“really good sushi if you’re looking for a quick bite! service is super fast and portions are great!
i would order sushi instead of the poke bowls as they’re more tasty/flavorful. the yogurt drinks were a little too sweet but that’s personal preference
would definitely be ordering here again if i’m looking to eat some sushi in the local area :)“

“We enjoyed our Thai Pancakes, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice. The staff was so sweet with my son too. He's 2 years old and still learning to eat outside quietly. He approves of the Thai Pancakes...he tried to stuff a whole one in his mouth. Going back to try their fried rice...my Dad made Thai Fried Rice for us growing up. So, I am excited to try theirs.
Also, I am gluten free and dairy free. So, all the dishes we've tried meet those requirements.“

“Fusion Taste is a great spot to enjoy solid Chinese food, a huge sushi bar, or grab a drink at the full bar. There’s table service and the bar can provide beer, wine, and a variety of Asian cocktails or traditional cocktails. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend a visit or even takeout!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes can be prepared meatless
Parking: There’s a small lot right out front. Inexpensive paid parking but free at night and on Sunday.
Kid-friendliness: Hugh chairs available. Plenty of options for a young one.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entry. Door is not electronic but swings open with a flat entrance to get in.“

“I just moved to town and have eaten at maybe 5 or 6 places, and this place is far and away my favorite. Best pad thai I've ever had, drinks are really good and cheap, and the atmosphere, at least on a Tues night, is really nice and quiet. Also, I am not sure why it's listed as 30-50, I got a mixed drink, a sushi roll, and pad Thai for <30, and they brought out wonton for free.Really happy with my meal! I look forward to sharing this place with friends.Update: Still my favorite spot.
Vegetarian options: Great vegi options.“

“I had a great date night, it was our first time there and it was excellent. I was happy with everything from the food to the service from our server José. He was on point with everything, would love to have him next time again. But even the music was great, but obviously the food was the best of it all. Everyone should definitely check it out.“

“Authentic Thai and Tremptatious!
I loved the ground pork stir-fry basil here. Unlike other spots that use big chunks of pork, they use perfectly ground pork, which I prefer. The flavors are spot-on, and the ingredients are top-notch. If you want real Thai taste in Boston, this is the place!“

“The food was amazing, subtle flavors with every bite. The restaurant itself is cute, with modern vibes. Walk through Shore Leave to find it. Chef Vincent Cheng and his assistant prepared every “bite” (14 in total) in front of us. At the end of the set menu, we could order more bites (at extra cost) if still hungry. Expensive but sublime.“

“The sushi was delicious, but the price is not for the faint of heart! A nice treat, and the best quality fish I've had outside of Japan. Chef Mike worked diligently to deliver a great experience. I also liked the lack of pretentiousness in his shop. I imagine that if someone were to ask for a fork, he'd hardly bat an eye. The focus here is really on the food, and he checks that box.“

“We actually showed up in the area to eat somewhere else for lunch, but it was closed so stumbled into here blind. Boy were we lucky!
It has a very unassuming entrance, so unassuming I walked past it at first, but it belies a very pleasant, very atmospheric little restaurant in the back. I ordered the two roll lunch special with Spicy Roll and an Autumn roll (the last being a recommendation from the server). It came with some miso soup of course, and I also ordered some tagedashi tofu as an app.
I’d go meal by meal, but I’d repeat myself. It was all delicious in very different ways. The tagedashi was so savory and delicious. The spicy roll was a little combustible punch of flavor while the autumn roll was subtle and sweet. All of it just really really delicious. Even the miso soup was unusually good.
The only thing I’d complain about was that the green tea was not particularly to my liking. But that’s nothing compared to how across the board great everything else was. Service was lovely and unobtrusive. Just an all around great experience. Can’t recommend more highly.“

“This restaurant experience was refined, very pleasant, and tasty the whole way through. We were sat immediately even without a reservation and treated to complementary edamame mousse which was unique and light. We then ordered a few delicious sushi rolls with the highlight being the Waygu Beef - which even makes my mouth water now thinking about it. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was incredibly tentative and kind. Perfect for a date night!“

“Excellent sushi and pretty good wine. Would go again. Would I do a 30+ min detour just to dine here? Probably not, hence 4 of 5 stars. So if you are in the area: good choice.“

“Food was solid high quality sushi with creative preparation and freshness. Menu can be overwhelming so I’d advise having a look before you go there. Our server was lively and informative. Prices are generally high but acceptable for the occasional visit or event. The decor was modern and comfortable.
Parking: We lucked out finding parking a few blocks away but it would have taken a while had we not happen upon the space. Make sure you leave enough time to park.
Kid-friendliness: Perfectly acceptable for kids as it’s not a quiet environment, but you probably wouldn’t want to as it is upscale and everyone is seated.“

“Service was sufficient, polite & speedy. Atmosphere was intimate and a lil crowded. That said, the sushi was AMAZING!!!
I’ve eaten a lot of maki rolls here in Boston and thus far this has been that only the highest quality sushi, but the most aggressively priced!!
The chefs were also accommodating for substitutions, as well as some special requests (I have a shellfish allergy, so there are considerations that go with it) and again given how much I asked them I was still astonished at how quick that sushi rolls came out and just the overall quality of everything that were served to me.
Hands-down this is some of the best sushi in Boston! Can’t wait to come back with friends!!!!“

