“About a month ago I had a pick up order for the BBQ chicken wrap w/. Side of fries; the wrap was fantastic. Surpassed expectations, food when ready for me when I arrived. Cool looking sports bar, plenty or space and TV's if you've got a group. Clean looking place, plenty of parking. I will be ordering again no doubt.“
“This review is for the roast beef and roast beef only. A while back, I fell down the rabbit hole of an r/Boston thread that debated where to get roast beef and Mike's ranked as one of the top places particularly for its authenticity and value (apparently, Redditors are staunch in their belief that North Shore places should be avoided, or anywhere else that requires a fork and knife to eat the sandwich). Anyway, we pulled up on our way to Costco and ... my expectations were not high. It seemed like a typical fried food joint right across the street from the Encore.* Well, this is a lesson to never judge a book by its cover because the sandwich was phenomenal. There's a reason why that sign looks super vintage, it's been around for decades. We got the super beef three way (BBQ, mayo, and cheese), and after the first bite, I wished we had each gotten our own sandwich. The onion roll was super chewy and pillowy, the beef tender, the sauces combining in perfect harmony. UGH. I'm not a beef person at all but I could've eaten the whole thing myself. If I'm in the area next time, I might take it to go - there's not much seating and you're just looking out at a parking lot and the street. PARKING: Just a warning that if you pull in from Broadway and park on the front-facing side, you may have to back out onto Broadway, which gets pretty busy. There are spots further along the other side. *I looked up later to find that Mike's was sold last year for $5.5 million to the same development group that owns the Encore. Hope it sticks around!“
“I liked Champions Cafe but have to say it is definitely a "hole in the wall" style joint. The service was very friendly (they had a really beautiful, nice girl tending the bar so I'm partial) and although it reminded me of a similar style bar in Everett down the street that pissed me off (I'm not naming names) it was much quieter and seemed to cater to the younger crowd rather than just in your face townies with their whiskey and cigarette breath. I would return and seeing as I can walk there from my house I will do so soon.“
“We have just experienced breakfast there about 4 times with my mate and once with family. We LOVE everything about it! The staff is professional and courteous, and caring. The food is everything you ever wanted, the dish size is gracious. They also offer bottomless hot chocolate tea and coffee for dining in experiences. The blueberry French toast so good I also love the side of their amazing calvosa and I love the scrambled eggs with provolone cheese. they also offer a bar experience in the evening although they're closed in the afternoon and I have not experienced that yet however I've been taking a look at the food and drink list. I'm going to give it a shot soon definitely a place to try out. Would be a perfect place to go after a night at The Encore casino.“
“Wow! I really love Winners! If you're looking for the ultimate restaurant bar lounge experience this is the best place in all of New England and I've been everywhere. The Peruvian cerviche is unbelievable and the cocktail selection is the best!!!“
“Happened upon the Square Deli when a friend were in Chelsea for a medical test. OMGOODNESS. It was amazing. The menu was huge and so were the sandwiches. We had a Reuben and Paisano with lotsa fresh ingredients including yummy fresh bread. Served with homemade chips and pickles. Enough for 2 meals or to split if we agreed on the sandwich, lol. The owner was SO nice and friendly and accommodating. We opted for take out containers for another meal and the chocolate chip (homemade & huge) again with a great balance of soft in the middle and crispy on edges. They have been working on their cookies for a while, so they say, I think it's by far the best cookie I have ever had! hopefully don't have to go back for medical tests but would definitely field trip for their pizza next which has won many awards.“
