The Mad Monkfish is a restaurant that offers a variety of dishes, including American, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Chinese cuisines. The restaurant has a policy of closing at the hours listed, which may not give customers much time to finish their meal after the kitchen closes.

Upon seating, customers are served water and menus immediately, and the kitchen closes 20 minutes before the restaurant's closing time. The restaurant's service is generally good, but the checkout method of having a card scanner and standing nearby may make some customers feel rushed and pressured to tip in a particular way.

The restaurant's menu is quite extensive, with around 100 items, which may indicate a lack of focus on specific dishes. One customer ordered the Korean Grilled Beef Bulgogi Bun and the Chicken Katsu Don and found the bun to be pretty good, but the meat not authentic Bulgogi.
