“Thank you to Chef Jon for allowing us to pick up a package of frozen dumplings during our visit to Artifact on Memorial Day. Cooked them up tonight and they were delicious, as was the edamame salad!!”
“What a gem. I’ve been to Junebug three times now and each experience has been awesome. The pizza is incredible, the cocktails are fantastic, and the service has been excellent every time. My husband and I took my mother here for her birthday in May and she is still talking about how much she loved Junebug and wants to come back.”
“One of my all time favorite spots in Somerville never had a bad meal. Great vibe and service always suggests it as one of the top spots in Somerville.”
“This was our second time dining at Ebi Sushi, and just like our first visit, everything was fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s service like hers that really adds to the experience. Jose, the owner, has truly outdone himself with this place. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s built from the quality of the dishes to the amazing team that brings it all together. We’ll definitely be back again before the new location opens, and we’re looking forward to visiting that one as well. Ebi Sushi has become one of our favorite date night spots consistently great food, great people, and a great vibe. 🍣❤️”

“Our favorite local coffee shop. They constantly pull delicious espresso, have a great selection of roasts, and the food always satisfies. The chocolate zucchini loaf cannot be missed! I also really appreciate that there’s no WiFi. It makes it easy to consistently find a place to sit because people aren’t camping out all day.”
“Great takeout spot. Fantastic bread and pastries, delicious sandwiches.
Disco egg & cheese: one of the best egg & cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Perfect little focaccia loaf, egg yolk that's soft but not runny, and some good cheddar. Pickled carrots are the cherry on top.
Earl gray scone: you can taste the earl gray throughout, nice thin but brown crust, soft inside. Perfect scone.
Cornbread muffin: Great cornbread with a nice bit of kosher salt on the top. Good top to bottom. My 13 year old ate it in no time.
House-made cardamom soda: Delicious! was gone in no time.
The owner makes everything herself and she's got some serious skills.”
“Melissa brought me the vegan empanadas they had made with their collab with Impossible meat. And do you know how hard it was to not eat all 4 at once?! So flavorful and yummy! The ingredients were well distributed throughout, the dough was absolutely delicious and everything was perfectly cooked. Everything she does is amazing and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!”

“This was the best night out I’ve had with my husband in a long time. The food was spectacular- I suggest the mezze platter so you can try everything, and of course the koshari. The mushroom fritters they had as a special were divine. The atmosphere and quality of service were top-notch and we will absolutely be coming here regularly.”
“I’m not an adventurous drinker, but my husband is and we loved the idea of a mystery cocktail! He rolled the dice and now we’re hooked. I don’t drink alcohol, but Tuane helped me through and we brainstormed together for a delicious mocktail. When the mystery drink arrived she was so knowledgeable about it!
We’re definitely coming back soon. Thank you, Tuane!!”
“Celeste is an excellent restaurant. The restaurant itself is charming and warm, the dishes were innovative and fresh, and the service was quick and helpful. The attention to detail was impressive - you'll see what I mean when you go. My favorite dish was definitely the Tucuma Mousse; it was luscious and subtle and different from anything I've had before.”
“Top notch experience from the moment we entered the restaurant and were seated. Excellent service, beautiful decor, delicious food. Everything was perfect. I will return!”

“Seemingly the only place in this entire city you can get fries at 6 am. All the mcdonald’s are somehow closed even though their hours on google say open or they straight up don’t offer fries in the morning, seriously what kind of fast food place sets hours on their fries? The people here even asked if I wanted ketchup after I forgot 10/10”
“This was my Daughter's birthday weekend and we wanted to Take her to one of the places that Guy Fieri Visited for DDD...making memories. What we got was so much more. Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. We will remember this forever and simply cannot thank you enough”

“First time at Olde Magoun's Saloon. Beyond amazing food and service. Our waiter ( didn't catch him name) tall gentleman with a beard was phenomenal! Friendly and efficient!!! The food was savory and fresh. We enjoyed the Irish Chicken Curry and the Besto Pesto sandwich!! First time to Boston and by far our favorite meal here.”
“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.
P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.”
“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.”

