“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.”
“The additional noodle option was very worth it (nearly doubles the amount) and the soup base for the Umami Ramen is delicately seasoned and has a rich taste. Crew was also extremely friendly and helpful, a flawless experience for the price point.”
“The best meal- great service- Beautiful atmosphere And warm friendly hostess”

“Incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. Every dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the scotch egg and the duck if you go in March. Cocktails were great as well. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale without being stuffy. They were also very kind and accommodating around my wife's rare food allergy. Just an amazing meal and experience all around.
Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful evening. Hopefully we'll be back soon.”

“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!”

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!”

“Romantic, quaint, charming, homey and relaxed atmosphere to disconnect from notifications and catch up with loved ones over treats. A refreshing non-dinner dining experience.”

“An absolutely fantastic dining experience at Giulia. This is the kind of place that reminds you why great Italian restaurants are so special—thoughtful dishes, incredible flavors, and an atmosphere that feels both intimate and memorable.
Every dish we had was outstanding. The seafood pasta special with seabass and calamari was exceptional—perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The squash appetizer was another highlight and set the tone for a meal where every course felt carefully crafted and unique. From start to finish, the food was creative, balanced, and simply delicious.
The service matched the quality of the food—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. It’s exactly the kind of experience you hope for when dining at a private Italian restaurant where the focus is clearly on great food and great hospitality.
To cap it all off, the post-meal limoncellos were excellent and the perfect finish to a memorable dinner.
If you enjoy Italian cuisine that’s both authentic and inventive, Giulia is an absolute must-visit.”
“I think the recent negative review must've been a bot / AI (maybe some jealously going on there). Either way- Darling is an incredible bar with great product and friendly service. I would not be surprised to see them win some major awards next year. As a new establishment, Darling is absolutely crushing it and I am so happy to welcome them in Central Square. Cocktails are refined, balanced and interesting. Clarification techniques assure everything is smooth and refreshing. The enoki bao are things of dreams. Coursing allows for fun conversation between dishes with a date or friend.. Darling team thank you for everything you do! You are a wonderful presence and important place in the Boston cocktail scene :)”
“Incredible crêpes, truly incredible. I had the salmon, which held high quality, flaky, thick pieces of smoked salmon. Expertly flavored with capers, cream cheese and chive. The crêpe was delicately filled making it both satisfying and allowing the crêpe itself to retain its dignity. The outer crust of crêpe was buttery and crisp from start to finish. It was so delicious I ordered their classic (Nutella, strawberry, banana) to-go and it held up wonderfully as take-away. I’ll be remembering this café when I come to visit again! The café itself is beautiful and charming with lots of natural light and comfortable seating.”
“Pizza is really good and both appetizers we shared were delicious, enough for 6 people.
Why I wasnt a big fan of this place:
1. My white wine wasnt very chilled and my friend’s paloma cocktail wasnt a hit.
2. And before it has been 1.5 hours even they just brought the check to the table which is kind of a mood killer for me.
3. When I asked to get black pepper for the pizzas, one waiter said we dont have it…. then a few minutes later it was brought in a little dish - how do you not have peppper in a pizza restaurant?”
“Great traditional Irish music, lovely Guinness and Magners in a can ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Curry sauce was so good!”
“Incredible food at the Chef’s Table. Amazing coordination between staff in a small space. Very friendly and accommodating. Probably the best meal I have ever had and I didn’t choose any of the courses!”

