Firstly the staff accommodated my last minute request to change my booking from a table of 4 to a table of 6 and also the most important part …. The food was great! I ordered make my own board and my wife and her friends ordered Pizza and pasta …. All were delicious and the service was prompt, courteous and professional….. I would highly recommend

“Most of the individual restaurants at Time Out are worthy of 3 or 4 stars, but the concept as a whole of an upscale food hall with local restaurants is fantastic. Its really nice inside and I love the events like the vintage market that occur in and around the market.

The restaurant quality is highly inconsistent. Not sure what it is about the food hall that makes the food sometimes mediocre, maybe its hard to adjust a restaurant menu to this sort of setting. However, theres so many options and its really fun to pick food to eat, so I still have to give Time Out 5 stars!“

However, there was very little meat and a lot of bone which was disappointing. The fennel salad was fresh and light. They paired well together. Wish it was a bit warmer in winter as no matter where you seat there is always a cold air flow hitting you from somewhere but that's minor anyway.Had food once from the late menu and it was very good. My finance goes for the roasted chicken and never finished because of such generous portions. The blackened fish tacos you must try. And we can't leave without eating the chocolate moose. ? “First time at The Merchant - won't be our last! Great beer selection - I had a red ale from Vermont that was new to me, excellent! And my burger was perfectly prepared - medium temperature, delicious brioche bun, perfect cheddar cheese and bacon, and their signature sauce was good but they put too much of it on. I'd get it on the side next time. Fries - terrific! Dessert was the cobbler of the day - peach. Delicious! And I am allergic to nuts. But my wife loves candied walnuts - the topping for this dish. They brought us the walnuts on the side, the cobbler baked in its individual pan, with excellent maple ice cream, and an extra plate. We split it, and my wife put the walnuts on her piece and I had mine without. Now that is service! Our server was really great! Personable, just the right attentiveness, knew the menu, made good suggestions, and was just a pleasant and fun person to look after us. Like I said - we will be back!“

“I have been here 3-4 times of the last three years and every time has been memorable and remarkable. The seasonal set menu is so artfully crafted and represents an incredible attention to detail. Tonight the first course was a crispy slab of watermelon covered with a beautiful tuna tartare with umeboshi and sea bean vinaigrette. The contrasting textures, flavors were mind blowing while the uniformity of color and artful plating felt so special. I have found each dish perfectly salted and seasoned. Can’t say enough good things, will continue to make reservations here for special occasions.“

“The wait staff is incredibly friendly. We heard the onion rings were heavenly. We were not disappointed. However the salad we ordered and shared was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. I think it was the Hot Cold Chicken Salad. Absolutely delicious! After 10 pm the sandwiches are half price and they all looked delicious too!!“

“Lucky’s lounge was a great experience. Fun music, good drinks and tasty everyday comfort foods. The place is lit with red lights and is semi underground. Fish and chips were solid. Salmon plate was well worth the money, the piece of salmon was huge. Chicken quesadilla was packed. Pork bao buns slightly overdone but still ok. Drinks had good flavors and fair amount of alcohol. Recommend the Ghost pepper paloma if you like cocktails with a spicy profile. For the portions you get everything is priced appropriately. Parking in area is difficult, street parking is resident only after 6p, some small parking lots around, would look into a spot booking service (eg spothero etc). It is loud so not the best spot if youre expecting quiet/intimate. Great for a friend’s outing, fun night out.“
