“Pretty good roast beef. Colder beef than the usual NS beef but also cooked a little more which I like. (The typical NS completely raw beef grosses me out). You got to love the owner though. He's been serving beefs for like 40 years, waaay before they became a foodie fad. So if you say 3 way to him he'll look at you like you're a giant dork. I think its hilarious. But anyhow the food is pretty darn good for fast food. Oh and the prices are fair. He didnt jack up his prices 200% when 40-50% inflation hit over the past couple of years. He jacked up the prices to pretty much exactly what the inflation was.“

The carts come around and you begin your feast. My favorites are chicken feet, spare ribs in black bean sauce, salt and pepper lobster and stir fried Chinese broccoli (not pictured). The bbq pork buns and pineapple custard buns were fantastic as well.

Chicken feet were tender and flavorful. Pork spareribs had great flavor but wasn’t as tender as I would’ve liked. The salt & pepper lobster was crispy on the outside and meat was delicious. I could’ve sat there all day eating it.

The bbq pork buns had a little sticky glaze on top and the bun was so soft. The bbq pork filling had sweetness to it. The pineapple custard bun was a great dessert item to finish off a wonderful meal here. It was soft, topping was crumbly and the custard filling just oozing like an egg yolk. The bun was soft, sweet and delicious!

Service was great. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Whoever did the electrical work in this place absolutely understood the assignment. The mood lighting is so good I spent part of dinner admiring the fixtures instead of my steak, which is saying something.

Warm, dramatic, flattering—apparently Eddie V’s has figured out that good lighting is cheaper than Botox.

Five stars for the restaurant and the excellent steak.

We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. “Came here for the matchbooks which were at the host table and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! The corn bread with honey whipped butter was DELECTABLE !!! The truffle Parmesan fries were okay but tbh could do with out the truffle add on. Also ordered the lamb ribs and oysters which were good. “Possibly the best chowder/seafood spot in Boston. I’ve been going here since I was a kid when my dad would take me to Celtics games. We’d always get chowder and oysters before. The food has not changed and is always as flavorful as ever. When I’m at school I come here at least once a week cause it’s my favorite spot. I also have spent half my life in Maine so I know a thing or two about seafood. Come to this place!“

“Our group of 6 had a fun time celebrating a special occasion at Capital Grille while also enjoying The Generous Pour! The restaurant was very nice. Spacious, sophisticated, and an upscale atmosphere.

He made us feel so welcome right from the start and attended to our table frequently throughout the evening to make sure we were having a great time. The food was sooo good. We started with a variety of appetizers, including the calamari and oysters, which were delicious. For my main course, I had the steak au poivre medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

For sides, we shared the asparagus, truffle fries, and the lobster mac and cheese which was the best mac and cheese any of us have ever had! And I don’t even like lobster!

“We had a party of 7 and were seated in a semi-private area, near the entrance, behind the host table, which was very convenient for conversation. The food was very good, we tried many different plated from the tapas (crispy potatoes and the sliders were the highlight). We made sure to order the 2 paellas early, because they did take some time to cook. The seafood and the rib paellas were fantastic. We were very lucky to have a great server, she checked in on us often and kept our drinks refilled. The overall experience was excellent for our first time and we would recommend Boqueria to our friends“

“My first vist and loved it. One of my favorite Chinese food i ever had. Also had good choices for me as a vegitarian and my friend good meat options. My friend thought there food are little bit more oily but we liked it. Some food items were spicy which we loved.

Since we went for early dinner around 330 on Sunday, it was not too crowded and got our food pretty quick.“

It would have made the cost of the tickets much better if the pier was closed to non ticket holders, but I understand it's not a private pier. Service was outstanding!“