Takeout Restaurants
“I had been following this restaurant for a long time since I came to Boston area, so I was so excited to be there. As “Uncle Roger” says, “not bad, not bad!”
Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.”
“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”
“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. (The photos used in this review were taken from Tawakal Halal’s Instagram page with permission from Tawakal Halal)”
“We enjoyed our meal at Judy’s Bay. We got the scallop crudo, the gochujang mussels (great flavors), the lobster roe pasta (good), the oyster mushrooms (relatively plain), and the stuffed hake (very good). For the price, I would have expected the dishes to be a little more complex. We were a group of three and it was a full but light meal, and we paid about $55 per person including tip. The servers were very good - they gave unhurried advice on the menu, they were unobtrusive when refilling our water glasses, and they always preemptively brought clean dishes when we needed them.”
“My family had a wonderful dinner at Mae’s last night. The service was efficient, attentive without being obtrusive and warm. The food was excellent, flavorful, balanced, light. We had number of dishes…pork gyoza (we went back for 2nds on this one), spring rolls, basil fried rice (nice spice level…maybe a little more oil than needed), ma po tofu, general Tso’s Thai chicken, and pad Thai (the star of the show). The mocktails were fresh and complex. Will be back. Oh we made a reservation. Highly recommend doing so.”
“Loved the diner decor (as someone not from the US) soo many things to choose from on the menu that can be vegan - and done well!! I had a Great galaxy sandwich which had vegan egg, bacon, cheese n hashbrowns. So good!! Could not finish it because I also got a delicious key lime frappe!! I need to return to try all the other things on the menu!! Updated from previous review on 2026-04-17”
“Muqueca Restaurante é simplesmente o melhor dos melhores restaurantes com a melhor culinária de comidas típicas Brasileira que tem aqui 🇺🇸! Tudo de primeira qualidade feito com amor ! Atendimento excelente, preços não vou nem falar, somente vocês indo lá para comer e saberá! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We had dinner here for two on a Saturday evening. The vibes inside are warm and lovely. The staff were all very pleasant and our waiter was very knowledgable on the menu.
We got a couple of the pastas for entrees that were good, but weren't too impressive. The real standout for us was the mussels toast appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and complex. Overall a great dining experience.”
“Family had dinner at Stoked in Cohasset last weekend….what a great meal! Pizzas were SO delicious, as were the Greek and Caesar salads. House wines were really good. Children loved their meals too. Our server was terrific, fun and attentive. An overall perfect experience…casual and delicious!! It was a little quiet when we went, but it was early. Can’t imagine this local gem will be quiet very often! We’ll all be back ! Nana from Hingham”
“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!”

“Got lunch here yesterday for the first time. The man who took our order was extremely kind and flexible about our questions. The food came out promptly and was delicious especially for the price. Excellent experience, was previously unaware this place existed but I will definitely be eating here again!”
“This small Japanese husband-and-wife business, which has been running for 34 years, is closing down this June due to retirement, so I rushed over for a meal.
Pork Cutlet Curry: The restaurant specializes in fried foods, with the pork cutlet being their absolute signature dish. Although the cutlets were on the thinner, leaner side, each one was fried to order, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior, fragrant but not greasy. The breadcrumbs were especially fluffy and light, bursting with flavor on the palate, which was incredibly satisfying. The curry was authentic Japanese curry—rich, mild, and slightly spicy with a distinct fruity aroma, perfectly suited to my taste. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for a runny egg for the $2 additional egg; otherwise, it would have been even better. And at only $15 a serving, including a salad/miso soup, it's incredibly good value for money, perfect for lunch.
Fried Oysters: Also crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the oysters were fresh and juicy. The lemon juice and salad dressing were refreshing. I felt they were even more delicious than the pork cutlet.
The place is located in Lesley University's Main Hall and has only four tables, so you may have to wait.”
“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.”
“This is a small coffee bar with limited indoor seating and a nice backyard patio with additional seating. They also serve Vietnamese small plates which are tasty but the portions are a bit small for the price. There is no table service. You order your food and find a place to sit. They call you up to get your food when it’s ready and you’re expected to bus your own tables when done. Friendly staff.”
“beautiful patio expansion "Moona Oasis" to accommodate more guests!”
“A wonderful tiki bar! We loved the food and creative cocktails.”

“We definitely enjoyed our meal! Pan seared pork bao and mala duck for appetizers. General Tso’s chicken and Grandma’s pork noodles for entrees. Good stuff! Kyle the bartender was awesome. We ate at the bar,”
“Great food, great service. The yakitori are grilled to perfection. The wait staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The drink menu offers an array of sake, cocktails, wine and beer. Cannot wait to go back and try more food!”

“We booked the private dining area and had a great experience. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. Food and drinks were good and the overall booking process with Zoey was easy and transparent.”
“One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Our waiter was really nice and generous with his wine pours. The atmosphere was cool and eclectic. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the black cod and duck confit as our mains.”
“Not half bad, but a little expensive for what you get. If you love sea food and are in the Boston area, this is a cool new spot. If sea food isn’t your thing, maybe pass on this. But if you go, try the scallops, they were the bomb.com”
“Our dinner was outstanding and I have been to Puritan many times and have loved it each time but this experience was really notable. The main courses and salads were delicious and our service was delightful. Thank you for a great evening out!”
“An excellent dinner. Purple carrots! Lemon potatoes! Tahini mushroom with an egg! Blue fish! Good service. Guy ran down The block to return my bracelet which had fallen off! They give you the check in a Copy of the Constitution! Recommend but why are you not accessible! Such a contradiction of your stated philosophy. Should at least put it on your website with your apology”

