I normally dont dont this but Komugi Bakery is absolutely a 5/5! You can really tell how much attention they put into every detail, especially when it comes to texture and flavor. Everything feels carefully made, with the perfect balance of softness, richness, and sweetness without being overwhelming.

The Sunrise bread is delightfully soft and fluffy. It paired perfectly with the nutty roasted flavor of the Iced Hojicha! I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture.
Quaint little bakery and cafe! I’ve been dying to have more salt bread in my life, but this place’s hours are a bit wonky. To my surprise, they were open Fourth of July, so I stopped by for some breakfast snacks.

Komugi Bakery & Cafe is a Japanese bakery that serves fresh baked Japanese style breads. Everything is freshly made and baked in-house, with incredible Japanese wheat and flavor. The coffee is good and incredible. Some winners with the pastries include the curry pan, which is warm and perfectly savory, and the salt bread, which is soft, flavorful, and buttery. The French toast is simply heavenly with a custardy pillowy sweetness. Other recommended items are the salt and butter bread with cookie topping, the sunshine, and the melon pan roll. The breads are soft, fresh, and warm, with the red beans square bread having just the right amount of sweet. Hours are limited from 8-2pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and they do sell out. It is to go only with limited space. The service is quick and top notch, and the staff clearly care. An absolute gem and a must try when in the area.
