“It's been over 10 years since first coming here. And I'm so glad they're still thriving.
Still one of my favorite cocktail bars in the Boston area. Great mixologists with lots of knowledge and keeping it fresh with seasonal drinks and continually to push the limits on unique and special cocktails.
If you wanna just get hammered, probably not the place for you unless you're trying to show off with limitless funds.”
“Hands down the best in Davis. Don't think twice about going to eat here! 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 drinks Don't believe me? Go and see for yourselves! :)”
“Great little space, good food, loved the beer selection, fabulous jukebox .. staff were engaging and polite and funny”
“Delicious and safe dining experience- the food was unbelievably fresh and creative. All servers went out of their way to be attentive and friendly- the mulled wine was the perfect beverage on this chilly afternoon! We brought blankets- and used them!”

“This is such a delightful place to come for a drink, a meal, and a date night. The Eaves is a terrific setting for an intimate 2 or 3 person evening. The entrance is a bit tough to find in Bow Market - though after entering, it's to hide the high quality atmosphere that's inside.
We got drinks after being seated and we're impressed by the flavor of drinks indicative of a cosmopolitan feel.
The food was most impressive. The spice level was very high and was balanced with the wonderful flavours provided. The vegetarian salad was a good starter, followed by ceviche and finally, the duck. That duck is still something I am thinking about - tender, juicy, and with just enough spice that makes me want more.
Our service complemented a wonderful evening. The staff were always attentive to our needs, happy to answer questions, and ensure we had a great time. Though it's a bit pricey, The Eaves deserves 5 stars, a bigger place, and another visit from us and others. Thank you for such a great time and hope to come again soon!”

“Didn’t realize the brisket sandwich I ordered was actually going to be beets, but it was still fabulous!
Love the outdoor area, especially for early evening dinner with kids.
They have sippy cups available if you ask.
Kid-friendliness: Sippy cups available upon request, not crowded at early dinner time”
“Michette is a gem tucked into the ever-evolving landscape of East Somerville. From the outside, the charming signage with little cartoons holding croissants pulls you in, but it’s the feeling once you step inside that really hooks you.
Walking in, it almost feels like you’ve crossed into a different era. The rich, dark wood and bustling energy give it this kind of timeless, grounded vibe. You’ve got a crowd inside, all clearly here with purpose, as the team behind the counter works like a well-tuned orchestra, each person genuinely engaged with their craft. Watching them work—rolling dough, restocking trays—makes it feel like you’re witnessing something rare in today’s fast-paced world: people who truly enjoy what they’re creating.
In a city where larger, established bakeries often dominate, it’s inspiring to see a small, grassroots operation like Michette making its mark. There’s something special about seeing the community embrace a place that’s focused so much on quality and craft. Their strive for excellence doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear that they’re pouring everything into this spot.
I tried their canelé and chocolate croissant, which lived up to their reputation. The canelé was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and custardy within, and the chocolate croissant had these endless layers, each bite flaking away to reveal the deep chocolate tucked inside. You can taste the skill and attention that goes into these pastries; it’s obvious they’re baked with genuine love.
Michette feels like it could quickly become a contender for one of Boston’s go-to bakeries. I’ll be back soon, and if you’re a pastry lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

“Outstanding Indian food, we are so lucky to have Masala in Union Square.”
“Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. Great food and drink!”

“I don’t have a single complaint with the food or our server, Oscar. Everything we ordered was delicious. I was a deep dish pizza skeptic until the Alice Pizza arrived. I’m a convert. We started with suppli, Caesar salad, followed by entrees of scallops, carbonara, thin crust mushroom pizza and rigatoni. Dessert was rice pudding and olive oil cake. Thank you Josephine’s!”
“This dark looking speakeasy has a deceptive entrance on the street. The bar tenders know what they are doing - they made me an excellent Old Fashioned, and everyone else enjoyed theirs drinks too. The heavy wood paneling gives it a sober and sophisticated atmosphere. A great place to enjoy a cocktail or two.”
“We feel loyalty to Juliet for serving the community in the pandemic. We've come back since then from time to time for decent enough meals. Alas our dinner tonight was just awful. The Clam Shack menu drew us, but the fried clam plate we shared was the worst we've ever tasted. Crunchy hard crust, flavorless, with nearly undetectable clams and one little lemon wedge, no tartar sauce or more interesting sub. And the pasta dish: gummy pesto-like veg combo on pre-cut fettuccine as if we're kids. Okay, enough whining from me, but I'm sad Juliet isn't better. We liked the ambiance of the bar.”
“This place is a tiny hole in the wall gem. We almost missed it because they don’t have much signage outside. The food, service, and drinks were great. Totally recommend getting a reservation and going there.”

