“Delicious healthy food and very courteous and kind management and staff.Vegetarian options: My wife and I mostly eat a Vegetarian Cuisine here we both love eggplant and we try to purchase dishes made with eggplant often eggplant and tofuParking: Directly behind the building might be hard to get to your first time because of traffic congestion and one way traffic restrictions.“
“I'd say I'm pretty selective when it comes to chicken dishes and this place has the best hainanese chicken around! Also moo deng dish is tasty. Thai green tea isn't bad. Unfortunately, not a fan of the pad thai. Decently sized restaurant but it always looked half empty from the outside.“
“Ordered through delivery. Food got fast and hot with perfect portions. Well packaged. The pad Thai with pork was very meaty and delicious. The tom kah gai was spot on and had plenty of chicken and mushrooms. The panang neua was good, I have had better and worse. Crab rangoons were enjoyable when eaten with the pineapple sauce. It was a bit of a rough weekend, so a delicious Thai meal through delivery really hit the spot. Would recommend!“
“The food is amazing! We got everything extra spicy and it was good. They did a great job with the papaya salad that soaked up the sauce so well. We also got the chicken eggplant, pad se-ew, and tom yum noodle soup. Seating is limited but very comfortable. The waitress is super nice and so efficient especially when she had to manage all the takeouts as well.“
“Overall the food was excellent and the service great. The house fried rice may have been our favorite followed by the pineapple curry. Next time we'll get the chicken dumplings steamed instead of fried. The place is small and casual, and if you're too close to the door on a cold night, keep your coat on!“
“Came for a late dinner on my partner's birthday and had the best time! Such a fun environment and the friendliest staff around. I've been dreaming of the crab curry and crispy pork since we left. A cool cocktail list, too. Can't wait to come back!“
“Tastier than Nu Do Society that used to be at this location. This is basically a Thai soup restaurant. I've had Tom Yum so many times and theirs is possibly the most flavorful. I'm admittedly no expert on the boat noodle soup, but the one with the pork meatball was delicious, as was the meatball. The service is good, too. The stools are uncomfortable.“
“This is now one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Boston/Cambridge area! It's definitely a more elevated Thai restaurant but can be as casual as you want it to. The presentation of all the dishes were absolutely stunning, as well! Food: We ordered 8 dishes for about 6 people and were stuffed! The fire chicken dish is probably one of the most popular dishes as its presentation is so fun! The chicken hangs on a stick over some fire (hence the name). The chicken itself was soft with flavorful sauce and you can definitely taste the heat! Crispy duck was one of our appetizers and this duck was juicy and aromatic and the batter was delicious. Kow Soi Moo Krob is one of the curries with crispy pork belly in a curry/coconut broth with egg noodles. The presentation of this dish was also very elevated and the broth was an even level of thickness and the flavors weren't overpowering. I'm usually wary of getting coconut curries but this was balanced so well. We also got Hor Mok with is a salmon curry. This was a little spicier and also so creamy. The salmon didn't exactly fit well with the curry, though. Kow Yum is a papaya salad and it was so beautiful! There were so many colors and it was a perfect concoction of warm, cold, tart, sweet, and spicy. We got both the Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodles. Both were solid classics but didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. We ended with mango sticky rice, which comes with 3 different types of rice! Each was the perfect texture and you could actually taste the difference in the rices. Mango was nice and soft and the coconut cream topped it off well. Price: The total was around $175 for 8 dishes with each dish being around $15-$22. The price point is worth it for the quality and the quantity of the dishes you're getting it. I look forward to when I go back to Sugar & Spice! I want to try their guay jub! If you're in this area, definitely check it out.“
“Feel like something's changed in the past year or so. The food doesn't seem as cared for and has lost some of it's charm. not sure if just a bad day or if the chef has changed but other way feeling a little sad. still tasty but not the WOW it was “
“Jan 2024:Party of 10Sushi rolls were surprisingly delicious and fresh and presentation was nice! I enjoyed the crab ragoons they were. Perfectly crispy and warm. Had the pad thai with tofu it was delicious although the tofu was a bit much and I prefer it fully grilled and not mushy.“
“Staff is super nice, restaurant is clean and when I went in they were playing good music and the lighting was perfect. Prices are really good for the portions. I got fried tofu and white rice and it was so good, I love the sauce that comes with the tofu! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes.“
“Dakzen is a very special place. Highly recommend the Khao Soi. One of the best dishes i’ve ever eaten. Creamy. Spicy. Delcious. They have many other tasty dishes here too but the Khao Soi is my absolute favorite. The dining room is small so be prepared to wait a little bit. I usually eat here for lunch on a rainy day. That’s the best time to go. The wait is usually short. Lunch/Dinner rush on a nice day be prepared to wait longer. Food comes out quickly. You can be added to a wait list when you get there so you can walk around without losing your spot. Highly recommend. 10/10“
