“Cecilia is the best.My order was being delivered with a missing item, she called me immediately and she personally sent another Uber with the missing item and gave me a free cookie.Everything was perfect the warm bowls are so savory and healthy and taste amazing!“
“A fantastic addition to Cambridge for vegetarians looking for, in my opinion, the best American cuisine. Great faux options, such as their buffalo chicken sandwich. When we visited, the owner was there, greeting customers and talking about their thoughts. It was great to hear what his vision was and some of his story. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Great option for delicious, more indulgent options. Still plenty of fresh greens and tasty faux meats.“
“My favorite pizza in the UNIVERSE! Amazing, unique flavors, perfect crust. Awesome vegan and gluten-free options. Can't go wrong with this place. Every time I come home from traveling abroad, the first thing I want is one of their Cauliflower Manchurian pizzas. So happy they are open and delivering during this time. If I'm going to support local restaurants, Veggie Crust, I want to support you! Thank you for your high standards and fantastic food. Looking forward to my next slice!“
“Initially I was concerned that I wouldn't find any vegan options in Boston. The Life Alive Organic Cafe in Cambridge was a great find. They are plant based having vegetarian and vegan options. The food is fresh, quality and the tastes a great.A wide range of dishes including warm grain bowls, salads, wraps, noodles and soups, and desserts. The beverages include smoothies, cold pressed juices, coffees, teas and suoerfood.lattes.This is definitely on par with the best vegan food I have had in London. Free WiFi, great food and service what more could you ask for. A short distance from MIT you should put it on your to do list.Pictured are Miso Tofu Ramen, Grilled Pita and Blue Breeze.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Long overdue review since I've been a regular here for years, and try to go every time I'm in Boston. The food is amazing and will be appreciated not only by vegans and vegetarians, just outstanding quality diner food. The place looks like a cute diner as well and the service has always been great. The team works super hard and gets food out quickly even on very busy days! Love everything about this place and hope to continue coming here for years to come :)“
“Awesome place for a casual dinner with friends. Great food, incredible service, and the open kitchen is fun to watch—kitchen staff here is insanely talented, and the spectacle of the wood fired oven going is unbeatable. They’ve got a great selection of local beers on draught, and candlepin bowling too!The food isnt cheap which can be a bit offputting for pizza, but the prices reflect the quality and care the staff puts in. Absolutely worth it!Dietary restrictions: Nut free dining! Very accommodating of dietary restrictions“
“Food I'll come back for! You order at the door, so best to check the menu before coming in, to make sure you get seated the quickest. They'll serve your food after the order. The food and drinks were ?? They do have the cold pressed drinks in bottles. So if you're eating in, maybe skip them. We had the Spicy Peanut Noodles, The Adventurer Bowl, Elote Avacado Salad and and drink Frozen Mochaccno, Orange Blossom Cold Press and Ginger Crush. They were the best.Vegetarian options: All Vegetarian, killer food!Dietary restrictions: Would accomedate any dietary restrictions. All option clearly marked on the menu.“
“It was Ladies' night for us, and we popped into Banyan. We love the décor, atmosphere, drinks. We instantly loved Jimmy who gave us the warmest welcome like we were old friends. We ended our night in Banyan and are eager to go back for a meal!“
“Crying Thaiger had a super cute atmosphere and the food was delicious. I got Thai iced coffee, fried tofu (the sauce was so good), and Pad Thai with Tofu. There were lots of vegetarian and gluten free options which was awesome. The servers were very friendly.Dietary restrictions: The menu was clearly marked for vegetarian, gluten free, and spice level for all of the items.“
“just finished lunch here, and what a treat! the saag paneer that a friend ordered was flavorful, and my onion rava dosa was crispy and delicious!! will be back to try some of the interesting looking fusion dishes (lots of indo Chinese options, and a pav bhaji dosa looked especially interesting) check this place out if you're in Waltham!“
“I’ve been waiting for a vegan fast-food type restaurant to open in the area for a while and was so excited to discover PLNT Burger. It was easy to locate in Whole Foods, placed toward the front of the store by the kitchen and bakery area. I ordered ahead using the website and it was all ready when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! I would highly recommend PLNT Burger to anyone looking for a quick vegetarian or vegan meal. I found the vegan soft-serve to be particularly exciting and it was amazing!“
