I ordered a delivery from Tatte at Assembly Square, and when my order arrived, I found a lovely note apologizing for one of the items being unavailable. They thoughtfully substituted it with something else and even included some cookies as a little bonus!

Great bakery cafe -- a chain, but a quality one.
I docked one star for service only because I frequently find that the counter staff either mishear me when I order or get confused by questions or how to work the register, and this has happened at more than one location. But otherwise, no complaints. The food and drinks are quite tasty, and it's a good place to meet up with a friend for a meal.

I've no idea why these coffee shops exist, let alone are popular.
