“Super cute place with amazing food and cocktails. The mixed design ceviche was delicious, with some of the most tender squid I've ever had. Being more familiar with Spanish shrimp dishes, the Camarón al Ajillo was a different take that was really well executed. I want to bathe in the Aji del Gallino. The floral flavors of the Aji peppers and other warm spices combined to make a new comfort food for me. The mousse de lacuma was a nice easy to finish the meal. Would definitely go back.“

The Clam Shack menu drew us, but the fried clam plate we shared was the worst we've ever tasted. Crunchy hard crust, flavorless, with nearly undetectable clams and one little lemon wedge, no tartar sauce or more interesting sub. And the pasta dish: gummy pesto-like veg combo on pre-cut fettuccine as if we're kids. Okay, enough whining from me, but I'm sad Juliet isn't better. We liked the ambiance of the bar.“

“This charming little café offers delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches served on English muffins. The space is small, with just a few tables, but they also have a separate online order window, which is great for pick-up. My friend and I tried two lattes—one fall special and a vanilla oat milk latte—and both were solid, quality coffees. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying.

It was a bit busy, so we waited around 15-20 minutes, but it was worth it. We both went for breakfast sandwiches, which come in different varieties with optional toppings for an additional charge. Honestly, this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Even though it was on a smaller English muffin, it was hearty without being overly filling, and everything was cooked perfectly—especially the melted American cheese. The English muffins were soft and had a great flavor, much better than store-bought.

Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. “We were hungry while visiting Bow Market and Saus caught out eye. We got a large poutine with kimchi topping and the Sommerville Dip. They came out in about 15ish minutes. Both were great! The Sommerville Dip was a bit too salty for my taste - the sandwich and dip were both salty by themselves so the combination can be too salty for some.

This next part is more of a general comment for Bow Market but it was very hard for us to find seats as there were lots of visitors to the market that weekend. I also don't recall any seating inside Saus itself (or any of the other eateries).

“Great spot for delicious vegetarian food as well as fantastic smoothies. One of my favorite meals are the rainbow harvest and teriyaki tofu bowls. The rainbow harvest is a party for your mouth and I’m personally a big fan of sweet potato so highly recommend that one. The teriyaki tofu bowls is best ordered in when it’s hot and steaming. The tofu provided is crispy and complimented well by the umame of the mushrooms as well as the saltiness from the soy sauce. I also decided to try out the strawberry and cream chia bowls which satiated my sweet tooth. I love the variety of texture the chia seed provides when mixed with the oats as well as the sweetness provided by the coconut yogurt and strawberries.
One thing I really appreciate about life alive is their nutritional content is listed so if you are looking to track your macros for weight gain, loss or just general health it’s great. While the menu doesn’t have as much protein as restaurants that have meat in them, they are quite satiating as a lot of items are filled with fiber and a decent amount of protein. You surely won’t leave feeling hungry.
The reason I listed the atmosphere as four stars is being a fantastic place attracts a lot of customers and it can be a bit difficult to find seating indoor at times especially seating near a charger incase you are looking to get work done.“

“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“
