“It's been over 10 years since first coming here. And I'm so glad they're still thriving.
Still one of my favorite cocktail bars in the Boston area. Great mixologists with lots of knowledge and keeping it fresh with seasonal drinks and continually to push the limits on unique and special cocktails.
If you wanna just get hammered, probably not the place for you unless you're trying to show off with limitless funds.”
“Hands down the best in Davis. Don't think twice about going to eat here! 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 drinks Don't believe me? Go and see for yourselves! :)”
“Great little space, good food, loved the beer selection, fabulous jukebox .. staff were engaging and polite and funny”

“This is such a delightful place to come for a drink, a meal, and a date night. The Eaves is a terrific setting for an intimate 2 or 3 person evening. The entrance is a bit tough to find in Bow Market - though after entering, it's to hide the high quality atmosphere that's inside.
We got drinks after being seated and we're impressed by the flavor of drinks indicative of a cosmopolitan feel.
The food was most impressive. The spice level was very high and was balanced with the wonderful flavours provided. The vegetarian salad was a good starter, followed by ceviche and finally, the duck. That duck is still something I am thinking about - tender, juicy, and with just enough spice that makes me want more.
Our service complemented a wonderful evening. The staff were always attentive to our needs, happy to answer questions, and ensure we had a great time. Though it's a bit pricey, The Eaves deserves 5 stars, a bigger place, and another visit from us and others. Thank you for such a great time and hope to come again soon!”

“Zoe was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Super attentive and a pleasure to get to know. The food was delicious and perfect for a last night dinner in Boston!

“Michette is a gem tucked into the ever-evolving landscape of East Somerville. From the outside, the charming signage with little cartoons holding croissants pulls you in, but it’s the feeling once you step inside that really hooks you.
Walking in, it almost feels like you’ve crossed into a different era. The rich, dark wood and bustling energy give it this kind of timeless, grounded vibe. You’ve got a crowd inside, all clearly here with purpose, as the team behind the counter works like a well-tuned orchestra, each person genuinely engaged with their craft. Watching them work—rolling dough, restocking trays—makes it feel like you’re witnessing something rare in today’s fast-paced world: people who truly enjoy what they’re creating.
In a city where larger, established bakeries often dominate, it’s inspiring to see a small, grassroots operation like Michette making its mark. There’s something special about seeing the community embrace a place that’s focused so much on quality and craft. Their strive for excellence doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear that they’re pouring everything into this spot.
I tried their canelé and chocolate croissant, which lived up to their reputation. The canelé was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and custardy within, and the chocolate croissant had these endless layers, each bite flaking away to reveal the deep chocolate tucked inside. You can taste the skill and attention that goes into these pastries; it’s obvious they’re baked with genuine love.
Michette feels like it could quickly become a contender for one of Boston’s go-to bakeries. I’ll be back soon, and if you’re a pastry lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

“José and his crew always serve beautiful, fresh, delicious sushi with innovative flair! The newly designed space is stylish and comfortable.”
“Absolutely delicious!! We had the ribs and chicken wings - cooked to perfection. Our server was terrific and the ambiance was fun. We will definitely be back !!”
“Super cute place with amazing food and cocktails. The mixed design ceviche was delicious, with some of the most tender squid I've ever had. Being more familiar with Spanish shrimp dishes, the Camarón al Ajillo was a different take that was really well executed. I want to bathe in the Aji del Gallino. The floral flavors of the Aji peppers and other warm spices combined to make a new comfort food for me. The mousse de lacuma was a nice easy to finish the meal. Would definitely go back.”

“The food was very tasty, but the overall experience was a little unsatisfying. We had a reservation for 8pm but were not seated until 8:20, after being told it would be 10 minutes a few times. It was extremely loud and hard to hear each other talk, but I guess that speaks to how popular it was on a Saturday night.”
“We live really close to daddy jones, and it’s become our go-to for dinner (and occasionally brunch!) now for the past three years. Their cocktails are always excellent & creative (and rotate seasonally). Their gyros are incredible, salads are so fresh, and we really love their lemon pepper wings and sweet potato fries. It’s a really cute date night spot, and the service is always fast and friendly. A bonus during the summer is the patio space in the back!”
“This dark looking speakeasy has a deceptive entrance on the street. The bar tenders know what they are doing - they made me an excellent Old Fashioned, and everyone else enjoyed theirs drinks too. The heavy wood paneling gives it a sober and sophisticated atmosphere. A great place to enjoy a cocktail or two.”
“We feel loyalty to Juliet for serving the community in the pandemic. We've come back since then from time to time for decent enough meals. Alas our dinner tonight was just awful. The Clam Shack menu drew us, but the fried clam plate we shared was the worst we've ever tasted. Crunchy hard crust, flavorless, with nearly undetectable clams and one little lemon wedge, no tartar sauce or more interesting sub. And the pasta dish: gummy pesto-like veg combo on pre-cut fettuccine as if we're kids. Okay, enough whining from me, but I'm sad Juliet isn't better. We liked the ambiance of the bar.”
“Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. Great food and drink!”
“Love assembly row…this is a fantastic, yummy and fun addition! Great ambiance… staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend! :)”

