“From start to finish it was amazing. The drinks and food were delicious. Atmosphere was so unique and you felt like you were truly in another place. The bartender we had was so different than anyone we've ever met. His food and drink recommendations were spot on.”
“Delicious, Yummy, Friendly, Locally owned, with baking ingredients specialities! We’re so happy to have this warm and inviting place around the corner from where we live. #support local !!”
“Our first time at the Bistro and it didn't disappoint. Full house with a lively vibe, speedy/friendly service, great cocktails, amazing food. We had the French dip panino and the papardelle with ragu and it was a flavor festival like we hadn't had in a while. Definitely going back to try other items on the menu!”

“Very cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Food is excellent. Street is a little noisy.
Vegetarian options: The cauliflower steak is excellent.”

“Absolutely delicious in it’s perfect simplicity!”
“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.
The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.
I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.
Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.”
“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!”
“Delicious desserts and a phenomenal wine selection set in a candle-lit, cozy bar — what more could you ask for!
The friendly staff, excellent records, and purple touches give the bar the coziest, "you're exactly where you're supposed to be" feeling.
The tiramisu with the nerocapitano can't be missed!”
“Excellent food. Had many small plates. Beef, shrimp, plantains, corn fritters, mushrooms -- all tasty. Server could have been more attentive. Would highly recommend.”
“Let me start with the staff, very friendly and welcoming. The best I've seen in Boston thus far. So thank you for the great hospitality Bosso.
The food was great. Their hand rolls are delicious. I also had hokkaido croquettes; these were special. I would definitely come back and try more of their dishes.”

“I mean what else can you say, this place is an absolute pillar of Cambridge. Between the delicious coffee, food, and the beer, you could happily spend all day here! Amazing place to work”
“My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Siagon Babylon and it has easily become one of our favorite Boston restaurants. The plates are small and I recommend getting a couple to share (tapas style). We loved that each dish had classic southeast asian flavors, but was so unique. You will not find dishes like this anywhere else in Boston. Excited to come back for more!”
“WOW! BBQ IN BOSTON
Last night I had friends visiting from the Midwest and let's just say that going out for seafood was not on their priority list but intrigued on how BBQ in the Boston area would compare with where they are from we ventured out to the Smoke Shop BBQ and chose their Harvard Square Cambridge location. From start to finish the experience and food was top notch. And according to group the BBQ topped what they are used to in the Midwest. Thank you Julius and Stephanie for a great experience and kudos to Andy and his entire team.”
“Great pizza an salad plus awesome non alcoholic drinks !”

From small bites to more substantial dishes, there's something to satisfy every palate.Overall, Brick & Mortar gets a resounding 100% recommendation from me. “My absolute favorite spot for oysters! They always have 6 different oysters on the menu and they are all always excellent. A little pricey but worth it for the quality. Half off oysters ($1.63 each) from 5-6pm every day!”
“Great takeaway sushi place in Cambridge. Varieties of menu to picked from and the quality are as expected. The seating is a bit limited, but I found it not that hard to find a seat.”

“Amazing food. Don't miss out on the pasta dishes or the bread. They actually make for great sharing apps. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Drinks are delicious and unique.”

Takeout Restaurants
“A specialty coffee restaurant located in Cambridge, Boston. In addition to selling coffee and meals, the store also sells its own craft beer. You can not only enjoy beer in the store, but you can also take beer home. This time I ordered hot Americano and Kouign Amann. The coffee tastes mellow and delicious, and the slightly sweet icing on the outside of the creamy Oman is paired with the creamy mille-feuille, giving it a rich and delicious taste.

