on the time of day. Thankfully takeout is always an option.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.”
“Beautiful fresh awesome quality and presentation!!! The rice pilaf is fluffy and seasoned- the golden French fries have a touch of salt- mouth watering- everything is beyond fresh. I drive from Newton and was so deeply satisfied! Cauliflower sandwich is great too! I’m in love with the beef and lamb shawarma plate! Everything is made with love and made to order!!! You won’t regret, I wish I tried it sooner- the roasted eggplant salad appetizer is wicked good.”
“This place is truly an Arlington gem. The chicken parm sub is a steal. it’s much fuller than it needs to be, but that’s because the people here are so loving and generous towards their customers. But my favorite is their spinach and cheese calzone. I ate it in one sitting - need I say more? This place is a hole in the wall, comforting, good neighborhood joint. It does the people of Arlington proud.”
“Love this place. Yummy drinks. Nice place to go to enjoy a refreshing drink before or after going to a music lesson. Strawberry and mango drinks are my favorite here. Good for a warm day. Once a yellow and black insect got inside the straw and bit the tip of my tongue. Insect tasted disgusting. Overall the drinks taste good.”
“Excellent food and coffee. Love their cookies, panninis and overnight oats especially. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Perfect for a rainy day writing session at the cafe or a relaxing lunch out in their little park dining area. One of my favorite places in the Boston area.”
“Clean, well organized corner grocery store and deli. Friendly and well staffed. The store is small, but not tiny. With that in mind they can't stock everything, however, all the basics are there and fresh with a few unique items. I appreciated being asked if I needed help a few times on my 10 minute visit. Keep up the friendly customer service!”
“Finally made it to this local hotspot as it is always packed. We didn’t plan ahead enough for a reservation but walked in at 6pm and sat quickly at their small bar which was a nice experience. I had an Elderberry Margarita and the Suiza Chicken Enchiladas.”
