I stopped by the Heights Pub while passing through town. I really enjoyed this welcoming, small, cozy neighborhood tavern. The menu is enormous, the service is excellent, the beer was cold, and the food was very good. I had the baked haddock sandwich - it was super fresh and delicious with a ton of haddock. Great value. Solid pub food, and a favorite with my kids. My kids enjoyed the avacado burger and the mac n' cheese; we liked the cajun burger and the bourbon burger. The clam chowder was average. A good local place to go if you're looking for pub-type food.
