About Black Lamb

Black Lamb, a cozy and casual restaurant in Boston, offers a delightful dining experience with attentive and friendly staff. The food is served quickly, and the lamb dishes, such as the lamb rib and lamb burger, feature a nice sweet and salty profile. The fennel salad is fresh and light, complementing the meal well. The 50/50 martini has a pleasant salty taste, and the Moscow Mule is a standout cocktail. The restaurant also serves great heirloom tomato salad, oysters, and a delicious burger, with exceptional service. The atmosphere is intimate, whether in the back room or at any other seat, creating a welcoming environment. Visitors often feel cared for by the staff and look forward to returning for more of the tasty food and friendly service.

The food is consistently delicious, with fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes. The smashburger and brussels sprouts are particular standouts. The service is attentive and welcoming, with servers like Maddy and Hazel providing top-notch service and making guests feel truly valued. The atmosphere is lively, with a bar area that can be a bit noisy, but the overall experience is terrific. Guests recommend arriving earlier for a quieter dining experience.

Came here for the matchbooks which were at the host table and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! The corn bread with honey whipped butter was DELECTABLE !!! The truffle Parmesan fries were okay but tbh could do with out the truffle add on. Also ordered the lamb ribs and oysters which were good. The waiter was so kind and friendly and helped me make a custom lemonade cranberry drink. We sat outside and the vibes were incredible. Would recommend !

We started with the cornbread, and as previous reviewers noted, it was awesome with its salty-sweet crust and moist interior. For entrees,...read full review
Great spot, excellent food and priced like it. No backs on the barstools, I wanted to spend more time and money but just very uncomfortable sadly for the price point.
