“As always a very pleasant evening at “The Arms”! It is St. Patrick's Day weekend so it was very noisy and crowded in the lobby when we got there! Once inside the restaurant the sound level decreased somewhat. We requested Lois as our server and she did a great job! The food was good. My only complaint is that the corned beef was sliced very thick. However, it was tasty!“

And I disagree with other reviewers comparing Blackstrap to places in the Carolinas and Texas. I didn't expect the place to be internationally competitive. It's good for Boston and worth a visit.“

“Great place for food and drinks in Boston. The food quality is much better than your average food court and alcohol is available. It's not as large as the one in Lisbon but there's still a decent variety of food choices. We had lunch there prior to a Red Sox game and went there for supper after the game. The place was not overly busy both times so it was easy to find seating.Overall, we prefer the Time Out Market over the High Street Place food hall downtown. At Time Out Market your food is served on real plates with proper cutlery and the beer comes in a glass. At High Street Place, your food is served in takeout containers with plastic cutlery and draft beer in a plastic cup.“

“It's a treat to have tea here. The space is lovely and the service was exemplary! The food was delicious, very fresh and tasty combinations. We were served salmon mousse and lobster salad small sandwiches that would have been superb had they been on a lighter bread. All the other tea sandwiches were fabulous (egg salad, cucumber, and a mini roast beef in Yorkshire pudding) Scone with Devonshire cream and lemon curd was great and desserts were scrumptious. Individual pots of tea from a varied selection of teas rounded out our meal. I particularly appreciated the tea service - generous, hot, warmed milk if you take milk, "one lump or two" ?. Altogether a very nice time. A tad pricy compared to many but well worth it for a special time.“

“The oysters are amazing!! Came in with my dad, and had one of the best meals ever! We ordered A Tale of Two Oysters, and is the way to go. This way we both could try all 8 of the day’s oysters. Hailey was our server, and was absolutely amazing. She brought over paper menus to make it easier, as my father didn’t have his phone with him. Raw beef tartare with delicious with quail egg cracked on top. Crudo was decent but I wouldn't get it again. My brother in law is a pizza aficionado, and he said this pizza was amazing. “Came here for dinner with the family after being recommended to us and we knew this will be our go to spot! We couldn’t of been more pleased and surprised with the quality of the food. The portion sizes were great and so reasonably priced. Everything we ordered just kept getting better! The mussels where a large portion with the best toasted bread to dunk in such a flavorful broth. We tried the crunchy pork tacos which were great. Kids had the chicken fingers with curly fries and home made Mac n cheese both loved them. The fish n chips was a great entree to split after the apps and had so much flavor along with the Jersey fries that you couldn’t stop eating. Finished this unbelievable meal with ice cream for the littles and the screwball desert for us which was a homemade waffle with ice cream in a whisky Carmel sauce. Staff was friendly and great! Already picking out the menu and items to try the next time which will probably be tomorrow!!“

They gave us a seat by the door, which was appreciated and the service to the food was hitting on all marks.The one thing I hold back from giving a 5 star review on is that we were dying of heat -- it felt like we were eating in a sauna. I'm not sure if it was because they didn't turn on the AC or if we just had an unfortunate seat that wasn't receiving any of that cool air. Impeccably glamorous, down to the textured walls, but still a bit cheeky and fun due to the speakeasy style entrance. Cocktails? Complex, interesting, and strong - Bijou, SVD, Espresso Martini, and Irish Coffee were all on point. Service? Attentive without being overbearing, team service at it's best. Steaks? Both the Ribeye and NY strip were perfectly cooked and meltingly delicious, enhanced by the herbed butter served on top and the house demiglace. Bone marrow? Just perfect, the onion jam is the right counterpoint to its richness. Mac and Cheese? On point. Bread and butter? The butter... how do they make something as simple as seasoned whipped butter this magical... who cares, they just do, just eat it. It's not a cheap dinner but isn't at all overpriced for what it is. But the real winner of the night were the two homemade cookies we took home. I went in knowing it was pricey and upscale which was fitting for the special occasion. Let me just say we had an absolutely incredible night. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. He and Yasmin made this a night to remember and I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. We will be coming back for sure and recommend Ocean Prime to anyone who is looking to have more of fancy/upscale experience in the Seaport. It was perfection!“

Her menu is based on fruits and veg that are in season, and rotates frequently. Whenever I come in to pick up an order, she always takes the time to point out new vegan items on the menu, tell me about her plans, and even chat for a few minutes, all while she's prepping orders. The bread is famous for a reason. It's versatile and so comforting! “Nice rooftop views, good for a group dinner. Limited menu with pretty standard American food. Had the onion dip, jalapeño-bacon croquettes, & fish tacos. The tacos were meh but I'm rarely impressed by tacos. Liked the dip itself but didn't like how we given normal waffle fries with the dip rather than the potato waffles I had seen in pics. The croquettes were my favorite--very cheesy with a kick of spice. Friendly and fast service.“

Our only complaint is that the restaurant opened its doors to a long line of walk-ins whom they seated first ahead of people (like us) with reservations. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. The hostess apologized while seating us that there weren't any menus left to give us when we were seated. Then, after our waitress enticed us to order one of the sfizi specials, she came back to tell us that they were already sold out because the walk-ins at the bar had grabbed them all up. Wouldn't it make sense to seat those with reservations first?“
