“Took my wife for her birthday, along with our daughter. Having been to Peru before and really enjoyed the flavors, we were excited to try this out. And the food certainly didn't disappoint. All of the dishes were very flavorful, including both the mango shrimp ceviche AND the vegetarian ceviche (which was something we didn't get in Peru!). The Causa reminded us of our time in Peru, and both the Peruvian Chinese eggplant and the cilantro lamb stew were very good. The former was a bit milder than we expected, but still delicious, while the latter was superbly seasoned with lamb that melts in your mouth. On the drinks side, we had a passionfruit sour, and the Chica sour and both were delicious. The dessert was their fruit mousse which was also excellent. We were seated outside as it was a nice summer's day, so I can't vouch for the interior. The service was good, though it did seem that one of the waiters wasn't particularly thrilled (either about serving us, or in general). The one who took our orders though, was polite and detailed and pointed out the vegetarian options for my wife and daughter. Keep in mind that this is NOT an inexpensive place. The items range from $17 for an appetizer to the high 30's for the main courses. But for someone craving for something different or just very flavorful food in general, this would be a great choice. I can see why this shows up on many of the lists for best new spots in the city. Highly recommended!“

“The service was great and the food was delicious. I went in and got some take out. Once the food was brought out I asked if I could eat a little bit at a table. My server allowed me to and brought me some water and side dishes. I got the jjambbong seafood noodles. I was assuming it would have a strong seafood taste but to my surprise it was a very mellow lime’ish taste. The broth was delicious and the noodles were a perfect blend of springy and chewy and held onto the broth great. It is a bit pricey but so are most restaurants. If your ever in the area I absolutely recommend buk kyung“

“We had an excellent experience as always! Ameile was our waitstaff and he was awesome!! We gave him a brief lesson on single malt scotches and he was a trooper going back and forth from the bar to check on what they had! We have never had a bad experience there and go fairly often!“

“Legal Sea Foods - Somerville was amazing with food allergies (dairy, eggs, nuts, and gluten). They had dairy free buns and also gluten buns as well as dinner rolls. The chef got creative to make my dairy free/egg free lobster roll taste amazing. The food came out quickly and our server was wonderful!“