“Absolutely incredible experience! The sweet and savory crepes were both delectable. Lots of options for kids, exceptional service! Highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Super family friendly with phenomenal staff!”
“Simply the best burger in town! And don’t miss the city best Raspberry Lime Rickey.”
“Most of the reviews here seem to be for the now-closed East Boston location. I ate at the fast casual location in the MIT student center in Cambridge, and the beef biryani was fantastic.”
“Staff, atmosphere, live music, food, beer - all great. What's not to like!”
“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.”
“? It was the most delicious thing I ate in Boston.. I couldn’t eat cilantro, so I ate it without it.. Is Brazilian food really this delicious..? The staff was so friendly and cheerful haha. It was a pleasant evening..!!”
“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Boston/Cambridge. The short rib khao soi MIGHT be the best dish in the entire state, it is absolutely perfect. Great beer selection with affordable prices. The staff is always friendly, and the owners are so incredibly sweet. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”
“Delicious food and great coffee drinks! Excellent service from everyone and a super cute space —- highly recommend!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!”
“As with most Dunkin' locations, your drink can differ in taste day to day even if you order the same thing. Although, what makes this location special are the sweet employees who work here. Beatrice at the register is so kind and a gentleman at the counter asks what your order is if he sees you waiting for a while. Overall, my iced lattes are tasty and the service is wonderful!”
“Idk why but BKs Whoppers just tastes different than the rest. Would say it’s my favorite fast food burger among the big chains. Their nuggets are a different story though-tastes like they’re made from alien meat-not in a good way. Get yourself a Whopper!”
“You will not find any Indian food restaurant beating the taste of this one.
Delicious food; I tried chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, basmati rice with some lassi at the end. IT IS AMAZING!!”
“outstanding!! we missed our flight to South Beach Miami so we decided to spoil ourselves and boy were we spoiled. so so good. everything was outstanding. excellent cocktails too”

“Great place! Historical live music acts have played here for decades! great ownership! Great bartenders!”
“Since they opened in the early 1980s (could any ice cream be better than Steve's I wondered back then?), they have been hands downs serving the creamiest and tastiest ice cream in the Boston area. My go-to flavors are any of the ones with hazelnut (nocciola & gianduja -- which either they are now calling nutella or they have added yet another hazelnut flavor -- and all of their chocolates, especially Belgian chocolate, the occasional orange-chocolate, and Mexican chocolate). There's nothing like that to be had like these in most of the rest of the local ice cream shops. If only I could get there more often I would branch out more 'cause there are still plenty of enticing flavors I haven't tried yet. It's a pricey treat, especially since I can recall 1980s ice cream prices! But if I want to treat myself, this is the spot. I gave them one star off for service because the folks behind the counter just aren't as cheerful and friendly as a generation ago. A sign or our times perhaps.”
“Great customer service, some of the best coffee, great waffle, will visit again!”
“Amazing cafe!!! So glad this is in walking distance of my house - the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is great. Not surprised there’s always a line. Plus the chocolate chip cookies are ??”
“So happy they finally opened!! The matcha donut is my favorite, must try!!”
“I stumbled upon this bakery after reading a review of one of their customers on Google. I had to try it out myself. This place did not disappoint. I got a croissant, pain au chocolat, Pecan bun and ham and cheese sandwich in a baguette. Pecan bun was a blast. Everything else was awesome too.
This is hands down the best bakery/patisserie in Boston.
Thank you for the Pecan bun, it was amazing.
Note: this is not a traditional cafe. It is takeout only.”
“absolutely stunning vegan ramen! Everything I've had from here has been amazing.”
“Phenomenal. If you don't like it then you don't like food in general. Diced pickles on an Italian sub is a game changer. Cannot recommend enough - small sub + 1 slice is king.”
“Small beer selection, wine and a bar. But they were great, super friendly, and the food was good.”
“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.”
“One of our fav spots when we visited Boston! The eggs Benedict was so full of flavor that I just wanted to lick the sauce. The food came out super fast despite the long lines. The citrus arugula salad was a perfect balance to the Benedict. Yummm I can’t wait to go back and have some more next time I’m in Boston!”
“We booked the private dining area and had a great experience. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. Food and drinks were good and the overall booking process with Zoey was easy and transparent.”

“Sausage, beans & MASH what a meal to have after a FAST! Drinks & soda bread with buttah along with a bowl of Beef stew, you really can't go wrong. The basics done! Enjoy the music and food!”