“This charming little café offers delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches served on English muffins. The space is small, with just a few tables, but they also have a separate online order window, which is great for pick-up. My friend and I tried two lattes—one fall special and a vanilla oat milk latte—and both were solid, quality coffees. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying.
It was a bit busy, so we waited around 15-20 minutes, but it was worth it. We both went for breakfast sandwiches, which come in different varieties with optional toppings for an additional charge. Honestly, this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Even though it was on a smaller English muffin, it was hearty without being overly filling, and everything was cooked perfectly—especially the melted American cheese. The English muffins were soft and had a great flavor, much better than store-bought.
I got the egg and cheese sandwich with bacon and avocado, and I’ll definitely be back!”
“Nestled in Union Square is Maprang Café. Cute and cozy Asian café with endless pastry and sweet options. I have walked by this place a few times and was thrilled to finally try it and it wasn’t super busy when I walked in. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte and it was so delicious! The perfect amount of spice and a creamy finish. The food options also looked really pretty and colorful. I will mention the price points for the food options seemed a little pricey for the size and amount, but that is just my personal opinion. It is an adorable café and overall had a nice experience during my first visit.”
“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.
P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.”
“I had an amazing experience here! The moment we walked in they were super welcoming. Their food was absolutely amazing and what made my experience even more special was their generosity. They offered us some free food and went above and beyond which was super thoughtful. If you're looking for a local Greek restaurant in Somerville this is definitely the place. I'll definitely be coming back!”
“We came for a conference here in Lowell and it broke out for lunch and thousands of people were looking for a place to eat all at once so it was super super busy and the line was long but the gentleman who was the server, the bus boy and everthing else all in one... did a fantastic job.. all with a smile and great service. The food was one of the best I've had in a Mexican restuaruant as well so I know the cooks know what they are doing. I can not get over how one man got everything done with such an amazing attitude. I hope noone complains about the wait because the service and food were outstanding.”
“Such friendly service and warm atmosphere! Love the interior, the booths were comfortable to sit at! Loved the personal photos on the wall and the bright colors of the decor. It was hard to choose what to pick since everything sounded wonderful. The hummus and cucumber mint dip with the hot pita were the best start with! Could have eaten just that for lunch but had to try the bowls. The falafels were crispy on the inside and soft and inviting in the inside. You could taste and see the freshness of all the ingredients! The mint lemonade, get yourself a pitcher! Finished with the homemade baklava, oh my gosh, so freaking flavorful! The family owned restaurant is top notch! Even if your not a vegetarian, you will enjoy the flavors and variety, also you will be full for the rest of the day! Looking forward to coming back next time in the area!”
“it is take out so atmosphere is a non issue ... although it is located in Bow Market which offers many seating alternatives including a coffee stop at Remnant Brewery. I love this place...the staff is friendly and efficient and everyone knows how to make a great b fast sandwhich with quality ingredients!! Pair it with a capacino from Remnant and it is the best breakfast in Union Square!!! (you wont have to take out a loan to pay for it either!)”
“Great staff, and a great bow market option.
No mandatory tipping like other bow businesses which is great, then you can tip properly and know the tips don’t go to management (mandatory gratuity is not actually ‘gratuity’, but rather a ‘fee’ that management can divert away from staff).
I want to say I love the beer every time, but I would still give the beer 4 stars. Sometimes they really hit the mark with their brews, and I love that they have cocktail options!”
“Great Atmosphere, Awesome Food, an Amazing Selection Of Drinks & Phenomenal Hospitality From The Entire Staff. The Whole Group I Was Enjoyed Ourselves & Will Return ?”
“No notes. Great food, atmosphere, and service. Drinks are always cold and the burgers are always juicy and delicious. If you're thinking about ordering a second basket of fries because you want your own, no need. The fry basket it huge and enough for two people.”

