“A really good, quiet, and friendly environment. They all welcome you and say bye afterwards. Their sushi and ramen are really good and had a beautiful presentation. If you are looking for a quiet place where to read and eat this is your place but go between 4:45-5:30!”

“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!”

We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! “We had our engagement party at Zuzu's in mid May and it was wonderful! We already knew the snacks, desserts, and wine would be fantastic from our previous visits. What really stood out was how attentive Alexandra was throughout the process. She did an amazing job of setting up our food and bev choices and was very flexible when our guest count changed last minute. We had exactly what we needed and ended up with only a few leftovers. Everyone was so helpful on the day of the event as well! The space was arranged perfectly and already so charming that we barely needed to decorate. We received many compliments from our guests and of course we had a great time as well!”

“Chef Robert passion for all things culinary AND climate change was on full display last night at Season to Taste's 100% plant-based multi course menu, in partnership with the 1 Million Tables campaign. If you care not only about delicious food but also, seasonal, fresh, responsibly sourced cuisine - and food that genuinely does good - for your gut microbiome, biodiversity on our planet and our ecological systems - then dining at this restaurant is a MUST-DO! Chef mentioned that they plan to include at least 2 plant-based appetizers and 2 plant-based entrees in their on going menu at all times. The dining room clearly lit up with this announcement. With more and more plant-based inclusions in their menu, Season to Taste could become Cambridge's very own "Eleven Madison Park"...watch out Chef Humm! :)”

“Had such a wonderful dinner at The Fallow Kin last night! Everything was delicious, but the blueberry salad, swordfish, and sweet corn dessert were absolute standouts.

Our server, Jon, made the whole experience even better. Every recommendation he gave us was spot on, he encouraged us to try things we might have otherwise missed, and he kept us laughing throughout the night. Great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back, and ask for Jon!”

“Depends what you are looking for. If it is traditional Cuban food, go elsewhere. If you are interested in latin american food wirh a Cuban flair, you will like this place. I am a native born cuban and I will approach these type of restauranrs wirh a Cuban Nouveu cuisine mentally so I am not immediately disapointed and can approach it more open minded. So think of hispanic food with a Cuban flair. If so, I was impressed with their small plates and entrees. Tasty and well thought out dishes. Nice cocktails with Cuban flair but some standards are available. See photos for their original Hemingway Daiquiri which was quite good. Service was friendly but could have been better but place was packed on a Friday night. Deserts were interesting. The Tres Leches was differnt and recommended. Prices were not cheap but reasonable and much cheaper than Mariel

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.”

But check out the menu of creative burgers and my own fave, a caprese smoked salmon sandwich with pesto. The high-end comfort food cooked with love by Steve is perfectly complemented by wine, beer, and full-bar offerings. Free jazz Thursday evenings and low-cover gigs many nights make this not just another pizza joint but a full- service jazz bar. Best post-pandemic discovery in the Square.”

“I recently hosted a private party at Gran Gusto in Cambridge to celebrate a very special occasion, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. As a vegan, I was blown away by how thoughtfully they crafted an entirely plant-based buffet menu just for the event. Every single dish was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. I ordered the Humboldt Fog plate, Mushroom & French Onion soup (Who thought to put miso in it?! Yum!) and roasted asparagus. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”

“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.”

Only complaint I could have is they are in an extremely isolated area but they still seem to always be busy. They do have a dast turn around considering the volume of people who go there.”

“We were visiting from out of town and were recommended by a friend to try this cafe out. It was absolutely amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pastries themselves were fantastic. They looked incredible and tasted wonderful. I was able to get a decent London Fog in Boston (which is something I had a hard time finding). I got a coffee bean pastry which had an amazing chocolate/coffee mousse flavor (and texture)! My son got a cinnamon roll which he loved. My other son was having a hard time choosing and the person behind the counter was so sweet and gave him a cream filled pastry that they had extras of. This cafe is high end, but without the high end price tags. If I’m ever in Boston again, I will definitely come back. 1000% would recommend.”

“Enjoying a delectable grilled turkey sandwich with a bottle of Alain Milliat strawberry juice, I was briefly interrupted by some rain falling (gently but persistently) in the generally delightful outdoor seating area. I brought it inside to resume my meal, now in a notably quiet (just about as though soundproofed) environment, taking into account outside the occasional roadwork as well as the occasional heavy traffic. For that matter, I enjoyed a little more completing that wonderful repast indoors. The relatively little service needed was consistently cheerful and pleasant and professional. I can scarcely wait to try a brioche something next time!”

I loveee black sesame anything but tbh it tasted like mashed potatoes, thought I was crazy but my boyfriend agreed lmaooo.his was super good tho. Quality of the ice cream and mochi were good, but the price is a little steep for how small they are, definitely worth a try tho!”