“This charming little café offers delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches served on English muffins. The space is small, with just a few tables, but they also have a separate online order window, which is great for pick-up. My friend and I tried two lattes—one fall special and a vanilla oat milk latte—and both were solid, quality coffees. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying.
It was a bit busy, so we waited around 15-20 minutes, but it was worth it. We both went for breakfast sandwiches, which come in different varieties with optional toppings for an additional charge. Honestly, this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Even though it was on a smaller English muffin, it was hearty without being overly filling, and everything was cooked perfectly—especially the melted American cheese. The English muffins were soft and had a great flavor, much better than store-bought.
I got the egg and cheese sandwich with bacon and avocado, and I’ll definitely be back!”
“Nestled in Union Square is Maprang Café. Cute and cozy Asian café with endless pastry and sweet options. I have walked by this place a few times and was thrilled to finally try it and it wasn’t super busy when I walked in. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte and it was so delicious! The perfect amount of spice and a creamy finish. The food options also looked really pretty and colorful. I will mention the price points for the food options seemed a little pricey for the size and amount, but that is just my personal opinion. It is an adorable café and overall had a nice experience during my first visit.”
“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.
P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.”
“That's what was missing from Boston. Authentic Yeeros and everything else Greek .Horiatiki [from the countryside] salad ,the spinach or cheese pies are excellent and the Avgolemono soup is like my grandmother used to make, food for the soul .My new Go To for a taste of Greece!”
“We came for a conference here in Lowell and it broke out for lunch and thousands of people were looking for a place to eat all at once so it was super super busy and the line was long but the gentleman who was the server, the bus boy and everthing else all in one... did a fantastic job.. all with a smile and great service. The food was one of the best I've had in a Mexican restuaruant as well so I know the cooks know what they are doing. I can not get over how one man got everything done with such an amazing attitude. I hope noone complains about the wait because the service and food were outstanding.”
“Such friendly service and warm atmosphere! Love the interior, the booths were comfortable to sit at! Loved the personal photos on the wall and the bright colors of the decor. It was hard to choose what to pick since everything sounded wonderful. The hummus and cucumber mint dip with the hot pita were the best start with! Could have eaten just that for lunch but had to try the bowls. The falafels were crispy on the inside and soft and inviting in the inside. You could taste and see the freshness of all the ingredients! The mint lemonade, get yourself a pitcher! Finished with the homemade baklava, oh my gosh, so freaking flavorful! The family owned restaurant is top notch! Even if your not a vegetarian, you will enjoy the flavors and variety, also you will be full for the rest of the day! Looking forward to coming back next time in the area!”
“it is take out so atmosphere is a non issue ... although it is located in Bow Market which offers many seating alternatives including a coffee stop at Remnant Brewery. I love this place...the staff is friendly and efficient and everyone knows how to make a great b fast sandwhich with quality ingredients!! Pair it with a capacino from Remnant and it is the best breakfast in Union Square!!! (you wont have to take out a loan to pay for it either!)”
“Great staff, and a great bow market option.
No mandatory tipping like other bow businesses which is great, then you can tip properly and know the tips don’t go to management (mandatory gratuity is not actually ‘gratuity’, but rather a ‘fee’ that management can divert away from staff).
I want to say I love the beer every time, but I would still give the beer 4 stars. Sometimes they really hit the mark with their brews, and I love that they have cocktail options!”
“Great Atmosphere, Awesome Food, an Amazing Selection Of Drinks & Phenomenal Hospitality From The Entire Staff. The Whole Group I Was Enjoyed Ourselves & Will Return ?”

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”
“I came at 10pm to pick up takeout. The sweetest lady greeted me. A wonderful family restaurant, good hospitality. You can tell they make things from scratch and put their passion into it. Can’t wait to come back and try the chicharron. The empanadas were tasty! Super crispy.”
“No notes. Great food, atmosphere, and service. Drinks are always cold and the burgers are always juicy and delicious. If you're thinking about ordering a second basket of fries because you want your own, no need. The fry basket it huge and enough for two people.”

