“I ordered pad thai and rice noodles. Of all the pho restaurants I've tried since coming to Boston, this was the most delicious and friendly. The staff’s delicacy and professionalism gave me a great sense of trust! I was disappointed that the Pad Thai noodles were a bit short, but the seasoning was just right and I ordered it with a fork and was satisfied with both the quantity and taste. The rice noodles also have less MSG flavor, are refreshing, and have quite a lot of meat. It had a clean rice noodle flavor, so it suited my taste ^^“

Big portion, and super saucy, so if you like less of a 'dry' pad thai, I'd definitely recommend it.They've also got a small market to buy some basic Thai staples if you're so inclined. Went during a Saturday lunchtime. Very few customers until close to end of lunch special time. On-street parking, so limited by time of day and other business customers on the same street. “This was our first time visiting The Bangkok and it will NOT be our last! We decided to be complete fat@$$es — I mean adventurous — and delved into the small plates. If you are a person of small appetite, 1-2 small plates is enough for you (we did not stop there!). For apps/small plates, we shared the veggie crispy rolls and curry roti (fried scallion pancake). The rolls were perfectly crisp without being oily with a healthy side of pickled carrots and radish over lettuce and sweet/sour dipping sauce. The roti was served hot and crispy with a soft lemongrass soup sauce. Amazing! My carnivorous spouse added a small plate of ribs, too; she describes the ribs as “good.” In more elaborate details the curry on top tasted of a savory scallion and red beans that fit nicely with the meat of the ribs that fell from the bones (may the poor cow’s soul rest in peace).Moving onto entrees, I have a habit of testing Thai restaurants with tofu red curry. This was a healthy portion — too much to handle in one sitting — was a New England American (white people) spicy 5:10 after asking for extra spicy, luckily there was chili oil on the tables for additional spice. Anyway, the curry was creamy, not watery and had a beautiful mix of beans, red peppers, bamboo, tofu, pea pods, and chunks of eggplant, plus a side of rice. I would definitely get it again!Partner in murdering Thai food today got khao soi noodle dish that had a light yellow curry spicy (caliente) sauce with noodles, scallion, greens, herbs, vegetables, and a whole freaking chicken leg grass in a lemon grass coconut sauce, which I’m told tasted amazing. Again, God rest that chicken soul. We finished off fat@$$fest with the mango sticky rice. Well, the taste was impeccable with the just perfectly ripen mangoes, I would suggest just slightly more coconut sauce, but keep in mind I am an Asian American, not an Asian Asian. The service was wonderful and each of the people serving us was on top of our table without being overbearing. And the best part was for all of that we spent around $66 without tip. I highly recommend if you are in the Melrose area and really looking for some authentic, delicious Thai food.“

“(FYI - In all fairness, this is based on a single visit and two dishes)I was headed to a dumpling shop down the street when I just happened to park in front of this place. I was in the mood for hot noodley stuff from any part of Asia anyway, so this fit the bill with a much easier walk on a chilly day."Thai Street Food" suggested they probably had more going on than Pad Thai and Golden Bags. Knowing "Zaab" means something along the lines of "Wicked Tasty" I figured it was a safe bet.I quickly spotted the Yum Nam Tok: a semi-salad thing of grilled sliced pork tossed with onions, chiles and a lime-soy dressing. Sprinkled with toasted rice powder for crunch and aroma, it's a personal favorite. 9Zaab does a really great job with this dish. Generously sized as well, allowing me to push it aside for later, then keep picking at it until the next course without finishing it off.The big bowl of Ba Lee Moo Dang (and Fish Ball!) was next. Perfect choice on a half-sunny/half-cold day. The menu billed it as "The most famous Thai egg noodles"* and it had a couple of chile pepper symbols next to it. Most Famous at a place called Zaab! I was waiting to have my socks blown off.Didn't quite happen. The famous egg noodles were a big helping of instant ramen in a big bowl of mildly- oh so very mildly - seasoned broth. The BBQ pork slices were pretty much pink ringed slices of the Chinese Char-Siu take out variety. There were some decent dumplings as well as some very delicious fish balls. They did, however, leave off the cilantro & fried garlic as listed.Over all it was kinda non-zaab... It wasn't bad. There just wasn't much to talk about flavor-wise. I poured some of the Yum Nam Tok dressing into it and added some chiles. It all worked out.Staff is nice, the joint is immaculately clean and I'd definitely give it another visit.*Turns out, all the noodle soups on the menu begin with "the most famous Thai..."Vegetarian options: I don't think I've ever been to a Thai restaurant which wasn't half-vegetarian by default.Dietary restrictions: People allergic to Thai food may feel itchy.Parking: Cambridge Street in Cambridge. Easy(ish) street parking on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely more challenging during the week.“