“Great vegan spot with good food. The kids menu was helpful and the space is nice. It's great to not have to think about dietary restrictions here with everything clearly labeled.Vegetarian options: Entire menu is vegan, including house-made saucesDietary restrictions: Entire vegan menu with clearly labeled gluten free items and ingredients listedParking: Parking can be difficult depending on the day and time. The streets in the area are all meters which are free on SundaysKid-friendliness: There was a kid section on the menu. The Mac and cheese comes with a chorizo topping that was too spicy for my kidWheelchair accessibility: Entire restaurant was accessible“
“Life Alive Organic Café has been a consistent favorite of mine during graduate school, serving as a reliable spot for healthy and tasty meals. With over 300 meals enjoyed here, I can confidently say that it offers a great variety of fresh, organic options that cater well to anyone looking to maintain a balanced diet. The café itself has a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for both studying and relaxing. Their commitment to quality ingredients and sustainable practices shines through in every dish. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. For anyone in the area looking for nourishing food in a pleasant setting, Life Alive is definitely worth a visit. It’s been a great support to my routine of fitness and yoga, providing meals that are not only good for you but also delicious.“
“Moved to the area a few months ago and Tasca has become a regular favorite! Each dish has been delicious, every server has been kind and attentive, and the drinks are also great. They are only open in the evenings which provides a nice atmosphere as well. Overall well worth it!“
“First time visiting this place staff was really helpful with me since I had a gastric bypass surgery and I wanted to know which one was a good choice for me because I don't eat spicy food recommended me the chicken avocado salad.Dietary restrictions: Gastric bypass surgery“
“Our favorite vegan pizza in the greater Boston area. Whole wheat crust (ask for it) is thin and crispy, and the toppings are generous. Also, the flavor of the marinara tomato sauce in their pasta dishes is simply remarkable. Garden Vegetable penne is my favorite. Service is polite and prompt. Haven't had a bad experience yet after dining here about 10 times.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian, mostly vegan (with modifications). Servers are fully knowledgeable and can easily accommodate vegans“
“I've had their Indian food and their pizza. Everything was really good. The Indian food is some of the best around, and surprisingly so is the Pizza. I like that their large pizza is 16" (as they should be). Given the good taste, quality, and portion sizes, their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend“
“We were lucky seated at the only available table on a Sunday afternoon. We weren't aware they only do brunch on Sundays, nonetheless the food was good. We had the gobi Manchurian which was cold as it was sitting at the kitchen for a while. The shakshula(shakshuka) was good and the lentil soup was good and served at the right temperature. The service was a 2/5 as the waiters took too long to take orders, bring food that was ready. The place was fully packed and the kitchen is doing a great job in keeping up with the rush. Would try again on a weekday for their regular menu“
“Burgers on point straight fire better than meatVegetarian options: U can for cheeseDietary restrictions: Soy free meat dairy freeParking: Very convenient parking lotKid-friendliness: Kid’s menu is reasonablyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Life Alive is part of a plant based dining chain focused on nutrient dense dishes and seasonal ingredients. Each dish feels super healthy yet delicious and doesn't leave me feeling heavy after eating it. There is a nice variety of flavors available on the menu and the only item I've tried and not liked is the acai bowl. Prices are a bit high but I'll definitely be back in the near future.“
“As always, Otto's Brookline was a total delight. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the salad (my friend and I always get the awesome caesar) and the pizza (small cheese and sausage/vidalia onion, both crispy crust) were soooo good. We go with the early dinner crowd, so lots of families and little kids. Great fun atmosphere! can't wait to go again next week!“