“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.”
“The food here is top notch! And our waiter, Mo, was the best! We live in Palm Springs and we’re here with local friends. When we return to California we’ll be seeking out an Afghan restaurant there as the flavors are SO good! Thanks again, Mo, and the entire staff!”
“My family had a wonderful dinner at Mae’s last night. The service was efficient, attentive without being obtrusive and warm. The food was excellent, flavorful, balanced, light. “Everything was excellent! The West Lake Soup-superb! The pork chop soup- superb! Excellent fried rice! Excellent Orange Chicken! Delish dumplings and scallion pancakes! The sauces were homemade! Everything was hot and freshly made. Some of the best food I have ever had. Highly recommend it!!!!”
“Great place! Historical live music acts have played here for decades! great ownership! Great bartenders!”
“Must be the Best Bar/Restaurant/Tavern in Cambridge. Beer is cheap and Burgers are great, also love the shredded brusselsprouts.
It is here I discovered my love for Narragansett Beers, especially the Shandy.
The Staff are all very friendly and attentive but not overbearing.
We went here like 4 times in one week when visiting Boston, and I will miss it greatly.
Much love from Germany.”
“Punky vibe of the place. Staff is personable and friendly. Love the menu the drinks and bites are tailored nicely.
The dj area by the bar such a nice touch.”
“My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary date night! Our waiter Sam provided phenomenal service and the food was outstanding!
Food: We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the standouts were the fried mozzarella and the pastas. The fried mozzarella was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey throughout. Then the rigatoni bolognese and the spicy lobster pasta were the ideal choices for the two of us. We especially loved the chew and texture of the fresh pasta.
Service: This was the definition of seamless. The staff always had a purpose when they came by and it felt like we were being looked after. No moments of awkwardly wanting to ask for the dessert menu or the check.
Atmosphere: We couldn’t stop looking at all the amazing decor. Our window seats especially had great soft lighting. All the fixtures and elegant colors matched the high quality of the food.”
“Popular dinner spot in Cambridge!
The thai food here was SO good and SO affordable! Portions were really generous.
Overall it was very fast and attentive upon seating. However, the wait to be seated took quite a long time despite being 3rd in line, and when it said that our table was ready online, we still had to wait another 15 minutes. Totally understandable though since it was a Saturday night, just reflecting on personal experience.
. Loud, upbeat, and vibey. Interior is very aesthetic and in a tighter space, but super fun and a great place to grab dinner and chat with friends.
Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you are in the Cambridge area.”
“This is my favorite place in Cambridge/Boston.
I highly recommend the makimono — especially the Sakana and Crimson rolls with yuzu and squid. The sushi quality is excellent, and I also loved the tuna tots and soft-shell crab sushi. Surprisingly, the prices are about two-thirds of what you’d expect for this quality.
FYI to the manager: I’m the one who ordered the Diet Coke! 😄”
“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.”
“The food was delicious and the stuff was very nice and very cautious with the virus situation.”
“Best Crumbl experience yet 🍪 All thanks to the lovely sales associate, who was so genuinely welcoming and friendly! He went the extra mile to make sure my cookies were safe and secure as I would be flying them over later that day. I unfortunately didn't get his name but was there at 10:00. Please make sure he gets the recognition he deserves! ⭐️”
“My husband and I were hungry and randomly stopped by this place. The ingredients were excellent, especially for such affordable prices. We were pleasantly surprised.”
“S&S is OPEN for deli takeout during this time from 11am- 7pm. Curbside pickup. Enter only at front door 1334 Cambridge St.”
“Great food as always, and the staff are really nice once you walk into the restaurant they always say hi to you”
“Small beer selection, wine and a bar. But they were great, super friendly, and the food was good.”
“The best Mediterranean food in Cambridge, I recommended this place, good food, good prices, and very nice customer service. Thank you ???”
“Raoul and our server were the best. Great customer service despite how busy they were. Raoul, the general manager, was so accommodating and friendly and checked on our table multiple times. He even noticed I didn't enjoy my drink and offered to take it off the tab. I will 100% come back and recommend this place! While it is a chain restaurant, their treatment and handling of customers felt like a family and very intimate dining experience.”
“Wow. Wow. What a discovery! I ordered delivery and expected something “okay”. I am left speechless. This was arguably the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Quality, quantity, taste - phenomenal...I had the Mediterranean mix which was a great sample of all different tastes. The rice (usually just fill in deliveries) was excellent with that slight bit of saffron coating it. Thank you!”

