“Great food and great service! I even got gluten free chicken parm and spaghetti which was excellent! They have a wonderful food and drink menu. Our server Jess was was excellent as well. The manager Nick greeted us when we came in and found us a great table by the window. So the bottom line is, this is a great restaurant and I'm so happy we found this little gem! We will be back!”

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.”

“We had a wonderful family dinner at Halva Kebab and it was truly a great experience from start to finish! My husband, my son, and I ordered the mixed grill along with several appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and every dish we tried was outstanding.
What makes this place extra special is that it’s a family business — you can feel the warmth and care in both the food and the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome.

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!”

We shared the blue cheese burger, which was cooked perfectly and a Ceasar Salad. The later was good, but different. I've never had a Ceasar with olives and hard boiled egg. Will definitely be back!”

Inside its a standard mid-sized local sports bar that I get the sense has a loyal local following. To my surprise food was above average and staff was very very friendly. Full bar, but limited draft selection if your a beer snob this probably isnt your spot.”

“This is the best pizza in the Newton/Watertown/Waltham area. It’s the crunchy Greek-style crust that my wife and I love most. It’s just one guy doing it all by himself, so just avoid using the bathroom there. But he’s got the pizza making part down.”

“Ten One is definitely one of the best boba places out there. Their tea is quality and their boba is also good. The brown sugar milk tea is one of the best things on their menu - I would definitely recommend that. Service is quick and welcoming at this location as well. Their price point is also on par with most other boba places.”

“Excellent food, service and welcoming space! This was probably our 5th time eating at Condesa and it is consistent. Plenty of free garage parking. Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all. Very reasonably priced too. It's definately part of our restaurant rotation when we want a nice dining experience and terrific food. Kudos to the entire management and staff!”

“The cheese dip was smooth and spicy. The chicken tamales were authentic tasting but a little heavy on the Masa to chicken ratio. All of it was satisfying and very filling. I would also recommend the aroz con pollo as being flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a pleasure to dine here. There's no longer an attempt to classify menu items as 'gluten-free' or not, but my wife had the tortilla soup with no I'll effects, so there's one.

Compared to other Mexican restaurants, your food is delivered reasonably quickly. I can't say that for most other places and the quality is always consistantly good and satisfying.”

“The lamb kebab was one of the juiciest, well-cooked lamb I've ever had. I would go back just for this dish! The ground beef kebab is also great. Wasn't a huge fan of the beef tenderloin kebab or salmon kebab, they were both pretty dry. The rice is standard, no seasoning, but the roasted tomatoes were a nice touch. Truly no frills to the point I didn't really enjoy dining in (maybe would've helped if they played some music) but will definitely get the lamb kebab to go in the future.”

“This is a hidden gem. I've passed this restaurant many times and finally tried it today before the dinner crowd started to come in. The interior is larger than it seems from the outside. It's well decorated, clean, and the tables aren't all crowded next to each other. The food was very good as well as pricing. The portions are decent. I read some comments about carnitas but despite the negative comments we tried the carnitas tacos, they were really good and we would definitely recommend them. They have a back room with a bar. I recommend this place for the food, ambiance, and price. The service was good. Waiter and staff are very friendly.”

Some of my family members decided to try the specialty drinks. I got tea, they each selected a coffee of some kind. They were happy to receive the drink and enjoyed the beverage. We are on vacation in the area and selected some pastries as well. The personnel were fine during our visit. The drinks and pastries were pretty good too.”

“my usual go to starbucks on the weekends although this morning I wasn't very happy with having to wait 10-15 min for my drinks after my food order came out very quickly. the place wasn't even busy! 5 people behind the place and only one person making drinks one person taking orders one person making food orders. the other two walking around aimlessly. the barista making the drinks decided it was a good time to make himself an espresso as he started making my refreshers and when he drank it it dribbled from his mouth all over his shirt so he had to stop what he was doing to go clean up. not even a sorry about the wait after he put my drinks on the bar for pick up. also why are employees parking in the 2-hour customer parking spots, the signage suggests those are for customers only who I going to be there for 2 hours or less. considering it's a very small parking lot for customers I don't think employees should be parking there and taking up the space.”

The carts come around and you begin your feast. My favorites are chicken feet, spare ribs in black bean sauce, salt and pepper lobster and stir fried Chinese broccoli (not pictured). The bbq pork buns and pineapple custard buns were fantastic as well.

Chicken feet were tender and flavorful. Pork spareribs had great flavor but wasn’t as tender as I would’ve liked. The salt & pepper lobster was crispy on the outside and meat was delicious. I could’ve sat there all day eating it.

The bbq pork buns had a little sticky glaze on top and the bun was so soft. The bbq pork filling had sweetness to it. The pineapple custard bun was a great dessert item to finish off a wonderful meal here. It was soft, topping was crumbly and the custard filling just oozing like an egg yolk. The bun was soft, sweet and delicious!

Service was great. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Highly recommend and I will definitely return when I’m in the area again.”

“I’ve been going to Gerry’s Italian Kitchen for a long time, and I’ve always had a great experience. The pizza is consistently delicious, the steak & cheese subs are excellent, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming.
I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, and honestly, many of them seem to be about very small issues. Every restaurant makes mistakes once in a while there isn’t a single place that’s perfect 100% of the time. What really matters is how they respond, and from my experience, the staff has always been willing to listen and make things right.
Gerry’s is a hardworking local business that deserves support. If you’re looking for great Italian food and friendly service, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.”
