ASTA is a world class dining experience and a “must visit” whenever I’m in Boston. The dining room is relaxed and casual but service is exceptional. The plant forward menu features classic French preparations with a Scandanavian influence. The ingredients are well sourced and of the highest quality. A great tasting menu and dining experience in Boston. There aren’t a ton of true tasting menus with wine pairings in Boston, but this is definitely one of my favorites.Highly recommend sitting at the counter tops if they’re available, quite enjoyable to watch the chefs work, plus it just makes it easier to talk to your partner if you’re a group of 2. I really like reading at Asta. The service is warm and attentive (it's been the same staff the whole time we've been coming which says a lot).The food is inventive and seasonally focused.They host a vegan adventure in January, and the rest of the year serve an omnivore menu with a vegan option which you can reserve ahead.The service is prix fixe multi course menu which changes continuously throughout the year as the seasons change.They've been very good in accommodating food allergies.Vegetarian...read full review