“Our favorite spot. Casual atmosphere. Parking can be challenging but they now have some additional parking. Pickled chicken fingers never fail!! Great Wedge Salad with steak.”
“Hungry after a delayed flight, my nine-year-old daughter and I walked to One Bite & Bar simply because it's close to our Airbnb, we wanted something fresh, and it maintains a good Yelp rating. It didn't disappoint.
The space is one large room with excellent service. To feed us both, we ordered the California, shrimp tempura, and mango avocado sushi. We also got the seaweed salad, miso soup, and egg drop soup. Everything was good and full of flavor.
Our entire bill was $35, which isn't bad flying in from an expensive city.”
“I’m surprised this place only got 4 reviews averaging 4. As Chinese who grew up in China this is one of the best and authentic places I’ve had over the years on the east coast. It may not be the fanciest but one of the warmest and most delicious and authentic places. Deserves a lot more traffic and better reviews than it has gotten. Extra bonus: you get to meet a friendly Caucasian waiter who speaks perfect mandarin.”
“The food here is delicious and the service beautiful. We loved it! The lunch specials are not to be missed. Great value!”
“Whenever I’ve been there, I have found the place to be cozy, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and the food has been delicious. At least what I’ve ordered.”
“I absolutely love this place!!! The food is so good and everyone is so nice. I’m vegetarian so there isn’t too many options but the one they have is amazing. 10/10 recommend.”
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.”
“Cambridge Common is a vegetarian friendly, classic restaurant/bar with good food at a fair price, a big beer menu and a great staff. I used to go here twice a week 2008-2012 and they've still got the magic. A classic spot I can take my picky parents to or meet a bunch of friends”
“This restaurant is dope. The interior is warm and inviting. It’s modern and chic. Definitely an elevated hipster vibe. A chill spot to hang out after work or nice date night. The food is bomb! For apps, I’ve never had a Chinese-inspired arancini. These crispy delights are addicting with their crack sauce. The sauce is a must have on the arancini. The salad is light and refreshing. The Kokoda is a well made dish. I never had blue fin tuna until I came here. The combo with the fresh fish with the acidity from the lemon juice and smooth finish of coconut sauce - oof, worth a try. There’s also another surprise about the Kokoda - there’s something called sea grapes 🍇 and were bursting of flavor and freshness. A nice addition to the dish. I could go for seconds with the Kokoda because it’s a bit small for me. I wish they made it 2x bigger so it could be more shareable with a date or with company. The Maine Uni was surprisingly delicious 😋. I honestly thought it was too expensive but after having it, it was an amazing amuse bouche (the perfect bite). I couldn’t believe that small bite packed so much flavor and complexity. It was balanced and left me feeling happy. Totally worth it. For mains, the pork belly adobo melts in your mouth. So good! The mushroom raviolis are my favorite out of this menu. The salted duck egg sauce is what makes this dish memorable. I would definitely eat this again. The bitter melon ratatouille is not my favorite because it wasn’t seasoned enough for me. It felt as though it was missing salt. The veggies were perfectly roasted though, but it didn’t quite smack like the other dishes. The ribeye is good, but not my favorite. I might be biased because I’ve had better at other places. For desserts, the pandan sorbet is tasty. I’m not a fan of the pandan taste. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it because I love avocados and bananas and in ice cream form? No brainer. I wished they had a version without the pandan flavoring. I’m curious as to how it would taste then. The matcha cheesecake is surprisingly well-balanced. Not too matcha where it’s overbearing. The matcha is subtle while the richness of the cheesecake smacks just right and not overly sugary. The late night menu - I only tried the Chicharrón taco 🌮. The combo of crispy pork belly and the acidity from the lime is perf. Nothing else to say. Surprisingly really filling. I probably can’t have more than 2 of these tacos and I’m a pretty big guy. The drinks - I love the names and how they have a play on words. The blood orange and the banana espresso are my favorite. These drinks have enough booze and not too much where it’s offensive. Blood orange is enjoyable to drink and the banana espresso is complex with a chocolate finish. Their nice, clean cocktails. Service was awesome! The servers were friendly and quick. They regularly checked in with my wife and me. I don’t think I even had to do the awkward “please help us” lean at all. They were there when you needed them! Amazing 5 star service! You want a culinary experience. This place won’t disappoint.”
“Great place to eat near St. Stephen's Basilica. Delicious Italian food. Great wine/beer list. Delicious desserts. Very nice staff. So pretty inside and out. Nice terrace to eat and people watch. Highly recommended !”
“Ordered food through Uber eats last night & couldn’t of been happier. I was having a craving for hot pretzel sticks so that’s what I searched on Uber. I came across this place & omg it was sooo worth it. I also got a paper explaining who the owners are and more about the place. I can’t wait until I can come with my family when this all ends! So happy I found you guys. Thanks!!”
“Went with friends this last weekend and had a great time. Service was top notch, food was well prepared and tasty, drinks were creative and delicious. We’ll be back!”
“great Portuguese food & great bar they got foosball which is a plus”
“Once again you and your wonderful staff at Coast Cafe, have outdone yourselves!! Joshua's birthday celebration was an amazing time and partly due to your delicious food. Everyone gave high praise to every dish and went back for seconds and thirds. Thank you so much for being such a Beacon of Light in the Community! We love Coast Cafe!!”
“I've gone to this Revival location for coffee often and have had bites at the bar - but this was my first dinner! Andres was a fabulous server, he was a delight and made our experience so special. and the entire service team was kind and attentive. The food was lovely and classic with creative hints that elevated the standard offering. Really glad we stopped in! We'll be back :)”
“Wow, if you like the best of the best in Craft beer, you gotta stop by, grabbed the garlic knots too, they were delicious...”
“Went there last night after daughter's graduation with her boyfriend's family and her other friends. The bar was loud and very busy as expected but the servers and hosts were kind enough to accommodate us. But it was one particular bartender of Asian origin (I am an Asian myself) who was flustered the entire time we were there and we were not even ordering from her. It was a different bartender who was nice. And when I wanted to close the tab, she asked me something I couldn't hear and when I asked her again, she snapped so viciously, I was aghast. That was beyond rude and more like a criminal behavior towards a patron. I didn’t escalate it and left quickly but this perhaps is a repeat behavior from her and her attitude didn’t seem new. I hope the management/owners take notice of this. The way she behaved and looked flustered the entire time warrants termination, no less. This has nothing to do with the pub, the servers and bartender there are nice, except that one person who shouldn't have been employed.”

