“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“Seoul Soulongtang will always be my fav! My favorites are the seolleongtang, galbitang, and grilled pork belly.

There was honestly nothing better than coming here for a warm bowl of soup after a full day of classes during a cold Boston winter. It was always such a comforting and happy part of my day. This place holds so many good memories for me, and the food never disappointed.“

“I ordered the sashimi don and it was much larger than I expected. The fish assortment was fresh and they gave a lot of that, which I really enjoyed. However there were green chili under the fish and I didn’t see it because it blended with the veggies. The menu also didn’t say this, and it was a big issue for me as I cannot eat spicy at all. I initially thought it was the gochujang, but the hotness got worse and worse and I almost couldn’t continue eating. The restaurant should really specify these things as it’s not obvious from just the menu name.

Nevertheless, the staff were really nice and helpful and I appreciate their service. The store was decorated with a homey japanese / korean vibe. The toilet was a bit old and smelled, but other than that it was a great experience. Might go back and order something else.“

“Solid pizza here. I might even say that it possibly beats La Befana. Oh my God, it has an appetite, but I'll tell you what, having a slice of pepperoni filled me up here. Super tasty. They don't skimp out on the cheese and it's great quality. Rustic, enjoyable crust, and the sauce is simple, yet flavorful. To truly enjoy a pizza place, order a full pie and you'll not be disappointed at this spot! Also, I was very impressed with their wide array of drinks. They had a Diet Coke with Lime - and had no idea that existed.

Music was fun to listen to, and the staff is friendly. The only real recommendation is to have a small pot of heated marina. Their mozzarella sticks were really good. I just like the best one hot marinara sauce is served on the side.“

“They have a long list of cocktails, and they all seem interesting and original.

I got a half-liter Paulaner, that unfortunately was served warm, hence the four stars. For food, we tried the tuna tostados; the portion was surprisingly small, and a bit disappoiting.

Service was great and very attentive. They have a patio by Commonwealth Ave that is great a quick bite in the afternoon.“

“Super cool place! You fill a bowl with whatever soup ingredients you want and pay by weight. You then choose a broth and the meal is cooked for you. The sauce bar is customizable and free with a meal. My friend and I loved the selection of toppings and will definitely be back. There is usually a wait list in the evening and they don’t take reservations ahead of time, so go early and put your number/name in!“

“Love Seoul Topokki! Such a cozy little spot with really comforting Korean food and great portions. The cold noodles were amazing, and the tteokbokki had some of the best texture I’ve had in Allston. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Korean food.. go support this place!“

“I really love super 88 food connection, it's a staple place food is delicious only four vendors left but food is good customer service 👍. Is great we need to support this place more. “I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup. Very generous portions, good prices, and delicious broth. Minus one star only because the beef was a bit dry, I would have preferred a slightly fattier cut if possible. Other than that, absolutely delicious and would definitely come again. “Pretty good pizza with many options for slices as well as takeout. Lots of sides and options other than pizza.

Friendly and patient staff. Service was fast and would 100% visit again!

“Steamed dumplings are great. Other dishes are OK.

We visited the store are week day lunch time. It was before the school year started so the restaurant was pretty empty. The service was fast and attentive, and the dishes were served fast.

We ordered three different types of steamed dumplings. Pork, beef and vegetables. Pork one were the best. The meat was juicy with balanced flavors. The beef one were a little dry and one was open. The vegetable ones were a little plain less flavorful, and a little too starchy.

The stinky tofu was good. The chicken tasted like fried too long kind of dry.

If you visit the restaurant, try steamed dumplings for sure.“

“This place is way better than the quincy one. They are very knowledgeable of their products very friendly and very efficient with answering my questions. Donna was very cheerful and helped me order my food I would sefinitly go to this location over the quincy location and they have even more products. And they actually have the products on their menu. Multiple times I went to the quincy location and they didn't have the pork katsu bowl or sandwich on multiple occasions. The Allston one does. I would highly recommend this location.“