“Very nice sushi place. It is not very big, but had loads of small tables for two and four. I came at 7 o'clock on a Saturday and could only sit at the sushi bar itself (four seats) They had a nice set of sushi options, including an all salmon, sashimi and rolls.“
“Pretty good food! Parking is a little difficult because the restaurant doesn’t have its own lot. Plenty of seating and we were the only people dining in at dinner time on a Monday. Not the best thai food I’ve ever had but certainly wasn’t disappointed.“
“Quaint little ramen spot but perfect for anyone craving authentic ramen. They pack the broth separately for to go orders which is great for reheating later on. They add a cute piece of seaweed to the bowl too. Servers are super friendly and helpful towards first timers. Portions are filling and fresh. Barstool style seating indoors in the winter time!“
“The vibes are so good in here, super clean and the decor is rlly cool! I got the babe ribs and the meat was SO JUICY AND TENDER a bit spicy for me but just right… get with rice and you will def have leftovers. Thai tea was good too and the fresh spring rolls were super yummy. Everyone is very friendly and it was v “
“Last semester, I was commuting to college and often staying late on campus to avoid traffic. I came to this restaurant so often for dinner, that the owner herself now recognizes me by both name and appearance. She is the sweetest lady ever, she radiates hospitality, and her smile is like sunshine. Her and her partner make great food, always reliable and comforting, and easily my go to for a quick take out meal when I’m in the area. Now, my boyfriend and I come here almost weekly for dinner and she always welcomes us with a warm smile and delicious food. Thank you Ching!“
“One of my favorite places in all of Boston. I've literally had dreams about their Tom Yum soup (although I haven't had anything else on the menu I didn't love, the Tom Yum is just next level). The appetizers are all delicious and the flan for dessert is a must!“
“(FYI - In all fairness, this is based on a single visit and two dishes)I was headed to a dumpling shop down the street when I just happened to park in front of this place. I was in the mood for hot noodley stuff from any part of Asia anyway, so this fit the bill with a much easier walk on a chilly day."Thai Street Food" suggested they probably had more going on than Pad Thai and Golden Bags. Knowing "Zaab" means something along the lines of "Wicked Tasty" I figured it was a safe bet.I quickly spotted the Yum Nam Tok: a semi-salad thing of grilled sliced pork tossed with onions, chiles and a lime-soy dressing. Sprinkled with toasted rice powder for crunch and aroma, it's a personal favorite. 9Zaab does a really great job with this dish. Generously sized as well, allowing me to push it aside for later, then keep picking at it until the next course without finishing it off.The big bowl of Ba Lee Moo Dang (and Fish Ball!) was next. Perfect choice on a half-sunny/half-cold day. The menu billed it as "The most famous Thai egg noodles"* and it had a couple of chile pepper symbols next to it. Most Famous at a place called Zaab! I was waiting to have my socks blown off.Didn't quite happen. The famous egg noodles were a big helping of instant ramen in a big bowl of mildly- oh so very mildly - seasoned broth. The BBQ pork slices were pretty much pink ringed slices of the Chinese Char-Siu take out variety. There were some decent dumplings as well as some very delicious fish balls. They did, however, leave off the cilantro & fried garlic as listed.Over all it was kinda non-zaab... It wasn't bad. There just wasn't much to talk about flavor-wise. I poured some of the Yum Nam Tok dressing into it and added some chiles. It all worked out.Staff is nice, the joint is immaculately clean and I'd definitely give it another visit.*Turns out, all the noodle soups on the menu begin with "the most famous Thai..."Vegetarian options: I don't think I've ever been to a Thai restaurant which wasn't half-vegetarian by default.Dietary restrictions: People allergic to Thai food may feel itchy.Parking: Cambridge Street in Cambridge. Easy(ish) street parking on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely more challenging during the week.“
“Amazing place. My girlfriend and I are regulars, the price and quality are just unmatched. The food is kind of a southeast Asian fusion. Honestly it's very unique and I haven't been to many restaurants that serve and pull of these kinds of flavors. Strongly recommend.Try their brunch menu. So cheap, but so, so good.“
“Solid Thai Spot in Fenway.Came here a few weeks ago while I was looking for a quick Thai meal in the area. There aren’t a lot of good Asian restaurants in Fenway, but Thaitation seemed like a good option.Along with Thai Iced tea, we got the Shrimp Tempura and the Duck Chili. The Shrimp Tempura, which also included an assortment of vegetable tempura, was coated in a thin, crisp batter. It was exactly what I expected to get from a typical neighborhood Thai spot, and I especially enjoyed the broccoli tempura. The Duck Chili was also enjoyable. Though the duck itself could have been more tender, the dish was elevated by its spicy sweet and sour sauce and a delectable concoction of onions, pineapples, tomatoes, dried chili, and mushrooms.Overall, a good spot for a quick Thai fix in Fenway. Not sure if I would come back, but if you’re looking for a solid and affordable Thai food, I recommend giving them a try.Parking: Paid street parking along Peterborough st or near Isabella Gardner.“
