“We went to Angela's for brunch on a Saturday morning. It gets busy so it's best to come early. The food was great! We shared the shrimp ceviche and both had huevos rancheros. Which we enjoyed every bites of it all. We also had a coffee and an Agua de Jamaica. The staff were super friendly. The restaurant was clean and felt super cozy. We will definitely come by again!“
“I frequent this place and another similar fusion restaurant nearby and I will say that this is definitely the more consistent of the two, albeit a bit pricier. Most of their menu items are quite delicious and the rice entrees also come with a side of miso soup, but I find some of the more Korean entrees very heavy in plain veggies and lacking in salt, which makes them a bit more bland than I'm used to from other places. I really enjoy the Coreanos Bowl and their quesadillas, and would recommend them if you are looking to give this place a try.“
“Had a great night here our last night in Boston! Fantastic food. Definitely try the steak fajitas--tender and nuanced flavors! The drinks were even better! We had the Margarita Cosmica, Atomico, and Charro. And best of all was the attentive service. Marco, who designed the drinks clearly loves what he is doing and was so generous in sharing his knowledge.“
“Exceptional food, service and vibe! My friends and I went to Burro Bar for the first time on Sunday. The food was so tasty. It was well-seasoned, fresh and well proportioned. My favorite dishes include the shrimp tacos, nachos de la casa and the papas bravadas. To top off the food, the service was excellent and the music on point. Would highly recommend Burro Bar!“
“Maria's Taqueria has very cost-effective and tasty tacos in a convenient location! Portion sizes are great as well. Would definitely consider getting tacos, taco salad and burritos from here and the best part is that it wont break the bank! The service is nice and quick. Atmosphere has room to grow.Food - 12/20Service - 6/10Atmosphere - 3/10“
“The food was amazing. You could tell how much care was put into each dish. Everything tasted super fresh and locally sourced. Atmosphere was amazing as well. Only downside was the music kept skipping. We loved the music otherwise, definitely fit our vibe. 11/10 would recommend“
“What an incredible vibe at this place. Everywhere you look, there is something to see. Amazing decor, and the seating is very well spaced. The drinks were very good and well made. I had the non alcoholic mango mint. The food choices here are great and full of flavor. The service was also very good and attentive. A great place for brunch, dinner, and late night drinks and apps.“
“One of the best vegetarian burrito options I've ever had – the tofu adobo is decadently sauced, the rice is very well seasoned, and the add-ons were delicious as they were abundant. Can't recommend highly enough!Vegetarian options: Their tofu adobo option for protein is amazing – from there you can customize the burrito of your dreams! They also have a number of sides that are veg-friendly.“
“Yesterday, we had the Al Pastor and Birria tacos and both were delicious. The Birria came with jus for dipping and the hot sauce had a good flavor and some heat. All the staff were friendly and helpful when we were there. They have very reasonable prices and a good selection of Jarritos and other sodas. This will be a great addition to the south end and we will definitely be back!“
“Amazing food and great value!!! Such variety of delicious South American food in addition to Mexican food; had some great pupusas, pork rind, ceviche, and margaritas!! So flavorful and fresh! Also really spacious so would be great for a big group!“
“Go-to place on a night out or with guests. Staff is beyond hospitable and kind. Brings the old school corner bar vibes but with current drinks and food. Found this place after looking for tacos post living in TX and now it’s our favorite place to spend the night (or a boozy brunch). Start off with a classic marg and chips, then cruise through the bubbly mixed drinks. A Waking Up in Tijuana and churros cap off the night perfectly. Can’t say enough good things about this place and team.“
“Awesome place for some Mexican food in Boston. When it comes to tortas in Boston, choices are pretty limited, so this was a nice fine. The chips and guacamole are nice, and the salsa isn't bad. The torta campechana was nice, though next time I think I'll try the tenoch instead. The torta was a great size, and was wrapped nicely (so, easy to eat). The inside of the restaurant is on the small side, so while you might find a place to sit, you might need to go somewhere else to eat.“
