This place is French in a good way. We were greeted warmly and seated by the large windows overlooking Mass Ave. The place exudes casual elegance -- candlelight, brick, the ubiquitous wine display. Magically, the waitstaff was there when you needed them and in the background when you did not. We dined on duck confit, scallops, and homemade tagliatelle. While Deuxave is not your standard quick and easy dinner spot, it is the perfect location for an upscale romantic dinner or celebration. It's suitable for a group gathering but probably hits the romantic dinner date vibe best. The cocktails are perfectly made to your preference. I've had done of the best martinis in Boston there. The service is impeccable and all of the front of house staff is knowledgeable and seems committed to you having a wonderful dining experience.

We came in for a special occasion and my wife and I left quite happy with our experience. The duck breast, the cocktails, the mood and most of all the service (thank you Kylie W) was top notch.There is also a robust wine selection if that’s more your preference. Recommend for a special date night!