“Good dining experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. My server replaced a dessert I didn't like with no change- which was very nice of her. Did the tasting menu which was nice. Next time I'll prob try the a la carte menu.
Parker House rolls:
Pillowy soft. Slightly sweet with a light dusting of salt on top. Butter was creamy and tasty too. 4/5
Potato pave
Like a giant French fry. Crispy outside nice and soft on inside. Topped with cavier and shallots which added a nice saltiness and savory flavor combo.
kampachi crudo-
Topped with basil, radishes, and cherry pepper drops
Good quality fish, slightly acidic flavor went well with the basil and radish. Cherry peppers added a light spice. Overall lacked flavor though 3.5/5
capitelli- topped with a Gremolata and capers, olive oil and eggplant
Very savory and well cooked. This was tasty 4.5/5
Pork loin with celery figs and peppers
Very tender and flavorful. Nice sauce with savoriness and a sweetest added by the figs 5/5
Dessert was a pear sorbet-
So good! Very. Tasted exactly like a pear. No added sugar no additives. so good! 5/5”
“If you’re like me and you’re in the constant pursuit of the elusive Matcha Softserve and anything adjacent to it, you will absolutely love the matcha frapp (more like a milkshake) here. I did not expect an Americana diner in Boston to have such fresh, fragrant matcha but here we are. I forget what the names of what we ordered were but all the savory was 10/10 (tbh the French toast was unimpressive but if you’re in the mood for sweets by all means go for it). My friends were obsessed w the vegan bacon. Wish they wouldn’t stock Zionist yo egg though!”
“The food is amazing! I totally forgot the name of the dish but the pork with noodle dish with the fried rangoon was amazing def recommend 🍜. Crispy chicken basil is also good and I recommend it with the sticky rice 🍚. The Hor Mok (salmon, shrimp, etc. curry inside a coconut 🥥) is pretty good too! The mango sticky rice is a go-to dessert 🥭”
“Staff, atmosphere, live music, food, beer - all great. What's not to like!”
“We love The Helmand...it's not just a meal, it's an adventure. The food is beautifully prepared, the service is attentive and friendly, and the vibe is simultaneously exciting and sophisticated, in a comfortable and casual sort of way. The room has been full the four or five times we've dined there and the guests are always engaged in high-spirited conversations that you might experience in extended family gatherings. It's lovely.”
“Ive only gotten take out from Lanner and I keep ordering the chicken topped noodles (really should try their other dishes, but its too good to stop). Their portions are perfect to leave you well fed, though you will not have leftovers (in my opinion Id rather be served the amount that will satisfy me rather than be overserved). The dish has a compounding spice that, by the end, will leave your mouth tingly and numbed in the best way possible. One day Ill try something new, but not today.”
“I worked with Shin on a catering order for my sister’s wedding. The ordering process, delivery and service were excellent! Tea-do’s pricing and flavor options were the most competitive in the area. It was a huge hit with the guests. Highly recommend!”
“The restaurant is exceptional and took care of my group of 3. The atmosphere is great!! Exotic and professional for our business team!!”
“beautiful patio expansion "Moona Oasis" to accommodate more guests!”
“All time favorite. This is one of the best places to get venison or any seasonal offerings. The wild mushrooms are so delicious and even my brother who hates mushrooms enjoyed them. The menu closely follows our seasons as everything that can be sourced from the wild is! There’s a constantly changing menu. The smoked trout is particularly memorable. The food really has a lot of flavor and depth. They have special wine dinners with fixed menu and pairings as well.”
“Very nice and cozy place. Food is okay. We got there at 6, and they ran out of the bone in ribeye. The prime rib was okay. Portions are pretty big. Price is not bad.”
“Great spot. Came here with a large group and was served a pre-selected meal. Staff was able to accommodate my food allergy safely, even in that challenging situation.”