Food: I got the Tom Yum soup and the Pork Belly skewers. The soup was so hearty, delicious, and warm. I loved the sourness of the soup. Unfortunately, the noodles were clumpy and were breaking apart. This is such a fixable mistake so that wasn't great. The pork had good seasoning and liked the fish sauce it was paired with. Ambiance: This is a smaller location than the Wellesley or Boston locations but allows for more casual dining. Price: It was about $18 for the soups. Not bad for Boston pricing but I wish there were more noodles in the soup and that the noodles had been loosened before. Overall, I would go again just to try other dishes and it offers Thai dishes that not every restaurant offers.“

“Good Thai and Korean dishes served at this restaurant ?. Their menu offers many choices, from Japanese to Thai and Korean dishes. We ordered Thai dishes, and we prefer spicier foods. They didn't disappoint they were very tasty, just enough heat like we prefer ? .Well worth the try ?“

“Finally tried dining in at Phu-Ket after only having it via takeout after all these years. It's small from the outside, but cute and intimate on inside: quiet, more tables than I expected and clean, so I was blown away. I came here for dinner with my dad, and we got the Pork Tenderloin with Sticky Rice appetizer, Spicy Duck Fried Rice, and Seafood Pad Thai. All delicious and a great portion for the price. The price for all the items was about $40-$50, which is very reasonable. And with the takeout rice I got, that was still under $70. The service was a bit slow to start, but there were a lot of tables and takeout orders the whole night. So it's definitely popular, and I can see why. Even had a lovely chat with hostess and chefs after. I'll definitely be back! Bring your appetite and be willing to try new things!“

“If you haven’t eaten here you certainly should, it’s a hidden gem with the best dumplings I have ever tasted. The lady who owns and runs it is a fantastic personality and a joy to see for every short occasion. I would have posted a photo to show how perfectly crisp they are but I ate them before I thought to post and ate them far too quickly. The homemade dumpling sauce is such a compliment. Highly recommend going out of your way to make it here for the times it’s open you wouldn’t regret it.“

“Solid Thai Spot in Fenway.Came here a few weeks ago while I was looking for a quick Thai meal in the area. There aren’t a lot of good Asian restaurants in Fenway, but Thaitation seemed like a good option.Along with Thai Iced tea, we got the Shrimp Tempura and the Duck Chili. The Shrimp Tempura, which also included an assortment of vegetable tempura, was coated in a thin, crisp batter. It was exactly what I expected to get from a typical neighborhood Thai spot, and I especially enjoyed the broccoli tempura. The Duck Chili was also enjoyable. Though the duck itself could have been more tender, the dish was elevated by its spicy sweet and sour sauce and a delectable concoction of onions, pineapples, tomatoes, dried chili, and mushrooms.Overall, a good spot for a quick Thai fix in Fenway. Not sure if I would come back, but if you’re looking for a solid and affordable Thai food, I recommend giving them a try.Parking: Paid street parking along Peterborough st or near Isabella Gardner.“

“I really fell in love with the sushi bomb roll. I ordered it from DoorDash with some vegetables rolls & both were great. It was my first time trying sushi as well from an actual restaurant so it was very Good to me. The sushi was 15 dollars & the rolls were 5 dollars in my opinion it was totally worth it. I’m going to bring my family there one of these days to try out other stuff they have.“

“Do what I do. Ask for a large entree. Decline the rice or noodles. Instead of choosing 3 things to add to the large entree, choose 2: the grilled-looking chicken and the steamed-looking broccoli. They ought to fill the container with those 2. The sauce they put on that chicken is carbs aplenty and you get a delicious balanced meal for less than $10. Used to go here near daily for work. Miss this spot.“

“Stopped by for a rainy weekend late lunch. We were seated right away. I ordered the bun bo hue and it was very good. Soup was savory, not too salty. I ordered the steamed mixed veggies on the side, probably wouldn't do it again for the 3.95 price point - very small portion and the veggies were barely steamed. Good experience overall, will come back just for the bun bo hue!“
