“In Boston during FB season and searched for a Packer Bar - BansheeBar kept showing up and when asking around they were the #1 recommended place. “We were visiting from the UK and had fantastic experiences at the Elephant & Castle pub which adjoined our hotel, The Club Quarters. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had a great English pub feel (especially when watching the Champions league final) . The food we had was very good, especially the 4 mini pies.
What really made the visit stand out for us was the outstanding service from Aisling. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot on, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much. Shout out to Jimmy behind the bar too.
If you're looking for a great pub with nice food, a great selection of drinks, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service, I highly recommend the Elephant & Castle. We would love to come back one day!“

“If I could give 10 stars for customer service, I would! Matt and Kevin (Bakes) are fantastic bartenders. Bakes, especially, was professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He knew the customers by name and they knew him. This superior service made overpriced hotel food worth it, lol. Also, the cobb salad with salmon was divine!“

“My wife and I were in Boston for 3 days this weekend , and we found this place on our second stop. As soon as we walked in there, we felt the amazing atmosphere of all the people around. We also met some amazing people who we invited to sit with us because the place was a 100% full. They happen to be from Australia, even though the guy was originally from Boston. We had an amazing dinner and appetizers on the first night there. And then the next day we came back for lunch and had an amazing bartender named Ro. And if that wasn't enough, we came back Sunday morning for breakfast. as far as I can see, this is the only place to go if you are in downtown Boston, hands down. We also loved the live music. “Hidden gem! Classic bar with insanely good cocktails and food but keeping it real. Beet salad could compete with any high end restaurant. Smash burger and fries - no words. Oh pickle plate is a must - classic sweet to the unexpected root veg and snow pea mix. Great beers new and old. The bartender Mike brings it. He's cool and chill and makes the best subtle recommendations. Great fun to talk with. Great music, great vibe. Already planing a trip back for the reuben. Simple menu done right.“

“Perfect little spot to go after the aquarium. In walking distance. My fiance and our little birthday girl came in from Wareham today. The birthday girl was fussy at first. But our server was fantastic. We sat outside. Beautiful little spot. Food was good. Service was quick. Prices were typical for the city area. And the server gave our birthday girl a miniature yellow rubber ducky which cheered her up quick 😊 Thanks for a lovely lunch Granary Tavern!!“

“Been here on a pinch between trains or busses several times. I never review shit. I came in today and just realized how much I appreciate this place. Always clean and friendly. Accessible beer selection. Buffalo Wings were my ideal Wings style. Sauce carried heat but full of flavor. Breaded and it works for that sauce.
Service was incredible. Was some locals and college kids present for sure. No blink of an eye, whole place was supreme.“

“This is a great neighborhood bar. While we didn't eat, we saw quite a few plates pass by and were very impressed. The drinks were great and the staff very friendly. Perfect spot to watch sports and especially the Detroit Lions as they have Lions watch parties for every game!“

Great atmosphere, decent food, cool bartender (Good luck with your wedding, dude!), interesting people, and as a bonus - attractive waitresses, a must for any decent bar. “Went for lunch because I wanted wings. They were fresh, cooked perfectly and well sauced. Classic buffalo flavor. My coworkers both had the grill chicken sandwich and both gave a resounding thumbs up. I feel like this place would be a good hang at night.“