“Great food and good service. The staff seemed very friendly however even though the place was empty, I had to look for help. No biggie for me; just reflecting in this review. The place was clean and decorated nicely. There was parking which helped. I would definitely return if I were in the area.“

“TL;DR: TAKEOUT REVIEW. Everything was so good! Ikura was the starOrdered takeout/delivery on our last night in Boston for our late night snack. We had gone earlier in the day, but their chef's were not doing ala carte orders yet (they had just opened). But the store has a good selection of grab-and-go items from sushi, to drinks, to other merch like soy sauce and snacks.FOOD:~Chef's Sampler (5/5) and Signature Set (5/5): each of these sets came with 5 pieces of nigiri, and they were all so good. Each of them were topped with a unique seasoning/sauce, and they accompanied each of the fish so well!Salmon don (5/5): came with a great assortment of salmon, all of it very fresh (salmon belly was my fave). But the star of this dish to me was the ikura and the cucumbers. SO DELICIOUSGreat quality sushi, great portions, delicious flavors, and affordable prices! Definitely a must visit!“

“Some of the highest quality fish I've had in the Boston area outside of Uni and Oya. The only thing they need to fix is the pace (one person shouldn't get multiple rolls at once and the nori should always arrive crisp) and order (leanest to fattiest)“

“My better half and I visited this spot, and I can confidently say it’s the best sushi I’ve had in the Boston-Cambridge area. My only regret is not ordering the Sakana sushi boat—but there’s always next time!

“Brookline is so lucky to have this local gem in the community!! Super Fusion never misses - I get takeout from here frequently and it's always such a nice experience. The sushi is fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and the people who own this store are such kind folks. The super fusion maki combo and crispy crab wontons are my favorite things to order but I've enjoyed everything I've tried here! I'm always happy to give this place my business - they're really nice people who produce consistently high quality food.“

“Mind-Blowing Culinary Experience at UNI Dining at UNI is nothing short of extraordinary. Chef Take's talent is truly remarkable, turning every dish into a masterpiece. The sashimi is unbelievably fresh, each slice practically melts in your mouth, showcasing the incredible quality and craftsmanship that UNI is known for. One of the standout dishes was the Foie Gras sushi with pop rocks and strawberry. The combination of flavors and textures was nothing short of genius—a perfect balance of richness, sweetness, and a playful pop that left me in awe. It’s a daring creation that speaks to Chef Take’s innovative spirit. My personal favorite, though, has to be the Toro topped with caviar. The buttery, luxurious texture of the Toro paired with the briny burst of caviar is an experience I won't soon forget. It's the kind of sushi that dreams are made of. The service at UNI is also top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They are well-versed in the menu and make excellent recommendations, ensuring that your dining experience is seamless and memorable. UNI is, without a doubt, a dining destination that should be on every food lover’s bucket list. Chef Take’s talent shines through in every dish, making it an unforgettable experience.“

“A reliably fresh poke spot in Porter Square.
For the past few months, Ono Pokebar has been one of my go-to delivery spots for poke bowls, and that’s largely because of one key factor: consistency. The number one thing I look for in a poke bar is reliable portion sizes. When these places first open, they usually get great reviews for their generous servings, but give it a few months, and the portions start shrinking until they’re no different from any other run-of-the-mill poke spot. Sure, creative toppings and unique sauces can add some flair, but if I can’t count on consistent portions from visit to visit, I’m less likely to return.
That’s what sets Ono Pokebar apart. Most of the time, the bowls are served up by members of the owner’s family, so the portions are reliably the same every time. While they might not be the biggest bowls out there, they’re just the right size to leave me satisfied without worrying if I’ll still be hungry afterward.
When it comes to their poke, Ono Pokebar delivers exactly what you’d expect from a solid spot—fresh fish, flavorful sauces, and all the crunchy toppings that make a bowl satisfying. While they don’t have a ton of unique toppings, it’s the kind of reliable place I’d dash to the moment a poke craving hits.

“This is my favorite sushi place, bar none. The food is a great value given the quantity and quality, and the customer service couldn't be better. I recommend it to all my coworkers, and always look forward to my lunches from there.“

“My 8 and 10 year old and I LOVED eating in the restaurant and our whole family loves it as take out and delivery. In particular, my kids loved the ramen saying it's the best they've tasted. We all loved the sushi (SO fresh) and I particularly loved giving the Sushi Chef (who I hear is a master who would love to practice his craft creatively off menu when given the chance :) my loves, preferences and any dietary constraints and he just surprised us w/delicious stuff of his own creation. It's become our favorite!“

“I am visiting and was really excited about this restaurant…very cool decor and food is quite good. The person who took my order was Paul (whom I later discovered was a manager?), and he was training a new staff member. After taking my order, he never came back to my table again. Several times, I had to flag a busy waitress (Foam) who was lovely and helpful. ALL other staff members were hanging around near the sushi bar (or behind the sushi bar) and talking or joking or walking by and oblivious to simple things, refreshing a drink, refill of water, providing chopsticks, asking if everything was ok etc. I was there at 5:30 and the place was NOT busy….so it didn’t make sense. Overall, food was great, service (and training) could improve.“

Service is friendly and knowledgeable
Price is great
Presentation is pleasing
I know it is not easy to get a table even on weekdays. But it is worth it.
