“We found this Charming Tavern on our Travels through Quincy.The Staff was Friendly and Welcoming.We ordered Drinks and a couple of appetizers Buffalo Chicken loaded Nachos and loaded Tater Tots ? with Smoked Bacon ? everything was Delicious ? and the Drinks were Ice Cold ???.For Entrees: a couple of Burgers? with fries ? and a Reuben Sandwich with fries ? which were very Tasty ?.Great Place to watch Sports Games with a Cold Drink and Delicious Food ?.The Service was Excellent ?I Highly Recommend!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“This is a no frill local spot with good apps (try the various eggrolls), decent prices, a good beer selection, touchtunes juke box, and pub trivia. There is also parking in a lot next door behind 7/11. It's a local institution that is consistent and doesn't disappoint.“
“Bartender on Mondays is amazing. 10/10 hot red head with a little bit of cinnamon spice. Almost thought I was at hooters when I walked in. and that man working the bar on Monday days? “While Cronins can be characterized as a "dive bar", it is a great place to grab some very good food for a very reasonable price! This last visit we had an order of chicken wings and stuffed clams for appetizers and then shared a bar pizza. All were very well done. In the past we have had the steak tips, shepherds pie as well as other specials.“
“I love going to this place, and we always enjoy the food, service, except today I request a glass of water with lemon, and the waitress brought me a plastic cup with water and lemon, sorry I don'tdrink water in a plastic cup, so nicely I ask her to change it to a glass , and she was polite, no problem, but next to us was sitting two elderly couple that since we walk in they were very upset because we sit in the next table, and as I was asking the young lady for a regular glass ,this older lady was talking trush about me, and the fellow who was sitting next to me though that because we are Spanish,we couldn't speak English, he respond the lady that Ibwas trush, I respect people, we are educated, and I didn't said what they deserve to be told ,because my parents educated me, I was raised here in Massachusetts, and probably have more manners than this old cauple, they show their true color, racist, think they own every space in the earth, shame on them, if they are so afraid of Spanish people they should not go out of their shell, I been living in Massachusetts for 55 yrs. I don't need to feel uncomfortable in any public place because of few pigeons that cannot leave at home their racism, they are ridiculous, we are in 2023 United State is not only for morons like them, the restaurant is nice, and service is great, probably this young girl is new, don't know what happen, she was nice , but like always there are people that shoyld mind there own business.Parking: Plenty of parking..“
“Absolutely great spot in Downtown Quincy! Pictured is the pork shank, but everything we had was delicious. The prices are also an amazing value as we each had an entree, two drinks, dessert and the bill was only $84! Will definitely be back!!“
