“I wanna say thank you to the Jana Grill restaurant for the delicious food! I really liked the Armenian kebab, the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! I will definitely return to you. Thanks to the owner of this restaurant for such staff I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!“

“Food is incredibly delicious! I came here with my family (10 of us) and they accommodated us comfortably. The service was excellent and genuine. At the end of our meals, they offered us churros on the house which were rich and creamy. 10/10 Recommendation!“

“The quality of the food was pretty good. The House Lo Mein with hand-pulled noodles was tasty (not very different from chow fun I’ve had elsewhere, though, in both flavor and composition). General Gao’s chicken was small pieces of white meat, which I appreciated versus the poor-quality bits rolled into balls of batter you usually get. And the vegetarian dumplings came with a delicious dipping sauce. But these 3 items, delivered, cost me $50. $50?! For two takeout entrees and an appetizer?“

“Pretty good roast beef. Colder beef than the usual NS beef but also cooked a little more which I like. (The typical NS completely raw beef grosses me out). You got to love the owner though. He's been serving beefs for like 40 years, waaay before they became a foodie fad. So if you say 3 way to him he'll look at you like you're a giant dork. I think its hilarious. But anyhow the food is pretty darn good for fast food. Oh and the prices are fair. He didnt jack up his prices 200% when 40-50% inflation hit over the past couple of years. He jacked up the prices to pretty much exactly what the inflation was.“

“Though we had a reservation, we were seated by the door. On a cold winter day, with the door constantly opening, it was freezing. The hostess was not particularly nice when she seated us there. The waiter was fine and helpful. The food made up for that. The special Chicken and Waffle was so big that it was good for sharing. The beignets are to die for.“

“I was here for a pop up with Phaeng & Phiu to try Chef Veo’s Laotian dishes. We ordered everything on the pop up menu and it was all delicious. The service here is impeccable and we can’t wait to return to try Branch Line’s food. Thank you for hosting this fabulous chef.“

“My local sports bar! So many televisions, so much seating, too! They have cheap beer and free popcorn. They have a seasonal food and cocktail list and their seasonal food specials are some of my favorites! Their korean fried chicken sandwich lives rent free in my head.“

“Finally tried this local legend! We're so glad we did. Got a Sicilian pie - cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients, yummy sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and an amazing crust. This is genuine pizza. The kind that is rare now. The Arancini was delicious too. The best part - how well everything heated the next day - few pizzas are so delicious second day now. They're so thin, charred, dry. This Sicilian pie heated up beautifully on day 2. It's the pizza of many people's childhoods - authentic! And the staff could not be nicer, helpful, friendly. A+“

“The yakitori here is authentic and delicious. Great flavor and you can really taste the smokiness from the grill. Beef tongue, steak and pork belly were my favorite. The chicken yakitori is basic and I would pass next time. Their rich shio ramen is very good also; broth is very flavorful and I drank the whole bowl! The “Delicious Shochu” cocktail was so good! It was strong, but you couldn’t taste the alcohol. Highly recommended for people who like refreshing, fruity cocktails. Unfortunately the thing that will prevent me from coming here often are their prices! You have to order a lot of skewers and apps to feel full. Their yakitori is double the price of “Izakaya Ittoku” in Cambridge! At $5-$7 PER skewer here, that’s really pushing it. Don’t get me started about the prices of their sushi and rolls. If they want to brand themselves as a higher end Japanese restaurant for locals in Watertown, that’s fine. But know that they will lose out on a lot of Boston Asian clientele that flock towards restaurants that offer more affordable, casual dining. I will save this spot for only when I want to splurge.“

“This place is amazing- We came to visit for our Boston trip for the weekend and we decided to eat at this place. Not only the prices are cheap, but the food quality and portions make it AMAZING. I would 💯 recommend to eat at this place anytime. You will not regret it.“

“I discovered this restaurant by the amazing smell, always a good sign. I did a take out order, with the Mirze Gasemi and Kebob-E-Soltani. Both were very tasty, tender, with a wonderful combination of spices, they came with the rice which was airy and perfectly cooked.
They have only a few tables but they are nicely set up with white table cloths and the atmosphere is of an elevated place but cozy and very comfortable. The noise level is also very low, no loud music, which makes it excellent for carrying out a conversation without having to shout to be heard. We’ll definitely go there to dine out.“

“After being terribly disappointed that my local “massage” parlor closed , I found this gem in the same block! The bartender was very friendly and had a lot of energy! Great crew of regulars here as well that made me feel welcome and at home! Definitely worth a visit! They turned my frown upside down! Would definitely recommend!“

“Kura Sushi is part of a franchise of revolving sushi quick service restaurants expanding across the Boston area.
There isn’t much seating outside and the line can get a bit long, so during rain it might be a wise idea to wait in your car. Luckily, since it's in Arsenal Yards, you can explore around and find places to go to. They have a waitlist option so its easy to get notified when your table is ready.
The food is good. Quality of the sushi is top notch and the variety is good. You can either grab it off the revolving belt, or order it straight to your table. I’d say ordering it to the table is better, since the placement of your table along the belt may result in the trays being empty by the time it arrives. There’s typically only 2 of each dish on the belt as well, so this happened consistently during the visit. They have rotating monthly specials which are hit or miss depending if you like what they are offering or not, but i'd highly recommend to at least try it.
At $3.70/dish and higher prices for the meals like ramen, it is on the pricier side for sushi, especially since most plates only come with 2 pieces. I’d recommend this for smaller parties and not when you’re really hungry, as your bill will go up quite a bit.
The prizes are cute and nice, but they also give you an option to buy the prize for the price of a dish, sorta eliminating the need to rack up the plate counter to get a prize (which is 15 plates or around $55 per prize). There are rare ones you can get only from the prize gashapon but idk if it’s really worth it unless you care about the characters a lot.“

“We’ve been coming here since the pandemic where we first got take out. The food is always great with good level of Sichuan numbing spice which complements the food flavor. Our favorite dishes are the mapo tofu, twice cooked pork, mala fish, and chengdu spicy chicken. Best to eat in! The owners are very nice and always welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“We’ve lived in the greater Boston area for over a decade, and without question, Joyful Garden is one of the best Chinese restaurants we consistently return to. In fact, today, Lunar Chinese New Year, felt like the perfect time to finally write this review.
We came in to celebrate and once again were reminded why this place is so special. The food is outstanding, authentic, flavorful, and with an incredible variety that keeps us coming back year after year.
What truly sets Joyful Garden apart, though, is the people. The owner and manager always make us feel like family coming home. The team has clearly worked together for a long time, and that continuity shows in the warm, attentive service. Over the years, we’ve celebrated so many family milestones here, and it has become a meaningful part of our traditions.“