“Great food. We ordered fish tacos, grilled shrimp bowl, veggie enchiladas, and a bean and cheese burrito. Everything was excellent and the price was great. I will certainly come back many times. This is now my favorite place for tacos and burritos in the Boston area. This review is about takeout, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance.“
“Team dinner in a cozy nook. Food and service outstanding. Nice ambiance except we were by a speaker and the music was loudenough to make it hard to hear people talking at the table, Fun starter of 'smoking' grapefruit juice ice with a douse of tequila on top. Fun ending with cotton candy at the end. Somewhat reasonably priced. Would go back!“
“A small little spot for a quick Mexican bite. Portions are good. I'd hoped my burrito came with some chips on the side like most other places do, but at least the burrito was filling. Had my burrito had just 15-20% more steak I would've given max stars. All in all still very good. I placed my order in English and my parents were able to place theirs in Spanish just as easily thanks to the bilingual staff. It's a small thing, but I appreciate it!“
“I would recommend it as its decent Mexican in Acton (similar par as Bueno Y Sano). But they have messed up our takeout order (and a friends order); gave incorrect childrens meal and forgot the chips. When I called they were adamant no mistake was made which didn’t sit well with me, but they did agree to refund me in the end. We’ve had overall better experiences at other Chipotle-esque places. Not sure we will be back. Hopefully these are just growing pains. But triple check your takeout order before leaving!“
“Very small space, but the decor is cute. There are only three tables, so not good for large parties. I recommend taking to-go. The bulgogi beef burrito is my favorite. The sauces are good, and it is filling. I haven’t been here in years, so I am not sure if the quality is the same.“
“we had the best tamarindo margaritas and queso fundido. however we were a group of 9 they charge us a fee to use the restaurant. I asked for my check early. they charge me the group fee. I denied to pay it and o e staff member said he will pay for it. I said if u want than he insulted me. I paid and left. so be careful ask if there are fees.“
“We stopped by here because everything around us was closed at 10PM. The drinks and food were awesome. They have a big selection of cocktails you would never think of trying. Their deviled eggs were so good and the bratwurst sausage was delish. Service was really great. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. We came back for a second round the next day!“
“fantastic food and service, speedy ordering process, and friendly staff! you can't ask for a better experience. there are sooo many options to choose from and everything is fresh and delicious. i got the torta and was so happy to find out that you can add plantains as a topping! that and everything is very affordable. perfect for our group, as we had a timed museum exhibit to get to at the mfa. all around, i would highly recommend mamacita!“
“Absolutely loved it here. The wait staff are super friendly and Nelson the manager was super courteous. They went the extra step or three in presenting my Espresso Martini. Beyond the presentation, the taste was top notch too. They also were kind to take my request for a Tamarind margarita which wasn’t on the menu. I finished off with an impeccable Tres Leches cake that was the right amount of perfect. Definitely recommend a visit or three to Cabana in Eastie.“
“Came here for the vegan options and was satisfied. Pleasantly surprised even. Love that they label the vegan items on the menu and that their refried beans are vegan. I got a bowl and my hubby got a burrito, and we left happy. ??Parking: Parking in the neighborhood is extremely limited. I recommend taking public transportation.“
“If I'm disappointed in anything, it's that I didn't try Bono sooner. I live nearby and kept putting off trying it, but I'm so glad I did. Workers are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is incredible. They have some of the best pupusas I've ever had on the east coast, and all of their birria items are so delicious. Highly recommend!“
“This may be the best Mexican restaurant in Boston. Do yourself a favor and try this place! Had the nopalitos, fajitas, tostada, and sike marga + chips and salsa. It was all fantastic! Our server was also very attentative, nice, and let us try a bite of several things we were considering. Thank you for a great meal!“