The staff is always friendly, and the owners are so incredibly sweet. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”
“Fantastic dinner, very dish was unique as were the cocktails. So often cocktails are marketed well but executed poorly, not the case here, fantastic creativity. Desserts were equally impressive. Service was wonderful and friendly, even with us dinning with kids.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, friendly service”
“Really great vegetarian options, tofu sandwich is especially great.
Vegetarian options: Tofu and other seasonal options for bowls and sandwich.”
“Amazing! We loved everything we ate. The orange beef was so interesting and not like anything we've had. The crab rangoons were so fresh! Definitely worth it!”
“Great takeaway sushi place in Cambridge. Varieties of menu to picked from and the quality are as expected. The seating is a bit limited, but I found it not that hard to find a seat.”
“I frequent this restaurant to the point the staff recognize me! Handsdown best value and best quality hot pot in the Boston area (in my opinion). The meat always taste so high quality and flavorful - meat is very easy to taste amiss if it's low grade. The broth is delicious, especially when it cooks down. Excellent array of side dishes, only thing is it varies sometimes. Would love to see thin enoki mushrooms more consistently and my friend would love to see mussels more consistently. Other than that this is THE place to go to for hot pot!
Wheelchair accessibility: They have some tables that are wheelchair accessible. Would recommend going not on weekends as it gets very crowded there. But the staff are great about accommodating mobility aids!”
“Once again you and your wonderful staff at Coast Cafe, have outdone yourselves!! Joshua's birthday celebration was an amazing time and partly due to your delicious food. Everyone gave high praise to every dish and went back for seconds and thirds. Thank you so much for being such a Beacon of Light in the Community! We love Coast Cafe!!”
“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!”
“It was a really enjoyable experience. We went there for a late dinner, and the staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Located on the first floor of a hotel, the restaurant gives off a vibe reminiscent of checking into a nice hotel. The space was pleasantly quiet and cozy with warm table lighting, which appreciated the most.
I highly recommend trying the grilled octopus—it was my favorite. The delicious aroma of butter, paired with sautéed vegetables and spicy sauce, created a fascinating blend of flavors. I also really enjoyed the spicy crab noodles, which featured minced crab mixed with marinated noodles and Asian spices. As for the focaccia, it was my first time trying it, and while it was a bit salty for my taste, the combination of perfectly cooked mushrooms, butter, and sweet cheese was delightful.”
“Ordered food through Uber eats last night & couldn’t of been happier. I was having a craving for hot pretzel sticks so that’s what I searched on Uber. I came across this place & omg it was sooo worth it. I also got a paper explaining who the owners are and more about the place. I can’t wait until I can come with my family when this all ends! So happy I found you guys. Thanks!!”
“I tried this restaurant today and loved it. The fish and octopus were super fresh so I highly recommend trying anything with seafood in it. We also had a mushroom tofu dish, a couple of salads, and the strawberry tapioca dish and everything was so flavorful. A plus is the space which was really pretty and in such a nice location. I am glad to have discovered this gem of a restaurant and am definitely coming back!”
“The food was delicious and the stuff was very nice and very cautious with the virus situation.”
“I didn't have the chance to try their food, but I saw a few dishes come out of the kitchen and they looked delicious.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and the attention is wonderful.
Today we had the pleasure of having two delicious papelon with lemon courtesy of the house. Grateful?????”
“I don't sit there, but I order all the time. The sushi and sashimi is fresh and the different dishes are exquisite I enjoy their courteous and friendly service.”
“Service gets 1 star because you pour your own beer from tap, and you pick up your own food when it’s ready. Because there is no food service you don’t have to tip. Every time I goit’s the manager who give the beer cards and I know the managers and kitchen staff is getting paid at least minimum wages.
Parking: It’s surrounded by apartments and businesses which have their own parking. You can park at alewife’s garage and walk.”
“Great local bar with solid drinks and great food.
Among the bars near Harvard Square, Abbey is my first pick for a laid-back drink on a patio. It’s just far enough from the noise, with reasonably priced drinks and, best of all, seriously good food. While the menu doesn’t push creative boundaries, they do the American bar comfort food done right.
Small bites like the Bacon Deviled Eggs and Pulled Pork Egg Rolls were tasty, but the entrée department was where Abbey excelled. Both the Salmon and Cod were outstanding—honestly, some of the best entrées I’ve had at a bar in recent memory. Each had an impeccable texture, almost as if delicately poached. The Salmon, paired with heirloom tomato risotto and a basil pesto vinaigrette, had a pleasant touch of acidity. Meanwhile, the Cod came with a potato scallion pancake, perfectly crisped and soaked in a shallot cream sauce, which added just the right crunch and salty punch to elevate the dish beautifully.
The crowd at The Abbey skews a bit older compared to some of the livelier Harvard Square bars, but it’s worth a visit f you’re after a more laid-back, cozy bar vibe. It’s popular among the locals, so if you’re hoping to snag a patio seat, I’d recommend going during off-peak hours.”
“We came in yesterday with special requests to please make sure our order was vegan. Not only did the staff clearly take this seriously and mark everything clearly, but they were so friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back!”
“We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded - I think because it hasn't yet been discovered as it's off the beaten path, tucked behind the Alewife T station amidst the apartment buildings there. They have a lovely ambience with spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit as well as a spacious indoor dining area that doesn't make you feel crowded next to strangers. The restaurant offers a small menu but with very interesting flavor combinations - especially among their house cocktails - and there was something for everyone (vegetarian or carnivore). We ended up splitting several shareable plates and each one was a winner. And all of the servers were pleasant and attentive. It's now on our list of go-to places.”
“Wonderful place to dine! Dimitri was very hospitable and gave great recommendations on what to try. Crack corn dip is AMAZING!!”
“wah ji wah , desi feel was awaken , best food bhaji , guys come here and taste real indian food”
“the prices are good food is good and people are too/music”
“First time having seafood boil, and it was such a pleasant experience!! The staff were all super friendly from the minute we walked in to receiving the check. Food was great and well seasoned - drinks were lovely. Overall splendid place!”
“Wow. Wow. What a discovery! I ordered delivery and expected something “okay”. I am left speechless. This was arguably the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Quality, quantity, taste - phenomenal...I had the Mediterranean mix which was a great sample of all different tastes. The rice (usually just fill in deliveries) was excellent with that slight bit of saffron coating it. Thank you!”
