You can waltz in and grab a seat at the bar and enjoy yourself a pint of Guinness and enjoy some friendly conversation. “Whenever we are in the mood for more American style fare, we think why go anywhere other than The Abbey because the food is always reliably delicious. Take a grilled chicken sandwich: omnipresent on local menus, yet only The Abbey makes this a moist and delicious generous meal every time. Love their truffle fries, and whatever creative daily listing they have. I have made fans of visitors as well. A local treasure.“

“Had my birthday celebration at Blackmoor today. Excellent experience all around. Large Beer and Cocktail list and the appetizers were amazing! I had the Cod and it was one of the best meals I've had. Excellent service and atmosphere and this delicious desert to top it off! Highly recommend!“

“Great indoors and outdoors space. The vibe is really nice and I love the amount of space they have to work with. I'd say the weird part of our experience was that the bartender was struggling to pull their IPA from the tap it was clearing a clogged line or a tapped keg as he was getting mostly foam but didn't try to rectify the situation he just kept letting it pour. So I wasn't too happy with my IPA for that reason. The guava sour was quite nice.

The pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable and would highly recommend this spot.

“My wife and I were in Boston for 3 days this weekend , and we found this place on our second stop. As soon as we walked in there, we felt the amazing atmosphere of all the people around. We also met some amazing people who we invited to sit with us because the place was a 100% full. They happen to be from Australia, even though the guy was originally from Boston. We had an amazing dinner and appetizers on the first night there. And then the next day we came back for lunch and had an amazing bartender named Ro. And if that wasn't enough, we came back Sunday morning for breakfast. as far as I can see, this is the only place to go if you are in downtown Boston, hands down. We also loved the live music. “Sat at the bar with a friend, Taylor was behind the bar. I wasnt sure what I was in the mood to drink so we discussed some options. Finally settled with Sangria. It was so yummy. I got a Sandwich. I feel like it was a little over cooked. Taylor apologized profusely. She was absolutely amazing through the whole transaction. I told her I hope to see her there more often.“