“My favorite spot in Boston! The staff is incredibly friendly, particularly Daniel who works in the front. The vibe is great! If there is one thing I would change, it would be the music. For a Mexican restaurant there is little to no Latin music played on the weekends. That is a vibe/feeling that is missing from Seaport and Borrachito has it all to become that spot! Lastly, Brek’s sets on the weekends are the best“
“We catered every single flavor The Nada Cart had to offer for a party and the process was extremely easy. The response time for the order was quick and it was delivered on time. The empanadas are absolutely delicious! Everyone were impressed how good the empanadas are and asked where did I got it from!!! The fillings were very generous and you can taste the flavor in every bite. There empanadas are definitely my go to. Looking forward to cater more in the future.“
“Food was great. We ordered a few different things; nachos, biria tacos, and a few different pupusas. Only issue with the food was the pupusas were very mushie and fell apart instantly (still delicious). Another little issue was, there was a group of what seemed to be homeless people who were in and out throughout our dining. They kept saying they were waiting for their food, bit it was obvious they were not. All that aside, I really liked everything.“
“Was lucky to randomly check this place out and meet the owner/chef Vance. Nice guy who gave me a brief history of the joint and told me about the Pastelitos, aka empanadas. So I tried the chicken empanada and it was DELICIOUS! My margarita was Strong too. Check this place out!“
“Went to the South End location in Boston. It's a small venue but, perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends. The plates are kind of more like tapas than actual meal dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our bartender was amazing she did such a wonderful job multi-tasking. Would recommend “
“The best Mexican restaurant in a long time. Great view and an extremely nice waiter. Wow. Unfortunately we're just on vacation and won't be able to get back to work anytime soon. But I think it would be worth a visit just because of the restaurant. Thank you.“
“Passion fruit margarita was delicious and balanced. The cheese and squash Pupusa was fresh and hot. They are quite large and a great value. I also sampled a taco dorado which was also delicious. This place is a fabulous gem in the neighborhood! I sat at the bar and service was prompt and friendly. Loved the free chips and salsa while waiting.“
“I came here for an event so it was just our group there. We sat at the bar and one of our party got their food a bit later but it was hectic having a big group there rather than usual diners. As a Texan, paying $7 for a taco is a bit crazy but these were genuinely delicious. My favorite was the Queso Carne because of the onion and bacon jam. However, the meat in both tacos was tender and flavorful. The food was delicious and it seems like a cute spot to visit again!“
“Eating chimichanga for the first time. Seasoned just right, the roast meat was great, as were the beans. Detail of the sour cream on top of the lettuce added the finishing touch. Food well prepared, 5 minutes very well waited. Very simple but extremely welcoming environment. Excellent service, very friendly.“
“Food was absolutely outstanding, especially for a fast walk-in place. We got the steak burrito, steak quesadilla and chicken salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful and full of fresh veggies. Worth getting out of the tourist area for this place.“
“Must eat here! Food and service are both excellent. The best hands down in house made guacamole and salsa. Pupusas, sweet plantains and the Montanero are personal favorites. The whole menu is great and you can't go wrong with any of these dishes. If you are looking for delicious, authentic food, then look no further than Taqueria El Carrizal!“
“Best mexican food in Boston. We tried the quesadillas and the tortas, both are amazing. We only got a photo of the beef torta though. But the cochinita pibil and steak quesadillas were great too.The service was amazing. They went above and beyond and were super friendly.Incredible food, atmosphere and service. 10/10 would reccommend. I recommend dining in, the decoration and vibes are great too.“
“Just had Chilacates for the first time, ordered the Shrimp Burrito and it was absolutely delicious. A great alternative to Chipotle and the prices are similar too. Picked it up so I didn't have any experience with the service, but it looks like a fun place inside. I'll definitely get it again soon.“
“One of my favourite places to have Mexican food in Boston. Their burrito bowls are really good and are quite cheap as well for the amount that you get. You can also add extra meat for additional 2$, will recommend it to everyone who is near North Station.“
