“Fin’s has been my go-to sushi place for 10 years!!! The quality of the sushi is great! My absolute favorite dish is the sushi pizza. Unfortunately the Cleveland Circle location never re-opened for dine-in service after the pandemic, but on the upside it makes their pickup and delivery times super fast.“
“My favorite sushi spot in Oak Square. It's nothing crazy special tbh but it always just simply fresh and good. Best reliable, affordable sushi place. I like how they keep the salmon in a big piece in their spicy salmon rolls. And their rice is flavorful and just right. The black capillary is also a good specialty roll. They do cash deals. I wouldn't say I love their sides, so I recommend stick with sushi, edamame, and miso. Definitely not a sit down spot, get it to go.“
“The other reviews make me sad, I’ve never had a bad experience here and it’s hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in the Allston-Brighton area! Not many places have mushroom sushi rolls and Miyuki’s are delectable, it’s in my order just about every time. I usually order Philly and Idaho rolls at most restaurants and Miyuki’s are top-tier compared to other restaurants. I also love their miso soup. Recently I branched out and ordered the ABC roll (Avo, Banana, cucumber), I couldn’t imagine what a sweet sushi roll would taste like and I was pleasantly surprised, a whole new world has opened up for me. Their prices are great too. I always order online and if I ever add notes like “side of spicy Mayo please”, they always fulfill my request which I sadly don’t always have that experience at other places, so they pay attention here. Same thing for sodas. The guy (sorry I don’t know his name!!) that greets you after you enter and helps you get your order is incredibly nice and appears almost immediately after I enter each time. I love that you can see the sushi chefs hard at work right there when you enter and I don’t mind that it’s not a sit down place, I like walking my order back home and watching a show instead :)“
“Quintessential no-frills sushi buffet with a very consistently good, varied menu. Staff is extremely efficient and helpful. The space is plain but feels very honest, evocative of the entire MO: coming here for Saturday lunch, you felt like you were a part of a long neighborhood tradition. Come if you haven't before!“
“We absolutely loved The Q and cannot wait to go back. We tried several things across their fantastic and diverse menu. From sushi, to dim sum, to Mongolian hot pot. . .all of it, and I mean ALL OF IT, was fantastic! The service was outstanding- there if you had questions, but also let us enjoy our food without rushing or interruption. The atmosphere was vibrant, but not loud. It was a wonderful meal. I have already recommended The Q several times.“
“Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!“
“We got the salmon cups, which was very hearty and yummy! We also got the Botan Ebi Ikura and the Miso Butter Cod and another handroll which I forgot but all were so fresh and delicious in their own ways. We did have to wait 20 minutes to be seated since it is a small space, but it was totally worth it!“
“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“
“This was an amazing Omasake experience in Lexington. Chef Mike prepares all of the sushi fresh in front of you. He is committed to pushing himself to create unique and different flavors. Definitely the best omakese we've had in the Boston area. Could not recommend more if you want great food with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.“
“This place was a hidden gem; even their entrance felt hidden. We came here after dinner to drink; we ordered three rounds. We tried Rio to Tokyo, San Juan to Hanoi, Lima to Dubai, Pennies del cielo, and Guavaleada. It was interesting that they mixed flavors from the departure city to the final destination into a drink. All drinks are presented beautifully, and you really can taste the alcohol. Since we both can't drink without snacks, even though we had dinner less than half an hour ago, we ordered the wagyu temaki, snow crab temaki, negi toro temaki, and yuzu rotate temaki. The quality of the ingredients was fresh, and there was not much rice. The menu is limited; don't come here if you expect a full meal unless you want to eat a poke bowl and/or are willing to pay a lot more just for small bites. I am willing to return if I am around the area for drinks and small bites.“