“S&S is OPEN for deli takeout during this time from 11am- 7pm. Curbside pickup. Enter only at front door 1334 Cambridge St.”
“We had a fantastic meal. We ordered meal for two. Yummy!!”
“A fantastic espresso martini! I had the pleasure of visiting Monteverdi recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The bartender BAKES’s Was absolutely amazing the Finley, skilled, and attentive. He crafted the perfect drinks and served the food with cares and precision elevating the entire evening! The combination of great drinks, delicious food, and excellent service made this visit truly memorable.
If you are looking for a place with topnotch bartending and crate food, specially I highly recommend Bartender Bake’s at MonteVerdi.
Can’t wait to return soon!”
“Man! I made the huge mistake of going to a different bar, and I'm on my way to the one and only Joe Sent Me of Cambridge.
This bar is like Cheers. Everyone knows your name! Not just the bartenders, but even the regulars.
I stumbled into this bar about 6 months ago and have been coming 2-3 times a week. I usually get their quesadilla, wings, or anything on the sat brunch (can't go wrong on that menu).
I left for about 2 months on vacation and when I returned the Owmer, Sandy shook my hand and asked where I had been! I felt very appreciated and welcomed. Jen & Steph are great bartenders and will remember your drink after two visits or less!
I don't leave bad reviews, but I will definitely not be going back to that other bar.
Tell Joe, Cayes sent you!
Be there soon!
Oh, the fish and chips are great! Had it for the first time a couple days ago. It was so tasty I had to stop and take a picture!”
“The small Hawaiian pizza at Area Four was generously sized and had a good blend of pineapple and ham.
The Al Pastor Hot Mess was delicious and savory comfort food. It was a special of the day.
The vibe is very casual inside. I came here on a late Sunday morning and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. There was no pressure to move out quickly. By the early afternoon, the restaurant did fill up.
The Mocktail selection was very good. I had the sparkling limeade and the pomegranate punch, both of which I highly recommend. The service was excellent.”
“Had an amazing experience. Our server Brian was very nice, attentive, and accommodating. It was not too loud so we were able to hear each other talking. Decor was tasteful. Food was excellent”
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.”
“Came here for the suasday pop up. The Cambodian Sandwiches were the feature event. Lemongrass Chicken, Kroeung Beef Curry , and Pandan Custard. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is very clean.”
“The food is incredible as is the service. This is one of our families favorite restaurants in Boston.
Vegetarian options: Lots of lentil, collard and barley crepe dishes . We are not vegetarian but find ourselves ordering the vegetarian options because they are so delicious
Kid-friendliness: We have brought our son since he was 7, and have observed plenty of families here
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and ample seating/aisles for a wheelchair”
“Sweet sports bar. Nice local spot for low key snacks. I’d definitely go here again. The burger wrapped in lettuce was perfectly medium cooked. Half roast chicken was super yummy. Truffle fries were perfect. They have karaoke that I want to check out.”
“Probably like many others, I found myself snacking all the time now that COVID-19 has us home 24/7, so I was in search of some healthy snacks made locally that I could have delivered to my home. So thrilled I thought of Nüssli118. I had previously attended a vegan dinner at her retail location in Cambridge and loved it. I wanted to try everything so I ordered the gluten-free bites (ginger spice and pumpkin spice), her sprouted nut clusters, ginger lemon squares, and her new vanilla spice overnight oats. The gluten-free bites satisfies my cookie cravings without the sugar crash. The nut clusters were awesome, I couldn’t decide if I liked the maple or salted caramel flavors best so I found myself alternating. They were the perfect late night snack. But the winner was the overnight oats- YUM. It was super easy to make- just add a cup of milk (we did unsweetened almond milk) in a jar, toss them in the fridge and voila- you’ve got breakfast with no effort. If you’re looking for healthy snacks while we aren’t able to go to the gym and you want to support a small business, this is the place to order. All of her products are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Even though I’m not a vegan, I love to eat raw foods because they give me energy without the crash or late night cravings. Highly recommend you try everything at first because it’s all unexpected and delicious.”
“My friend had her birthday party there! There were about 40 people there and the bartender was great! My drink, a gin mule, was excellent and I was drinking them all night. They provided great food and the atmosphere all around was really fun. I think this will become a common Friday night place for my friends and I!”
“I wandered into Harvest based solely on their Google rating, with no inclination as to what the menu might hold. I'm so glad I did! The staff was friendly and attentive. My goblet was refilled before the thought crossed my mind that I may need more. Dishes were cleared almost immediately after each course. The food came out beautifully presented and piping hot. I ordered the Humboldt Fog plate, Mushroom & French Onion soup (Who thought to put miso in it?! Yum!) and roasted asparagus. I was very pleased and would certainly recommend folks give Harvest a try!”
“What the menu lacks in variety, it makes up for in quality. We had the kebabs, chips & salsa and the chicken sandwich, and every single one blew away our expectations. Flavors were complex and robust, food perfectly prepared, and the worst part of the meal was when the decent portions were gone.
Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted after a 7.5hr car ride in dense New England traffic, and truly, this nerd-bar scratched every itch after a long, stressful day.”
“Great food, family atmosphere. We had a wonderful time!”
“Came here when I found out they had another spot - I usually frequent their tried and true Chinatown location. Food here is, dare I say, even better. Probably my favorite spot in the local area.
Beautiful, hip and trendy interior. Service and drinks are great as well! Love it here, will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.”
“Great service, great food, beautiful, cozy, friendly”
“Great drinks & brunch! Look forward to our next meal there!”
“Wonderful array of menu options. I defaulted to special pho, which was flavorful with lots of quality cuts of meat. Looking forward to my next visit and chance to further explore the menu. P.S. the server was very helpful with recommendations! ”
“This was our first visit to Amelia's and I can assure you it won't be the last!! We were greeted with a “happy to see you” smile as soon as we entered the door. The dining room was small but not cramped, bustling but not loud, wonderful ambiance. The service was excellent - attentive but never rushed. The food was out of this world delicious and beautifully presented. Amelia's is a neighborhood gem!! I'm just sorry it took us this long to finally try it out.”
“I'm not sure why the not great star rating! I came here on a weekday afternoon and I personally found it to have a really nice ambience. The food was perfectly decent and came quickly. I got the chilli scrambled eggs and found the dish to be flavorful and fresh. The waitress was really sweet, and I felt calm and soothed!”