“Delicious food and great value! The free shrimp chips were a delightful surprise, and the Chicken Hot Basil and Pho (no 2) were both yummy. The 10% cash discount made it even better. Highly recommend!
Parking: It is depends on which day you plan to go. Unlike weekdays, Sunday parking is free throughout the street, including in resident-only locations.”
“ill start with the shawarma being extremely underwhelming. east-coast metropolitan canada has spoiled me when it comes to a good shawarma: fluffy garlic sauce, meat that melts in your mouth, perfectly pickled pickles, a saj that’s dunked in the shawarma juice and flambéed on the grill. and this shawarma is not that. this is dry af and i don’t think there is good shawarma in boston. you should just do the 6 hour road trip to ottawa
but alas! this review is actually not for the shawarma because then it would’ve been much lower than this score. this review is for the baklava. for $5, you get a huge square of baklava that is so perfectly crisp and chewy. overwhelming flavour profile of floralness in the syrup - much more than other baklavas ive had in the Boston area and i LOVE it. orange blossom/rosewater is so under emphasized in baklava nowadays and noor does it so right….. for $5 how can you even complain?!?!? this is value maxxing. id come again and again and again just for this baklava. thank you for your service noor mediterranean grill”
“Wow!! Incredible food!! Definitely one of the best if not the best Indian food I’ve had in the Greater Boston Area. We got the paneer tikka masala with coconut rice and a cheese dosa to share and everything was absolutely delicious. The paneer tikka masala was so fragrant and flavorful and it was a perfect pairing with everything else we ordered. Dosas were definitely a lot bigger than I expected but it was a pleasant and welcome surprise. 10/10 recommend.”
“I came at 10pm to pick up takeout. The sweetest lady greeted me. A wonderful family restaurant, good hospitality. You can tell they make things from scratch and put their passion into it. Can’t wait to come back and try the chicharron. The empanadas were tasty! Super crispy.”

“My girlfriend and I took a cooking class at Dave’s Fresh Pasta and had an amazing experience. The Chef was extremely kind and went out of his way to make sure everyone was involved and having fun. He accommodated my girlfriend’s food allergy and made sure to have a separate cooking area set up for her. And of course the pasta was great and we can’t wait to use the recipe again ourselves. 10/10 would recommend”
“I liked their concept of having rotational menus allowing different chefs to have a place to cook and present their cuisine. Definitely a concept that needs more attention and visibility in the Boston food scene. I can’t remember what I’d ordered but it was delicious.”
“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.”
“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!
The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!”
“My family and I were in town visiting. We stopped here to get some food before heading home. While the wait was long, the food was so worth it. Not only was the hostess so accommodating and friendly, but the portions were huge and delicious! Between the 6 plates, we ordered Chicken, fried turkey and the fried pork(griot) which were all cooked to perfection! 10/10 would highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be back whenever we’re in the area again.”

“We ended up being the only people in the restaurant, but what a cool spot! The rolls were packed with unique flavor that left us craving more!! We're big sushi people so this was exactly what we were craving. 🍣 One of the highlights of our trip to Boston!”
“Definitely some of the freshest and tastiest seafood and innovative sushi and asian food I've had in a while, very fresh and tasty!”
“Great addition to Somerville! We stopped in and had a glass of wine at the counter while we waited for our pizzas to go. I love woodfired pizza and these did not disappoint. We had the Prosciutto di Parma and the Pollo both absolutely delicious. Very inviting atmosphere with fast and friendly service.”
“We were on our way back to our hotel from Porter Square and decided to eat before going inside for the evening. We found Zoe’s on Google and it felt like such a gift. It’s in a mostly residential area; however we did find parking after circling. I wasn’t familiar with the area (in the dark) and I was hungry :) so there may have been easier options.
The food was absolutely scrumptious, fresh tasting and abundant. The spinach was so good, I ate the leftover with my breakfast the next day.
Everything we ordered was tasty.
The customer care was top tier. We felt extra special. I definitely highly recommend and intend to revisit. Thanks so much.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a pleasant, wholesome family friendly environment.”

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”

“We are in Cambridge for a few nights and found Dali being a restaurant nearby. It turned out to be an unexpected surprise. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant was packed. The menu was extensive; the service was friendly; the meal was served quickly and delicious and the atmosphere was great. We ordered 4 tapas plus an order of focaccia and a bottle of wine. All come to less than $100 not including tips. A must try in Cambridge, MA.”
“I came here because I was in the outlet and I have discovered this place and I am glad that I did. First, the food is amazing and hands down the chicken is the best in town. Second, the cashir Malak is an amazing and kind person, her manager is great and kind too. They gave us a new item in the menu to try for free and it was amazing. Finally when we left we thought to order a pickup order to eat at home next day and when I came to pick up I found out that I had chosen the wrong branch by mistake. The cashier Malak and her manager solved the issue even when it was my mistake. I would come here again and again and would recommend everyone to try their delicious food.”
“Haven't been to a Legal Seafood since I lived in RI and that was over 10 years ago. My wife wanted to try it and I was ify on going but I would give it a try since I knew they were ok back then, they weren't the greatest thing around.
We got sat right away, we went for a early dinner since my daughter is very young. Our sever was great and food was very good. I got the scallops and street corn, it was very good and my wife got the stuffed lobster she really enjoyed it as well.”