“My girlfriend and I took a cooking class at Dave’s Fresh Pasta and had an amazing experience. The Chef was extremely kind and went out of his way to make sure everyone was involved and having fun. He accommodated my girlfriend’s food allergy and made sure to have a separate cooking area set up for her. And of course the pasta was great and we can’t wait to use the recipe again ourselves. 10/10 would recommend”
“I liked their concept of having rotational menus allowing different chefs to have a place to cook and present their cuisine. Definitely a concept that needs more attention and visibility in the Boston food scene. I can’t remember what I’d ordered but it was delicious.”
“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.”
“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!
The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!”

“Top notch experience from the moment we entered the restaurant and were seated. Excellent service, beautiful decor, delicious food. Everything was perfect. I will return!”
“We live really close to daddy jones, and it’s become our go-to for dinner (and occasionally brunch!) now for the past three years. Their cocktails are always excellent & creative (and rotate seasonally). Their gyros are incredible, salads are so fresh, and we really love their lemon pepper wings and sweet potato fries. It’s a really cute date night spot, and the service is always fast and friendly. A bonus during the summer is the patio space in the back!”
“We ended up being the only people in the restaurant, but what a cool spot! The rolls were packed with unique flavor that left us craving more!! We're big sushi people so this was exactly what we were craving. 🍣 One of the highlights of our trip to Boston!”
“Great addition to Somerville! We stopped in and had a glass of wine at the counter while we waited for our pizzas to go. I love woodfired pizza and these did not disappoint. We had the Prosciutto di Parma and the Pollo both absolutely delicious. Very inviting atmosphere with fast and friendly service.”

“We are in Cambridge for a few nights and found Dali being a restaurant nearby. It turned out to be an unexpected surprise. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant was packed. The menu was extensive; the service was friendly; the meal was served quickly and delicious and the atmosphere was great. We ordered 4 tapas plus an order of focaccia and a bottle of wine. All come to less than $100 not including tips. A must try in Cambridge, MA.”
“I came here because I was in the outlet and I have discovered this place and I am glad that I did. First, the food is amazing and hands down the chicken is the best in town. Second, the cashir Malak is an amazing and kind person, her manager is great and kind too. They gave us a new item in the menu to try for free and it was amazing. Finally when we left we thought to order a pickup order to eat at home next day and when I came to pick up I found out that I had chosen the wrong branch by mistake. The cashier Malak and her manager solved the issue even when it was my mistake. I would come here again and again and would recommend everyone to try their delicious food.”
“Haven't been to a Legal Seafood since I lived in RI and that was over 10 years ago. My wife wanted to try it and I was ify on going but I would give it a try since I knew they were ok back then, they weren't the greatest thing around.
We got sat right away, we went for a early dinner since my daughter is very young. Our sever was great and food was very good. I got the scallops and street corn, it was very good and my wife got the stuffed lobster she really enjoyed it as well.”
“Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed by the host , then we were escorted to a table and were informed that Leah will be our server and she be with us shortly. And the fabulous hospitality continued through our meal. Every thing was perfect . However, I am writing to complain about the table next us (table # 20 ) . They were complaining about every thing to the server and making her night miserable by holding Leah hostage to their complaint. The manager came by yet they continue to complain and the manager offered them something else and they agreed . I have hearts saying to Leah that they were here before and complained on that night were the manager end buying their entire meal, and when the manager brought their food, the was lady not happy still, the manager apologized and bought their meal. Now the lady was at ease and she asked for to go boxes for both entrees , the one she did not like initially and new one the manager brought her.
I salute the manager for his skills in handling that lady but felt sorry for the server Leah for not getting a tip from the complainer.

“Exceeded every expectation, delivering an unforgettable dining experience that felt like a journey to paradise. From the very first bite, it was clear that each dish was crafted with utmost care and attention to flavor, balance, and presentation. Every plate was a celebration of fresh, bold flavors that left me savoring each moment. The drinks? Pure artistry! Perfectly mixed, refreshing, and thoughtfully paired to bring out the best in every dish.
And the desserts… they were simply sublime, the ideal finish to an extraordinary meal. I can’t overstate how impressive the ambiance was, transporting and beautifully curated to complete the experience. Tulum is more than just a meal—it’s a must-visit destination for anyone craving excellence. Five stars just don’t seem enough!”
