The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.

“I was really looking forward to dinner here after finally snagging a reservation, but perhaps I came in with too high of expectations or ordered poorly. The quality of the food was certainly excellent, but none of the dishes truly amazed me where I would crave to go back. Sharing notes so hopefully someone else will order better than we did:
Pizza Bianca with ricotta & hot honey - loved that it came out super hot, but unless you love ricotta I would try a different dip
Mortadella & house pickles - great quality but wouldn't eat alone; best paired with some pizza bianca (and ask for it to come out with the pizza bianca...otherwise you might have to wait for it like we did)
Trevisano salad - my favorite bite because the red wine vinaigrette does help cut through all the other rich dishes
Cappelletti - more al dente than I expected, and it was hard to appreciate on its on because it was too salty
Tagliolini - also more al dente than I expected and kind of bland, though the flavors actually came out better when I ate the leftovers at room temp
Bergamot Blush cocktail - really well balanced, my husband enjoyed this a lot”

WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. “Good food, but not worth the rushed experience.
My wife and I reserved a birthday brunch here. After traveling an hour, we were rushed in and out in just 25 minutes. The server was so rushed they missed several of our ordered dishes. The bill arrived right away, leaving no time to discuss the missing items.”

“Stopped by today for the first time because I was craving pasta and I was really impressed by how nice they were! I had a very lovely conversation with the guy running the place and he was very friendly and even threw in some free garlic bread! Customer service done right in Boston!!!!

The food was pretty good and the portions are pretty decent. I tried the cajun chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta and my friend had mushroom ravioli and we absolutely loved both.

If you work in Brigham or go to Harvard Med I highly recommend stopping by.
Again, it is mostly the outstanding friendliness and customer service for me, the pasta is great too!”

“Some good, some bad, but the good overall won out. Had an overnight layover in Boston during a multi-day train trip and I figured an all-night diner would be a good spot to while away some time. I have multiple disabilities and travel with a service dog. I rarely have any issues with this, so I was shocked when before entering I was told I couldn't bring her in, even once I explained that she is a service dog. Worse, the young man I spoke to asked to see "service dog papers," which is a major violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. When I explained that there are no such thing as service dog papers and began to explain the ADA regulations, he interrupted me, saying, "If you don't have any papers, I don't know what you expect me to do." Fortunately, at that moment, another server swooped in and told him that he was breaking the law and that if the owner had a problem with it he could take it up with her. She seated me, apologized, and took my order. The menu had a really nice selection of vegetarian breakfast options and the portobello benedict was quite good. Once I was seated, nobody hassled me and the server (who said she had recently graduated from law school and knew the ADA regulations) was really nice about the whole thing, apologizing honestly more than she needed to. Overall a good experience, but if you have any accessibility needs, be prepared for potential problems.”

An employee named Victor tried to grab the balloon and when they couldn’t, Victor went to the back, grabbed a step stool and got the balloon down. The contrasting textures, flavors were mind blowing while the uniformity of color and artful plating felt so special. I have found each dish perfectly salted and seasoned. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taco Azul and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the Owner Dan who made me feel instantly at home. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness set the tone for the evening. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in on us periodically without being intrusive.

Our server, Michelle was equally remarkable. She were knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and exhibited an impeccable level of professionalism. They truly made me feel like valued guests, attending to every detail with a friendly and accommodating attitude.

And then there was the food — absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The Quesa-steak were standout items that I can’t stop thinking about. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of flavors showcased the skill and passion of the culinary team.

The combination of outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and incredible food made this dining experience truly exceptional. Taco Azul deserves all the accolades, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Dinner party for 8, we were a little late but they were very accommodating. We started with Samosas which came with two sauces a chutney and sweet. For entrees, I had the Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Cochin Curry, Palak Paneer, and the Rogan Josh Goat Curry with Garlic Naan. The curries came with a small bowl of white rice. My favorite curry was the Rogan Josh Goat Curry. The meat was tender with spices nicely infused to create a wonderful and smooth taste. I also ordered a Masala Chai which was the perfect temperature to sip! Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. I will be coming back again!”

“Inside the beautiful new Fellini bar at the Intercontinental this speakeasy is a dark oasis. Each drink tells a story. Who doesn’t love history and drinking! The drink menu is in a leather bound book full of interesting stories about the revolution and the drinks that fueled it. Bartender was excellent and definitely passionate about his spirits.”

“My wife & I went for dinner, and we had a very very nice time. I would definitely recommend The Vermillion Club! We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, as well as the wine! The wine was excellent. We tried the French onion soup dumplings, and the Caesar salad. Enjoyed the Caesar salad more, it was great!

I had a filet and my wife had the veal chop, we shared the carrots as well. All the food was delicious!

“This is still a fairly new location, it's very nice, clean & attractive, large & spacious with wifi and outlets for phone charging. The squash soup with toasted pumpkins was the BEST!!! And the the cafe latte and bacon BLT on tomato bread was perfect, plenty of bacon. Service was fast. It wasn't very crowded until around 12:30 pm when I left. My only issue is the prices are too high for what you get in size and quantity of food, otherwise a great place for a meal or fancy coffee & a relatively quiet place to sit and relax, highly recommended!”
