Ixtapa Cantina is a popular Mexican restaurant in the greater Boston area, known for its delicious and authentic cuisine. The staff is praised for their attentive and friendly service, even with a high volume of takeout orders. The menu features a variety of beloved dishes, including fajitas, enchiladas, and tacos, all consistently well-prepared and served hot. The steak fajita plate is perfectly seasoned and tender, and the restaurant also offers affordable house margaritas.
The overall atmosphere is enjoyable, perfect for a few margaritas and a satisfying meal. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with a changing table available in one of the restrooms, although the music can sometimes be loud. The back entrance is accessible for wheelchair users.