“I recently hosted a private party at Gran Gusto in Cambridge to celebrate a very special occasion, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. As a vegan, I was blown away by how thoughtfully they crafted an entirely plant-based buffet menu just for the event. Every single dish was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. In addition to the vegan fare, the team went above and beyond to provide gluten-free options for a couple of celiac guests, making sure everyone could enjoy the celebration without worry. The warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and mouthwatering food made the evening truly unforgettable. I’m so grateful to the Gran Gusto team for helping make my celebration so special. I highly recommend them for any event—or even just a night out. They’re a gem in Cambridge! The only bad thing? Time flew by way too fast—because everything was so magical and beautiful. ✨”

“We had such a great experience at Alden & Harlow! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The New York Strip with eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly — tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the rich, creamy hollandaise. The Avocado Toast was fresh and vibrant with just the right balance of textures and seasoning.
And the star of the table? The Big Cinnamon Bun! It was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet — easily one of the best we’ve had.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was attentive, and the food exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back. A special thank you to Makayla for her amazing service! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly. We really appreciated her positive attitude and attention to detail — it did not go unnoticed!”
“I wandered into Harvest based solely on their Google rating, with no inclination as to what the menu might hold. I'm so glad I did! The staff was friendly and attentive. My goblet was refilled before the thought crossed my mind that I may need more. Dishes were cleared almost immediately after each course. The food came out beautifully presented and piping hot. I ordered the Humboldt Fog plate, Mushroom & French Onion soup (Who thought to put miso in it?! Yum!) and roasted asparagus. I was very pleased and would certainly recommend folks give Harvest a try!”
“We had our wedding at Batifol, with ceremony next door at the bakery. It was literally the most amazing experience. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! And they allowed dietary changes for guests with all different kinds of restrictions (vegan, gluten free allergies). 100% recommend any day of the week. I also love their brunch and dinner menus. And If you want to have an intimate event, their event coordinators are out of this world!!! Thank you all for making out day so perfect!”
“Valentine’s Day with the family was celebrated with a great Italian restaurant.
We started of our night with Tuscan Red Wine from Montalcino region suggested by our server Tomas.
For appetizers:
• 2 Dozen Oysters. Tiny but fresh and they went out fast!
• Calamari in Gratella was amazing! They were grilled and perfectly cooked squid’s. Splash of lemon and a sprinkle of salt.
• Cesare Salad was delicious! Always a must order and not overpowered with so much dressing.
• Chicken Liver Pate in Crostini brought me back memories of when my grandma used to make them back in the day. Perfect seasoning.
For entrée:
• Rigatoni Norcina was amazingly delicious! Perfect amount of truffle flavor. Every bite was definitely enjoyed!
For dessert:
• Créme Caramel AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not good at all
• Tiramisu HIGHLY disappointed. If you’re looking for the typical classical tiramisu; this is not it! It’s literally ice cream with coffee flakes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
• Panna Cotta was the best dessert we had.”
“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it”
“I had been following this restaurant for a long time since I came to Boston area, so I was so excited to be there.
“The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! Our server was top-notch,very attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. We are looking forward to our visits this summer during the Red Sox games.”

