“We went here because is was apparently ranked one of the top 20 bakeries in the US. It is on par with other local bakeries and I'm not sure why this one ranked any higher since we got at least 5 pasties to sample plus the baguette and everything was fine but not out of this world. I actually prefer the pasties at Salt. It's also incredibly cramped inside so just be prepared to grab and go.“

“THANK YOU for offering vegetarian sandwich options that are unique and tasty! The coronation chickpea sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my LIFE. Also pictured: “all gussied up” sando, rhubarb soda, and malt vanilla frappe. All wonderful.
I’ll definitely be back!“

“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. Me, my daughter and my inner child drove home with smiles on our faces with food for my wife and my mother to enjoy!!! Amazing! We’ll be back soon!“

“Quaint little bakery and cafe! I’ve been dying to have more salt bread in my life, but this place’s hours are a bit wonky. To my surprise, they were open Fourth of July, so I stopped by for some breakfast snacks.
I got the salt and butter bread, blueberry sunrise, and strawberry white chocolate sunrise.
The salt and butter bread was a bit disappointing. It was chewy rather than fluffy. But it was quite large which is nice.
The sunrise buns had nice crispy tops. I liked the blueberry the most. It had more fruity flavor than the strawberry.
I also grab be a hojicha tea to cool down. Super refreshing!“

“Nice place to grabe something and go! They place itself is kind of small, so I wouldn't count on getting a seat. The staff is chill and friendly. We got the Feta and Cheese, Pepper Biscuit with sausage, and ice cortado with oat milk, and a mocha with maple brown sugar. The food was good, and the coffee was pretty soild. Kinda pricey though.“

“Petsi Pies in Somerville is a gem loved by people all over Boston. Their pecan pie is simply the best—perfectly sweet, with a great crust. If you’re looking for a classic pie done right, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to add a little extra to their Thanksgiving table or for birthday pie lovers!“

“Picked up some excellent (very reasonably priced) Portuguese bread loaf earlier today.
Will drop by for some additional breads to take away tomorrow too.
Good service!
Curiously, was told not to take pictures inside the store, even when I mentioned that I will pit up a Google review - of their excellent breads. My son in law, who had accompanied me shared a couple he had taken inside the establishment
Obrigada!! For the excellent breads.“

“This cafe is special, particularly for their pastries, which are better than most I've found in the Boston area. It also has a lovely ambience inside and on the patio. The owner appears to be French and he's bringing a simple, authentic French experience in the cafe. Crucially, it's very spacious so you can almost always find a table even at peak times. We also love the cocktails (very well made) and food in the evening.“

“Great vibe - I read about the bank part but was really impressed by the patio that wasn’t just chairs and tables pushed to the curb. I don’t recommend the strawberry vanilla latte at all, it was bitter and not terribly reminiscent of either flavor, but I trust that their more classic beverages are serviceable.“

“There’s a ramp to get in, but it is an odd turn and a bit steep and narrow at the entry (lined with chairs) so be careful. The latte was okay. The almond milk was good but the espresso was quite bitter. I did REALLY like the chocolate cake though. Fantastic!!!“

“I don't know if he was the owner or just one of the employees there, but the gentleman name Assiss was super awesome! My friend and I were a bit famished, but didn't want to buy food just yet. We both had something small in mind to hold us over. Muffins popped into my mind. We saw and drove by Mass Hole Donuts and thought of trying is, but didn't quite want sugar. We kept driving down the street when we saw Magnificent Muffin. We slightly passed it and immediately placed the vehicle in reverse and parked right out front. We got out only to find out they had just closed. The guy was behind the counter and I was pleading with him to open the door and he did. He told us he was out of muffins as they go fast. We were bummed. When he saw our reaction he offered to make us something else. We both ordered jalapeno bagels with cream cheese. He ended i'm finding a few tiny muffins left and gave it to us. The whole experience, the food everything was spectacular.Thank you, sir. We appreciate you!“

“Wanted to go where the line was not that long, this was the location to be. I understand the experience of going to the North End location with it being the original one but why wait in line ,when we had a Mike's Pastry close to our hotel in Assembly Row, so after watching a movie and some shopping we headed to this place ready for our sugar rush. This location had chairs and tables where you can actually sit and have a conversation, we ordered the recommended cannolis by the staff who was very patient with our questions, we did not feel rushed at all. Everything that we ordered was so good. The place was clean, and the restroom was notably clean as well. We got cannolis in the famous Mike's Pastry box to take back on our flight home. If you want to have a relaxed experience and close to where you are staying then this is the location to be.“

“Tate’s has become one of my favorite places to stop whenever I’m in the area. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently good. Their hot chocolate is absolutely amazing—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had and something I look forward to every time I visit.
The service is another reason I keep coming back. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very organized. Even when it’s busy, the service is fast and straightforward without sacrificing quality.
The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to relax with family or friends. I’ve been here several times, and every visit has been a great experience. I highly recommend Tate’s to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an amazing hot chocolate. I’ll definitely be back again and again!“

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!“
