“Very satisfying food and great service. I got the lamb momos (very meaty big dumplings!) and lamb korma (creamy, nutty curry). I was afraid it would be too much lamb but the flavors of each were different and delicious.

The garlic naan was just how I like it: soft and thick (even the thinner parts were nicely doughy; I don't like when it's crispy and very thin).

The mango lassi was perfect: not overly sweet, very mango-y.

It all came with a rice plus nice little spiced rice pudding on the house!“

“Adorable Nepali restaurant from which I have enjoyed every dish I've had. It is quickly becoming a favorite of mine in the area. Love their biryani, tandoori, curry, steamed momo, and gorkhali kukhura. The chicken and meats are fresh and so well seasoned.

Everyone at the Zomsa is kind and friendly. The restaurant itself is also immaculately clean and tastefully lit and decorated.“

“Dined in while staying a night nearby. I can say this is honestly some of the best Nepalese food I’ve ever had. It’s clearly a family owned establishment and everything appeared to be made from scratch.

“It’s a small kitchen restaurant at the back of a modest Nepalese grocery store. but don’t let that fool you. The momos and thupka were among the best i’ve ever eaten! This place is a hidden gem! The host is nice and kind and everything about this place says authentic and masters of their art!“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“They have the best Nepali food around the town! Great food, always fresh & delicious! Unlike many places, they prepare separate broth for chicken and pork soup dishes. Pork thuppa & chicken thuppa have delicious different broth so it’s great for people who do not eat pork.“

I ordered vegetable pakora, chicken momo(steam), Lamb Vindaloo, and chicken biryani.
The vegetable pakora was so good and came out hot and fresh. Very flavorful ? solid 10/10
The momo was good as well but it was my first time trying and thought it would be more honestly. Not bad at all though sauces really helped. 6/10 personally.
Lamb was very well seasoned as expected but the meat was a little bit tough. We ordered hot and it did not provide the expected kick. Still very good and came out hot and a perfect portion. 7/10
Now the chicken biryani was such a hit and the portion was insane. Solid 10/10 as i spent most of my morning looking for somewhere off of other reviews. Based on other reviews after visiting it did not disappoint. Was so amazing and the chicken was tender and packed with flavor. again 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is definitely a place I will be returning to in the future.

regarding the service the tables were a bit sticky… but i’m sure it was because of the scorching heat. It did take a little bit long BUT the food came out so hot and fresh it was worth the wait!!“