“Excellent coffee shop. It's rather hard to find (see my photo with an arrow pointing to the cafe). Inside there's a coffee shop vibe, with lots of people on laptops. They serve beer and wine in addition to coffee, and I wonder if there's more of a wine bar vibe in the evening. I've ordered espresso beverages a couple times and they're great.”
“The bowl was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I especially loved that it wasn’t overly sweet or artificial like many açaí bowls can be. The balance of flavors felt really natural and high quality. On top of that, the portion size and price made it an amazing value. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“A bakery where craftsmanship is visible before the first bite, because the display already signals that the team cares about texture, finish, and restraint. The laminated pastries show real technical control, with crisp outer layers giving way to a light, airy interior, and the fillings are balanced enough to let the dough still matter. Their babkas are especially gorgeous: babka is a rich, braided yeast bread of Eastern European Jewish origin, traditionally filled with chocolate or cinnamon, baked so that each slice pulls apart into soft, ribboned strands with caramelized edges. Here, that contrast between tender crumb and slightly crisp exterior is handled with precision. The ingredients taste high quality, and the value is not just in the price but in the sourcing, preparation, and plating, with each item looking carefully finished rather than mass-produced. A real stamp of excellence is the La Marzocco coffee machine and the fact that espresso is served in actual ceramic tazzine, a small but telling detail that says a lot about standards. Service is efficient and calm, and the room has a clean, modern energy that works well whether you are grabbing something quickly or pausing with coffee. Items are consistently served at the right temperature, which helps both aroma and texture come through clearly. Best move: go mid-morning for the strongest selection, especially if you want first choice of the babkas.”
“This bakery is absolutely amazing! 🥐☕️
The sandwiches and pastries are incredibly delicious — everything tastes fresh and perfectly made. The place itself is unbelievably aesthetic and cozy, with beautiful dishes and presentation that make every detail feel special. You can tell everything — from the food to the coffee cups — is chosen with great taste. Definitely a must-visit spot!”
“We were visiting from out of town and were recommended by a friend to try this cafe out. It was absolutely amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pastries themselves were fantastic. They looked incredible and tasted wonderful. I was able to get a decent London Fog in Boston (which is something I had a hard time finding). I got a coffee bean pastry which had an amazing chocolate/coffee mousse flavor (and texture)! My son got a cinnamon roll which he loved. My other son was having a hard time choosing and the person behind the counter was so sweet and gave him a cream filled pastry that they had extras of. This cafe is high end, but without the high end price tags. If I’m ever in Boston again, I will definitely come back. 1000% would recommend.”
“Saw this constantly on tt and reels so I had to try, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was right next to a Photo Booth area we took photos in so we went here for a quick stop!
Food: It was SO good! I got the Thai tea version, and it had Thai tea soft serve in a hand-wrapped mochi, with warm boba on the bottom and a little “pipette” of Thai milk tea to drizzle on top. The mochi was so soft, the soft serve creamy, the warm boba a perfect complement, and the pipette just a cute, quirky addition. 😛✨
Service: It was lovely! The girl who was my cashier was so patient and kind as I asked to try multiple flavors because I couldn’t decide. The people making the desserts were organized and quick as well.”