“Noone should complete about Jim's boiled dinner because he always has does the best for restaurants and he has no problem doing it he will never let people down and he said that he never did it for him because he always does it for his staff to and one thing that I didn't know about that it took me over maybe 25years that jim went to Somerville high school with me because one day jim the cook ask me what school I went to and I said Somerville high school and he also said what year did I graduate I said 1985 when he came out he had his year book and he turned the pages he pointed out his pic and then I got my picks and then me and him and it took us 25 years to find out what happened to me and you because we both graduate the same year and the same school year it's just nice to be able to get breakfast and enjoy where people are friendly and treat you with respect God bless them all”

“We had our wedding at Batifol, with ceremony next door at the bakery. It was literally the most amazing experience. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! And they allowed dietary changes for guests with all different kinds of restrictions (vegan, gluten free allergies). 100% recommend any day of the week. I also love their brunch and dinner menus. And If you want to have an intimate event, their event coordinators are out of this world!!! Thank you all for making out day so perfect!”
“Small Cava in Harvard Square. It’s been my go to for the past 2 months whenever I drive into work.
My Order: brown rice, mini spinach/arugula mix, spicy chicken, sliced cucumbers with cut up broccoli, feta cheese, and light garlic dressing
Price: depending on what you ask (+tax) comes out to $12-$15. Most food places around the square are “pricey”, but Cava is definitely a HEALTHIER option than most places
One bowl alone gets me through for the rest of the day and for that, I’M THANKFUL!”
“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it”
“Best Boston cream pie cake I’ve ever had”
“Had the 'private' dining room for a business dinner, and didn't get the full choice of the menu. A grilled sea fish combo I chose was a little bland, and the quality was average, but the overall experience and other food was good.
Dietary restrictions: As it's a grill as well as a pasta joint, there are plenty of gluten free options. I guess you could ask for gluten free pasta like at many Italian places these days, although it's usually penne.”
“They have so many pastries and sweets to choose from and they’re all the size of my head. For reference I have an above average head size, I can fit in a one size fits all hat :(”
“I just devoured the Cubano sandwich...absolutely delicious, and perfectly satisfying. And now I get to kick back with a cup of what is unquestionably the best coffee in town. MAN, do I love this place.....”

