“This is a late review, but I just have to brag about how cool this restaurant is. My husband and I had just flown in, and this was the first place we stopped. The food was amazing and the drink menu was top notch! This restaurant really kicked off our trip in the best way.“

“I have been to many functions at Anthony’s, Albert is always on his A game. He gives back to the City of Malden like no one else. I have been involved in many sports organizations in Malden and can tell you first hand, he is a gem! I have also been to weddings, funerals, political functions land the food has always been excellent. On a side note the people of the city of Malden, will miss his son Craig on the Malden city council!“

“Was just here for lunch again delicious as always but as important in a time when a lot of sub shops are inventing shortages and there costs rising to steal from there customers subs going for 17-18$ that we’re always 10-11$ before dishonest sub shops took advantage of the pandemic to steal the Big A still has delicious food at great prices no theft from Nick he’s an honest broker as always I’ve been coming here 47 yrs maybe 🤔 ya 47 and Nick has always been dedicated to good food at honest prices and the community I grew up one street over he’s never changed the product hasn’t changed heck the prices have hardly changed I think when I was 7 we payed 5.25$ fir an Italian sub now 37-38 yrs later it’s 9$ 🤷🏻‍♂️it’s so nice to deal with an honest man and a consistent product thanks again Nick my chicken parm Was amazing as usual and I can still pay my rent lol“

“Incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. Every dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the scotch egg and the duck if you go in March. Cocktails were great as well. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale without being stuffy. They were also very kind and accommodating around my wife's rare food allergy. Just an amazing meal and experience all around.

I was anticipating an amazing wagyu beef burger given the $35 price tag, but it was very ordinary and forgettable. It was cooked well-done even though I asked for medium-well, and it had absolutely no flavor, not even a hint of salt and pepper. The fries were dry and not very good either. But the corn bread was absolutely delightful and probably some of the best I’ve ever had, and the pita bread with hummus and pimento cheese was delicious, as well. Overall, about 4 stars considering the appetizers saved the day, as the wagyu burger was a flop.“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“This was sincerely our favorite activity while in Boston. Bonnie expertly guided us through the meal, and her attention to detail enhanced the experience. They can accommodate a variety of diets; the vegetarian option was absolutely delicious, and clearly well curated. Entire tea service was charming.“

“First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

“Great takeout spot. Fantastic bread and pastries, delicious sandwiches.

Disco egg & cheese: one of the best egg & cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Perfect little focaccia loaf, egg yolk that's soft but not runny, and some good cheddar. Pickled carrots are the cherry on top.

Earl gray scone: you can taste the earl gray throughout, nice thin but brown crust, soft inside. Perfect scone.

Cornbread muffin: Great cornbread with a nice bit of kosher salt on the top. Good top to bottom. My 13 year old ate it in no time.

House-made cardamom soda: Delicious! was gone in no time.

The owner makes everything herself and she's got some serious skills.“

“The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! Our server was top-notch,very attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. We are looking forward to our visits this summer during the Red Sox games.“

“This is a mixed bag for me. Tiny place and basic service. I’ve been 3 times, different menu each time. Two of the three times, I found almost all the dishes delicious and interesting (I always have the omnivore menu) m. One time was just bland all around and one dish was very unbalanced and too acidic. It’s BYOB, which I really like (the wine is always excellent, ha ha). I’m so done with QR code menus though.“

Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“This was my Daughter's birthday weekend and we wanted to Take her to one of the places that Guy Fieri Visited for DDD...making memories. What we got was so much more. Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. “We arrived late to Boston and needed a place to grab a bite. Their kitchen was still open so we ordered some food and drinks. The food and drinks were delish. The atmosphere was fairly lively. It’s a small footprint so having a few groups of people in there made the atmosphere pretty loud. Not a bad thing, just a notable observation. Overall the Franklin Cafe fit our need with good late night food and drinks.“
