“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“I usually like the food here but the service is usually terrible. I think if they improved their service, the restaurant would be somewhere I’d like to return to. This was my third or fourth time but this last experience made me not want to come back. 😔

The food taste/quality also wasn’t as good as I hoped. Mandoo ttuk guk didn’t have enough mandoo and too much ttuk - they should also bring a burner so the guk stays hot.

I think the waitress got mad bc I asked her to switch out a combo item for bulgogi which cost less than galbi - I was confused about why they wouldn’t want to do that.“

“Spontaneously chose place after my graduation. First time being here. Party of 10 and we all enjoy ourselves, and the food. Our servers were friendly and organized. Definitely a place reserved for celebrations, our bill was over $600.

Side note: if they had a buffet style, One Price all you can eat, it would be realistic to come here more often. I like a balance between quality and practicality. The quality was good, but not practical on a consistent basis due to the high (accumulative) prices. Everything is priced individualy and separately, including the broth. This can add up quickly. “We are the Harvard Korean Association (HKA), a group of undergraduate Korean-American students at Harvard. For one of our major events involving Korean-Americans across the school, Seoul Topokki was our catering of choice. 사장님 was so kind and helpful in supporting us and the food was of course so delicious. A lot of the students rated this some of the best Korean food they’ve had in the area, and many of us hadn’t had such good authentic Korean food since leaving home. Seoul Topokki remains our students’ favorite food places and we are so happy we spent all our food budget here!! Thank you Seoul Topokki!“

“This is honestly my favorite place! The two owners are always so kind and welcoming, and they make every visit feel special. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and everything is always fresh and clean. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get.

“I'm glad I gave Hopewell another chance - the outdoor dining is so nice! I had a poor experience here years ago so was hesitant to return, but gave the outdoor dining a shot and was pleasantly surprised!

The chicken sandwich was banging, chip dip is awesome. Good cocktails. Not terribly priced either. I'll def be back - glad we have at least two solid outdoor options on Comm ave for the summer.“

“I really love super 88 food connection, it's a staple place food is delicious only four vendors left but food is good customer service 👍. Is great we need to support this place more. “I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup. Very generous portions, good prices, and delicious broth. Minus one star only because the beef was a bit dry, I would have preferred a slightly fattier cut if possible. Other than that, absolutely delicious and would definitely come again. “Came here with a group of friends while visiting Boston and this meal was truly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Wow wow wow. We came in right before close but ordered a great variety to share between 6 people: dumplings, garlic green beans, a chive pocket, orange chicken, and these spicy beef noodles that were life changing. I wish we got two plates of the spicy beef noodle dish & considered coming back the next day for more before we left town!!“

“Absolutely incredible experience. I got to try some new Korean staples and get some that I already knew I loved. This was the only Korean spot I checked out that had all three dishes I wanted (Korean fried chicken, japchae and Tteokbokki) all of which were delicious. The waitress was very lively and fun, and she was interactive with our table throughout the meal. We also got the tsunami bowl which definitely have more than three people to tackle. It was so delicious and almost never ending. I would go here every day if I could. Hands down the best Korean food I've ever had. 5 stars is not enough.“