“My family and I were looking for a place to eat dinner and this was near where we parked, so we weren't looking for fine dining. Everything far exceeded our expectations. I would still consider the format to be fast-casual, but the atmosphere (served on beautiful ceramic plates!), service, and food quality were all many levels superior to other fast-casual places.”
“New Bon Me outpost in Cambridge Crossing.
Bon Me seems to sprout up wherever new office spaces do around Boston and Cambridge, so it’s no surprise they’ve planted a new location in Cambridge Crossing. For years, lunch options here were mostly limited to Tatte and Cafe Beatrice, so it’s refreshing to see a fast-casual Asian fusion spot join the mix. Serving a blend of Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese dishes, Bon Me offers a healthier alternative to chains like Panda Express, though it doesn’t quite hit the same quality notes as your go-to neighborhood Asian restaurants.
For me, one of the best perks of Bon Me is walking away with a meal that’s big enough to tackle both lunch and dinner and pairing it with one of their refreshing tea or boba drinks. The K-Town Throwdown rice bowl with Gochujang Chicken didn’t quite knock it out of the park, with the bottom layer of rice swimming in sesame oil and the chicken a bit on the dry side. But thanks to the Kimchi and scallion jam, it was still decent. The Fried Rice was better—especially if you throw in some karaage chicken. The crispy crunch beats the regular grilled chicken hands down.
Their ramen was also solid. Not exactly traditional, but for a quick-serve fusion bowl, it slurped up pretty well. The miso kimchi ramen, in particular, brought the mix of Korean and Japanese flavors in all the right ways.”
“Very cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Food is excellent. Street is a little noisy.
Vegetarian options: The cauliflower steak is excellent.”