“Stopped by for a rainy weekend late lunch. We were seated right away. I ordered the bun bo hue and it was very good. Soup was savory, not too salty. I ordered the steamed mixed veggies on the side, probably wouldn't do it again for the 3.95 price point - very small portion and the veggies were barely steamed. Good experience overall, will come back just for the bun bo hue!“
“Pho and Rice really impressed me, especially their Bun Bo Hue, which is the best I've ever had. Generous portions, rich flavors, and a cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit spot. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine.“
“I really fell in love with the sushi bomb roll. I ordered it from DoorDash with some vegetables rolls & both were great. It was my first time trying sushi as well from an actual restaurant so it was very Good to me. The sushi was 15 dollars & the rolls were 5 dollars in my opinion it was totally worth it. I’m going to bring my family there one of these days to try out other stuff they have.“
“This place is great. I work at BU and once a month or so I make it here for lunch. It's consistently good and the employees are always friendly. It's casual and perfect for a midday meal. And look up their story online- it's so sweet. Nud Pob means "meeting place" in Thai.“
“The food was excellent so I'd give 5 stars just for that but they went above and beyond to cater to our kids food allergies, which is always difficult when you are traveling and have to eat out.The lady then took time to speak with our boys, ask them they're name and wrote it out in Thai on a piece of paper for them to take home as well as teach them how to pronounce it. Our boys were super happy.I would 100% return.Dietary restrictions: Allergies“
“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“
“Great curry here. The delivery fried tofu is no match for the one at the restaurant though. The last time I went in person it was so crisp and delicious and the one I had delivered felt like it was reheated from a fried tofu packet. Please bring back the crispy one it was so good!“
“Pi was awesome and super friendly.I have been here before but today I felt like the staff went above and beyond. I will certainly come back. I ordered the lunch special they have from 11am to 3pm. Basil fried rice and crab Rangoon was absolutely amazing. I was thinking about taking some home and ended up eating all lol.“
“In terms of food this is my favorite restaurant in Boston. Every time I’m craving Thai food or just have no idea what to eat I’ll order delivery from them. They have so many dish options that you can’t find in most other Thai restaurants. I would recommend the pork short rib soup, any dishes with beef shank, kua gai (similar to pad see ew but not sweet). The portion is normally nice, and they pack the food pretty well.“
“My mother in law had a ratatouille style transcendent experience with the tom khar gal soup. Everyone else at the table similarly agreed their food was top tier, excellent. Service was attentive and prompt, and the dining area was beautiful and small enough to feel pretty intimate too. Only knocking off one star because one of the seasonal drink specials was a pumpkin spice chai tea which turned out to be just a Stash brand tea bag that you can buy at the grocery store, nothing special or added. That was disappointing but everything else was fantastic and I will definitely go back.“
“I love to eat Malaysian food at this restaurant! It's tasty!Roti Canai, water cress with preserved bean curd paste sauce and Hainanese chicken are my favorites at this restaurantThe atmosphere is like having food with family. The service is fine, but I expect the food more than service hereWill come back with my family when we visit Boston“
“AMAZING. Ordered takeout from a small Thai place and the food was better than I was expecting given the size of the location. The person that gave me my food was kind and there were a few tables inside. The food was absolutely amazing. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It was spicy, sweet and cooked perfectly. You need to check this place out!!!“
“Coincidently I stop by Somerville today , I just found this delicious Thai chicken over rice , we ordered the heat and the mix , also Thai ice tea , believe and not I love it a lot , because it is not too sweet and tea favor stay fresh, also the sauce just match with chicken very well . It also comes dikon soup , I tasted like my mom soup , ( not just water with dikon) surprise me . Highly recommended, will definitely come back again. I was too hungry, forgot to take the pictures. Hopefully we can come back soon .“
“Great value for the money, and good calm atmosphere. The entree servings are generous. I almost always take half home for another meal. My glass of wine does add expense. My favorite is the Rama Garden with chicken, and a side order of brown rice.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant steps and entry would be difficult for a wheelchair.“
“One of my Thai friends in Boston recommended Thai food at Pad Thai Cafe for lunchIt's small take out and some dining in space to eat food with a bathroom inside the restaurantThe food was scrumptious and authentic. My friend and I enjoyed eating the foodThe service is attentive and friendly. This restaurant is one of my options if I'd like to have Thai food in Boston“