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”
“Hands down best bar in Boston. It's this generation version of cheers. Amazing to watch any game in and if you're not a Pat's even better. Although I miss the OG huevos rancheros the food is always on point and I've never had a bad meal there. I bike from beacon Hill where I'm surrounded by bars but theres only one I'd go out of my way to catch a game or grab brunch. It's parlor sports. I'll fight anyone that says otherwise to the above.”
“We had such a wonderful dining experience, largely thanks to Milli! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, and checked in just the right amount - never too much, never too little. Even when the restaurant got busy, Milli stayed calm, kept a smile on her face, and made sure our drinks were always topped up and our food came out perfectly timed. She clearly cares about giving guests a great experience, and it showed in every interaction. Service like this is what turns a good meal into a memorable one. If you're dining here, ask for Milli - she'll take great care of you. Will definitely be back!”
“This cafe is special, particularly for their pastries, which are better than most I've found in the Boston area. It also has a lovely ambience inside and on the patio. The owner appears to be French and he's bringing a simple, authentic French experience in the cafe. Crucially, it's very spacious so you can almost always find a table even at peak times. We also love the cocktails (very well made) and food in the evening.”
“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. Me, my daughter and my inner child drove home with smiles on our faces with food for my wife and my mother to enjoy!!! Amazing! We’ll be back soon!”
“The staff is extremely hospitable and is always happy to see a guest come into the shop- it’s such a great place to spend a morning having a snack and some coffee. The concept is really great- several friends who created a business together. Their treatment of customers clearly aligns with that.
The food, pastries, and desserts are phenomenal and their cakes, whole regular cake or custom design, are delicious and always turn out beautiful. They are also very willing to try to work to accommodate a customer on a custom cake or cupcake order.
If you’re looking for a real matcha latte and not a “cafe matcha”, theirs is delicious. While I’m not able to handle the punch of caffeine in their Vietnamese coffee too frequently, it is also delicious. Any of their teas or fruit-centered drinks are also great. I would highly recommend a strawberry jasmine with popping boba.
They do have parking behind the building, but just be sure to go in and grab a parking pass before sitting down for breakfast or dessert.
While it can get pricier with more items added to your order, it’s exceptionally clear that the prices support their business model- which focuses on a great customer experience while also providing good wages and a great working environment for all staff members.”
“Love assembly row…this is a fantastic, yummy and fun addition! Great ambiance… staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend! :)”

“Picked up some excellent (very reasonably priced) Portuguese bread loaf earlier today.
Will drop by for some additional breads to take away tomorrow too.
Good service!
Curiously, was told not to take pictures inside the store, even when I mentioned that I will pit up a Google review - of their excellent breads. My son in law, who had accompanied me shared a couple he had taken inside the establishment
Obrigada!! For the excellent breads.”
“Thank you Alan and Lotus Xpress for catering my husband's surprise 50th birthday party. Alan, you were wonderful to work with during the planning process- providing options and tending to all the details. The food was AMAZING! Delicious and a great variety. The day of the event, it was such a relief to have you there- catering to our 75 guests. As the host of the party, it gave me great ease knowing you were tending to the buffet and I was able to relax and tend to the guests! The food made the event. Thank you for helping make the event a success!”
“The service was great and the food was delicious. I went in and got some take out. Once the food was brought out I asked if I could eat a little bit at a table. My server allowed me to and brought me some water and side dishes. I got the jjambbong seafood noodles. I was assuming it would have a strong seafood taste but to my surprise it was a very mellow lime’ish taste. The broth was delicious and the noodles were a perfect blend of springy and chewy and held onto the broth great. It is a bit pricey but so are most restaurants. If your ever in the area I absolutely recommend buk kyung”
“The sandwiches here are MASSIVE and loaded up. Get the sourdough!! Easily the softest, most moist sourdough I’ve ever had.
The pastries are also good. They are known for the maple scone, which was good but I found it a little dry/chalky. The banana chocolate chunk muffin was great.”
“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.”
“Utterly delicious! Got a spicy beef bowl and it fixed me. I was meeting some friends and didn't have time to research any gluten free options in the area. Took a chance on this place and the hostess was very considerate of my dietary needs. Will definitely order again in the future!”

“Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. Great food and drink!”
“The energy of this space is as loving and chic as Somerville itself; looking forward to becoming a regular!”
“Had a fantastic time at the soft opening. The ambience was fantastic and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend.”

“I had an amazing experience thanks to Sophia! She was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout my entire visit. She truly went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm personality made all the difference. Thank you, Sophia, for the outstanding service!”
“We are in Cambridge for a few nights and found Dali being a restaurant nearby. It turned out to be an unexpected surprise. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant was packed. The menu was extensive; the service was friendly; the meal was served quickly and delicious and the atmosphere was great. We ordered 4 tapas plus an order of focaccia and a bottle of wine. All come to less than $100 not including tips. A must try in Cambridge, MA.”

“Gracie at the bar made my night. After a long days work I wanted nothing more than a couple old-fashioned and a great steak. And that is what I got. The steak was cooked to perfection, the lobster tails, incredible, and those garlic mashed potatoes are decadent. Truly are one of a kind meal thank you so much. Love that butter, old-fashioned too, that’s a special drink.”

“I originally decided to visit this restaurant because of its positive Google reviews, so I wanted to share my own experience as well.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food. We did have to wait quite a while for our meals, but since we ordered steaks, I found the wait understandable and acceptable.
One thing I truly appreciated was that we were seated at what felt like one of the best tables in the restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit.
The only downside was the music. The volume was quite loud, and while it started with softer background music, it would occasionally switch to much more energetic songs at a higher volume. Because of that, it was difficult to have a comfortable conversation at the table.
We were actually enjoying our meal and would have liked to stay longer, but the noise level ultimately led us to leave sooner than planned. Aside from that, we were very satisfied with the experience, especially the food, atmosphere, and service”

“This place deserves every bit of praise it gets! They really know how to put on a great event and everything feels so well organized and fun. The food and cocktails are incredible, the staff and owner are some of the best around, and the prices are seriously great for the Boston area. Whether you’re coming for an event or just to eat and drink, you will not be disappointed. This place is a gem!”
“This is a gem for a breakfast spot! The owner and his son are very friendly and generous. The food tasted amazing. We had the florentine omelet that was on special amongst other things and everything tasted amazing! The place is very cozy and overall highly recommended! Will definitely be coming back!”
“Very cute & cozy cafe.
I had the mango Lassi & veg puff, and they were both delicious.
Also tried the Chilli Parotta, and it was so good!
They routinely have special South Indian combo meals, and the food is so traditional & homely.
Love the interior design, especially on the ceiling. It blends culture into a unique cafe experience.”
“The 6-piece boneless chicken with Spicy Yangnyeom sauce was excellent. The chicken itself was perfectly prepared, but the sauce was the real standout. It was a great meal and I really enjoyed the experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for high-quality Korean fried chicken.”
“Public Tavern is a great spot to grab drinks and watch your favorite game. We usually go for Trivia Thursdays, which are always a fun time, and the $3 appetizer deal is a nice bonus. The mozzarella sticks are surprisingly good and definitely worth ordering.
It can get busy, and with usually only two bartenders managing the crowd, service can feel a little slow at times. That said, the staff handles the rush as best as they can.
Seating can also be a challenge. There often are not enough chairs, and if you arrive late to an event, you will likely be standing since someone else will have already taken the available seats.
The cocktails were somewhat hit or miss. The caipirinha felt a bit watered down and lacked the punch I was expecting, though the espresso martini was solid.
Overall, it is a fun, lively place for trivia nights and game days. With a bit more consistency in the cocktails, it would easily be a five-star experience.”
“Casual Pan-Asian kitchen with good chicken dishes.
Saw this place pop up recently on Highland Ave after Highland Pizza closed. It's a slightly unexpected spot for a Ginger Exchange, since most of their locations are clustered around college campuses, but it looked like they built this specific outpost primarily to serve as a high-volume delivery and takeout hub.
As usual, the menu here is massive. Covering almost everything from sushi to Korean and Thai dishes. The chain's owners also operate an internal ghost kitchen out of this same space called Bok Bok Chicken (not affiliated with the one over in Union Square). Most of the dishes we’ve tried so far were solid, but our favorites were their Thai chicken rice plates and the Korean chicken wings.”