“I’m not a fan of eating at the same restaurant but this is one of the very few exceptions. I dream about the nachos and veggie chili. I have never once had a bad experience and the margaritas? My absolute favorite margaritas , especially the strawberry basil flavor. If you want a margarita that feels like drinking two in one get the nitro margarita! There’s something for everyone and the staff is so kind“
“Service is both friendly and efficient, but what I'm really here to say is that this is the best lunch value in the entire Longwood/Fenway area, and a fantastic vegan option. Built my own small bowl today: brown rice, fajita veggies, roasted broccoli, corn salsa, tofu, black beans, jalapeno salsa--10 bucks. This is an extraordinary value, and I feel well fed but not grossly full after.“
“We had two kinds of pupusas -- cheese and pork. Delicious, just like mom used to make, if mom were a Salvadoran. The food that I didn't have looked great too. Can't wait to go back and try other items. Very little atmosphere -- just the way I like it!“
“Love this place, must-visit if you’re in the area. Was there this past Saturday at 11:45AM just before the Boston College football game. Walked right in and ordered. If you go after the game lines are literally out the door. My favorite is the caramelos but they might be too spicy for some.“
“It was crowded and we had no reservations. The hostess was able to accommodate us really quick. The food is really good. From the apps to the entrees as a group we all really happy with our meal. Our waitress was terrific and made sure we didn't need anything. If we're back in East Boston we will stop in“
“Doesn't get much better than Chilacates on Mission Hill. Great food, though prices seem to increase upon every visit. It's hard to turn down a papas con chorizo torta from here at any cost. Long waits can sometimes be a bother, especially when the store isn't busy, but ordering ahead of time solves everything.“
“My favourite burrito place in Boston (yes I like it better than Anna's). It gets very busy, but the staff are very friendly and understanding and try their best to keep up. The spicy mole chicken burrito is an absolute must-have, the carnitas is a close second. All in all very authentic tasting food. Good value as well, they don't skimp out on ingredients. It's a shame they're only open during lunch hours.“
“Had to wait in line for about 20 minutes I promise you you will love this burrito or whatever else they put in your plate. Normally, I write on here some negative reviews because I’m the Karen of Google reviews but today is a new day. This is the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life when you come to Boston EAT here.“
“I stumbled upon Naco Taco truck when I was waiting for an appointment on Newbury Street that I arrived early for. I ordered a couple of tacos not so much because I was hungry but just because I needed to kill time. I was blown away with the flavor, freshness and value.I ended up calling and asking if they did private truck rentals - and sure enough they did! I was STOKED at how well Naco Taco went over with my party. It was a High School Graduation for 150 people and EVERYONE raved about the food: Greatest thing was, hard to tell who loved it more..... the kids or the adults! The Cod and Shrimp Tacos were surprise hits but all of them and the sides were amazing. A bin of iced Jarittos and other sodas was a nice touch along with warm, friendly service....what more could you ask for?I guess the only disappointment was how good the food was. I mean, my grill and meats are usually the star of the show.....and I'm not lying - they were amazing that day LOL - but most of the props went out to Naco Taco.I will definitely use them again for a future function and if you are in the neighborhood of the truck on Newbury, their restaurant in Cambridge or the food hall in Boston...I suggest you run and not walk to get there - just great food!“
“The inventive cocktails and extensive tequila selection add to the excitement, creating the perfect backdrop for a fun night out with friends. With its lively ambiance and mouthwatering cuisine, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar promises an unforgettable dining experience that keeps you coming back for more.“
“Great little spot in East Boston for quality Mexican and Salvadorean dishes at reasonable prices. I loved the perfectly seasoned steak tacos. Their staff was very friendly and helpful when I ran into a problem with online ordering.Parking: Finding parking may be difficult during lunch and dinner hours, there's streetside parking on adjacent streets.“
“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.“