“So good - I'm vegan and love good Thai food and this place is as good as any place I've ever been. I told the folks at the front what I wanted and 5 minutes later I had a beautiful dish of tofu, broccoli, and drunken noodles. Next time I'm around I'll be back!Vegetarian options: Ask for what you want and don't want, that's it. Staff is friendly and smart, they get it.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Do what I do. Ask for a large entree. Decline the rice or noodles. Instead of choosing 3 things to add to the large entree, choose 2: the grilled-looking chicken and the steamed-looking broccoli. They ought to fill the container with those 2. The sauce they put on that chicken is carbs aplenty and you get a delicious balanced meal for less than $10. Used to go here near daily for work. Miss this spot.“
“Best pad see ew ever here!! They truly have the best most authentic Thai food here. I’ve had everything, I especially love their shumaii, gyoza, drunken noodles, pad see ew, pad kee mao. Everything I’ve gotten here is delicious and flavorful. The portions are amazing for the price. I’ve had dinner with friends inside too, it’s really peaceful and calm they are attentive and put the food out quickly. I love this place and couldn’t recommend it more.“
“My go-to Thai restaurant in Boston. Nearby street parking and good food. Decent pad thai, good pad see ew, and excellent Thai curries. Pricing is a bit higher than it used to be, but that's the "post"-pandemic world we live in.“
“Anchan House is my new standard for Pad Thai. I brought my wife here for dinner and both our meals were excellent. Spicy chicken Pad Thai, and chicken curry. Hostess/waitress was super polite and helpful, and very attentive during our meal. The Thai iced teas really complimented our entrees. So delicious. We will definitely be back soon.“
“Definitely recommend this Thai place! Food is very delicious and service is super fast. Ramen with beef was super nice. My favorite is grilled chicken rice bowl. Edamame is also nice to have.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free ramen is available“
“Amazing!!! My wife is Thai and we were transported back to Thailand! The pad Thai was flavourful, the chicken wings were crispy and juicy, the crab Rangoon’s were the best I’ve ever come across - perfectly crispy yet gooey in the center. My wife enjoys the spicy salad and you cannot go wrong with egg rolls or any of the other Thai favourites. Would highly recommend!! Thank you for many great meals!“
“I have ordered pad Thai from this restaurant over 50 times. Recommend topping with peanut sauce, lime, and chili flakes or sriracha sauce. The rest of the menu is hit or miss, so I highly recommend you try the pad thai before you try other dishes.“
“I’m always on the hunt for a great place for red curry and the red curry here slaps. It’s wicked good and walking in to grab my take out, I noticed it’s a super cute place! I’ll have to go in person next time. Highly recommend either way, great Thai food for “
“This establishment is a must-visit if you are craving good pad thai. I've found myself ordering every variety they have to offer at once point or another. I've had a smattering of other dishes and they were all equally fresh, well-prepared, and tasty. I should really try more of the menu and see how well Lemon Thai pulls off other Thai staples, but the pad thai is so good I can't stop coming back to it, haha. Also, the people who work here are kind and helpful. Love to visit!“
“I've ordered from here quite a few times, always the same dish, Cashew Chicken. It's always pretty good, but the dish does seem to vary based on the day. Most recently I got it and there were a few chunks of pineapple in it, the dish was overly sweet with no hint of spice to it what-so-ever. Usually there's a bit of chili flavor and a zing of ginger, but this time it just tasted like soy sauce and pineapple juice, a little disappointing. Always quick service and friendly employees when I pick up takeout.Parking: There's some street parking, but you have to pay for it and they do monitor this street regularly and give tickets if you don't pay.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Quite a few steps to get into the restaurant.“
“Nice quaint restaurant with very attentive and helpful staff. We were told that the menu was online. We ordered our early dinner appetizers and meals and they were nice, hot and very fresh. We started if with the edemame and steamed gyoza. Simple but fresh. Then we finished off with yellow curry with brown rice and a mango salad. The mango salad was amazing. My mom became addicted and has had us order it for her a couple of times since. The food is great but a couple of things that we did not like was that we were served our Thai Iced Tea in plastic to go cups and the menu that is online has no description of the dishes. The pictures are nice but think it would have been helpful if we had a description of the i gredients.“
“Wonderful food and they were so accommodating with my vegan requests. I often worry that certain restaurants don’t read my notes that say “vegan”. But they checked off my vegan request with a smiley face on my delivery order. It was honestly a relief to know off the bat that my food requests were respected. And on top of that, this is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had!! Please check out this restaurant!! You won’t regret it!“
“Amazing customer service coupled with the most delicious and fragrant panang curry = the best combo. The mild spice level I requested was indeed, mild. Something I can rarely find and it hit the spot in the best way. I'll be thinking about this place until I'm back in Calgary next month. Thank you!“
