“Lobster roll here is my favorite of the ones in the Boston area. Wish it had a bit more lobster to fill in the roll for the price but the interesting addition of tamarind and tobiko adds some nice enhancements to a standard lobster roll without taking away from the lobster flavor.

The chips were also surprisingly light and crunchy..I usually hate chips because they're too hard but somehow, these are light and crunchy without being super hard like cape cod potato chips.”

“I ordered takeout and got the salt and pepper wings, lobster rangoons and fire street noodles. The wings and rangoons were 10/10!! The noodles were good but the shrimp was pretty overcooked so would maybe try with a different meat next time.”

“I have been going here on occasion for years and realized I never left a review. Bread, pate, and everything is always fresh. The food and service quality have remained consistent over the year. Whenever I want banh mi and I am in the North Quincy / Wollaston area, this has always been my go to spot. It's also an easy, transit accessible spot, just a few minutes walk from North Quincy Red Line station and the nearby bus stop for the 210 Bus.”

“Never had soup dumplings before but I will say that I love them now. I went with my son and his girlfriend because he wanted soup dumplings. We had their signature soup dumplings, wonton soup, scallion pancakes and pan fried dumplings. Everything was FANTASTIC. I definitely recommend Shanghai Soup Dumplings. You will not be disappointed.”

“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!”

“I would recommend it because the food is good but when I ordered they said a half hour I had to sit outside and wait though. when I got there I had to wait outside almost a half hour because they only let one person in the building at a time. I got there about 45 minutes after ordering they told me five or 10 more minutes it took an additional almost 20 minutes. I sat outside in the freezing cold. I did not receive an apology or anything. This is the first time I have not tipped since Covid began.”

“One of the hidden gems in West Quincy. Pizza and food is fantastic! They have subs, wraps, pasta, calzones and complete meals and feature everything from seafood to ice cream. Prices are fair, not cheap but you get good portions and you definitely get your money's worth! Been going there for over 30 years now and have never been disappointed! Small eat in dining room, but they also have take out and local delivery. If you're in the Quincy area and you're hungry stop buy and enjoy some top notch food. Highly recommended!”

But Emily, the manager, and her father John, the owner, did something I truly didn't expect — they made it work anyway. They went out of their way to make sure we still got everything we needed, and on Easter Sunday of all days. That kind of customer care is rare. It would have been so easy for them to simply say "sorry, we're closed" — but instead they showed up for us in a way we won't forget. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Our pies were fresh and perfectly made, and the carrot birthday cake — a special request from the birthday boy himself — was absolutely stunning. Everything tasted like it was baked with real love and care, and it made our Easter celebration (and birthday!) that much more special. “It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!

There is an extensive drink menu, dinner menu, as well as lunch specials. You will definitely be able to find your favorite dishes here. We particularly love the shrimp dumplings, juicy pork dumplings, and the sweet lotus seed paste sesame balls. If you are looking for great dim sum or delicious dishes, try New Winsor Dim Sum & Bar.”

“My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.”

Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.”

The congee is so silky and smooth. It was delicious! The steam roll was fabulous that we ordered an extra one to go. Scallion pancake was nice and crispy. The barley lemongrass lemonade was interesting. I wasn’t expecting actual barley to be in there but it was. I only drank the liquid as I’m not a fan of mushy textures. Not sure what I was expecting but had I known it would be chunks of barley I probably would’ve opted for another beverage. The tongue bread is a shape of a tongue, hence the name. It was a dense bread with minimal flavor.

Casual ambiance with modern decor. Seating available for dining in and great food. I would definitely recommend this establishment and return when I’m in the area. Street parking only.”

“Oh K-Dog is a quick service food vendor within HMart Quincy that serves a wide variety of street foods and quick bites, such as Egg Toast, Korean corndogs, and soon to also serve Bingsu as well.

Service is very quick, the corndogs do take a while to come out though but makes sense as they make it fresh.

The corndogs are pretty good, lightly fried so the dough is crispy but still chewy. The fillings are decent for the price, and there is a wide arrangement of sauces and condiments to place that can enhance the flavor.”

“I ordered the waterworks juice which has beet juice and carrot juice, etc. It was fine. Priced about the same as any other juice shop, which is expensive. I also ordered the avocado toast, which was pretty much guacamole spread on toast. I got it on the sourdough bread which was nice and fresh. It tasted fine. Definitely overpriced at eight dollars for a slice of bread with some guacamole on it. Once again, the pricing is aligned with most other shops, but everything cost outrageous prices nowadays. I probably won’t go here again just because who the heck can afford eating out. It just seems everyone price gouges no matter where you go. You’ve got the money to spare. They do make a nice juice.”

The menu, it's funky in a good way. This isn't burgers and fries, it's Asian themed and inspired.

But it's the atmosphere that the funk is really on display. LED everything, in every cycling rainbow of colour.

The designer clearly had one vision, a psychedelic display of lighting in every possible flavour and option.

The Karaoke stage is wide and low, sk even if you did fall off it's not far. Wide screens provide a background and the lighting equipment is sure to out on a show even if you don't or can't.

And if you're just there for lunch, then be prepared to eat in a space more along the lines of an Ikea lit by a rave.

This place has more LED lighting than MSG and I for one, am here for it.

Seriously though, this may be overwhelming for most people. But if you like a club styled vibe while you have your noodles, absolutely go! And enjoy the karaoke. There's also outside seating with gorgeous views of 3A if you're so inclined as well.

Maybe bring sunglasses though.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean when I was there. So there's that as well. No funky lighting in there though.”
