“If you haven't been at Yafa bakery & cafe, u r missing out! I went today for the first time & I had the most amazing and delicious experience. This is the real authentic Palestinian kitchen & food. Amazing assortment of everything made from the best healthy ingredients. Hand crafted by the owner who's hospitality is graciously inviting. Everything I tried was so wonderful with the real taste that I know from home! I was so overwhelmed, the healthy ingredients, like the cardamom tea or the fresh mint juice or the nuts that are used into these recipes, you will be thankful & happy. Thank you for your hospitality, you made us so happy today. WOW is understatement, will be back!“

“I went for the raving reviews but I found this place perfectly adequate. The cream of wheat was indeed the star of the show. It came quickly and hot, but then it was about a 45-50 minute wait for our mains. We went on a Sunday morning so maybe this is as slammed as they get but I wouldn’t recommend if you are super hungry. It also took about 20 minutes to get a table, but you can put your name on a wait list and they have free coffee outside which is a nice touch. The mains were decent… far from the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was fine enough. Also heads up if you’re visiting from out of town/out of country it’s cash or venmo only.“

“I was excited to try this bakery, and it didn't disappoint! At Friday around 8am there was no line outside and plenty of items on display. I ordered the almond croissant, and wow was it was amazing. Buttery and flaky with a generous, even layer of frangipane throughout. I really appreciate how they make sure to fill even the ends of the almond croissant with a liberal amount of filling (oftentimes, I've found that bakeries only place filling towards the middle of the croissant). There's no seating inside, but there are some benches outside if you want to enjoy your pastries immediately. I recommend toasting them at home first - it was delicious warmed up!“

Brown Butter Pecan Pie

“Picked up some cutie pies this time, which were $4 each. The size is good if you want to try multiple flavors, but I feel like you get more bang for your buck if you pay $9 for a 5" pie instead. - Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Cutie Pie ($4): Very thick, rich, and chocolate forward (so much so that I didn't taste any of the pecan flavor). The texture of the filling was almost like that of an undercooked brownie. Wasn't bad but probably not something I would get again because of how heavy it was; I'm glad I only got a cutie pie because it would have been hard to finish more than this. - Mixed Berry Cutie Pie ($4): Mixed berry but I only tasted blueberries. Tasted like a classic pie. I liked the crumble. Overall, both pies were satisfying, but I enjoyed the brown butter pecan pie that I got last time more.“

“Have lived in the area a long time, first time visiting Le Macaron Boston at Assembly Row. Went there with a group of 5 adults and 5 young children on Monday 1/15/2024. The macarons, truffles, and other items we had were absolutely delicious! They had a wide variety of flavors, all of which were gluten-free (could not even tell the difference- they were phenomenal). The two people working today were absolutely outstanding. I really can not say enough about their hospitality, kindness, and generosity. Their kindness and welcoming attitudes were a major contribution factor to me leaving this review today, and I was just simply blown away. They went really out of their way to make today’s impromptu treat for our families top notch, and I honestly can not wait to return to try more flavors and support such a welcoming business in our community. We will be glad to return every time we are down Assembly Row, a true hidden gem.Parking: Street parking with meters, free on HolidaysKid-friendliness: Staff truly went out of their way to make my kids experience a fantastic one! The way they directly interacted with my children and our group is rare nowadays in the retail environment.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways, automatic door, wide retailAnd cafe space. “Great takeaway breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Can be overrun by hungover college kids by 10am. Yummy food but not enough room to hang out, nor would I want to considering the number of people lining up for breakfast.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is accessible but the waiting area is very tight. There is a threshold to get over and maybe not enough room to get a wheelchair in if it's busy. I am sure the staff at the counter would come to the door to take an order - they're good people.“