“The bottom line of the visit is they have Jain menu separately so what else you need. The food was great we ordered Uttapam, paneer tikka, mirchi bhajji and filter coffeeOn the next day we also went this place for the weekend buffet and even in the buffet they have plenty of options in jain food. The staff were so nice and genuine. On special request (religious reasons) they allowed my mom to have outside home food and they made complimentary hot chocolate milk for her. So sweet gestureOverall this place was highlight of my Boston trip with parents.“
“Made a quick stop here and got the Hot honey cup and char pepperoni and goat cheese pizza. I’m not a big fan of goat cheese but my friends loved it. Never thought about honey on pizza but it was bomb. My favorite was the spicy pulled pork with scallion. It’s so cheesy. Definitely coming back to try the mashed potato pizza.“
“We went for lunch there and ordered poke nachos, ahi tuna stack, sliders , truffle fries , orange chicken and Baja fish tacos. Poke nachos and ahi tuna stack were most delicious out of everything we ordered. if you are a fan of raw tuna and avocado, then this is for you. Truffle fries were great as well. The rest of the food was good too. Service was good considering they were very busy on a Sunday. They got us a table right away. Ambiance is lacking, there isn't much in terms of decor, it's very noisy , but we didn't mind because it is a very casual place and the food was tasty.“
“I had never heard of Shabu in Quincy until I saw it on instagram and thought it was a new restaurant. I saw they have a lunch buffet deal which is $39 for all you can eat hotpot. It is a very small restaurant with a bar area and probably 6 tables inside but thankfully when I went there were a few tables open. The price does not include the broth and they have some good options to pick from. I got the szechuan spicy and miso broth, which were both solid. I tried the sirloin beef, fatty beef, and regular beef and the sirloin beef was some of the best hotpot meat I have had. For $39, it may seem a little bit pricey but the quality of the ingredients is very high. The sirloin beef was better than some a la carte meat I have had at premium hotpot places. I got my usual hotpot ingredients such as noodles, watercress, enoki mushrooms, and different types of tofu and all were good. They don't have a sauce bar like they do at Chinese hotpot but they have a few ingredients where you can make your own sauce which although it was simple, was very tasty. This place is really good but I wish they did dinner buffet since I prefer other places for a la carte hotpot. Overall, really solid spot, friendly and quick service, and it was a satisfying meal.“
“Excellent food and service! I love the Yard House—they have such a vast menu with plenty of options and I’m never disappointed with the quality of the items. Reasonably priced too. I ordered the seared tuna sandwich which was phenomenal. Very flavorful and would definitely order it again. The spinach dip appetizer was great as well—I just wish they gave more dip.I also loved my drink! I got the Pineapple Express and it was tasty.“
“Considering this is a health food type place, the food wasn't the worst. Prices were low but portions were small. My friend got the avocado toast which was salty and small. The hash was good though in my opinion. The breakfast sandwich was ok.Service wasn't amazing even though we were there before the morning rush but not bad. Overall ok, I would recommend for the vibe only.“
“I am so grateful you have remained open for pickup. I walk by this store on the way to my night shift as a nurse at MGH, and am so happy I can pick up a fresh, healthy meal to get me through the night. I know it must be hard to stay open with such low volume, but, believe me you are doing a wonderful service in this tough time. Thank you so very much. I hope you all stay well and there will be good things to come!“
“It's my first time, but so far, I love everything about this place. It's clean and comfortable, with a friendly and professional staff. My "build your own" warm bowl was delicious, healthy, and affordable. Bonus: They offer a discount for bringing back your bowl, and my takeout order came plastic-free!“
“My friends and I visited on a whim on our way to pick pumpkins, and we can't help but overwhelmingly recommend it. From my understanding it's mainly - if not only - run by Masao himself, and we agree he's doing a lovely job. The atmosphere itself was very cozy and welcoming, and I definitely suggest dining in if you'd enjoy a space to take it slow and savor the peace. Can't stress enough that the food is good!! I was very happy to find nearly everything on today's menu was gluten free as one person in our party can't have any, and it was all very fall-oriented flavors. I especially liked the BBQ tofu, butternut squash millet, black bean stew, and the vanilla custard.“
“The seating goes fast. This place doubles as a good eatery and a place where people hang out just to do their studies or work. The menu will please you whether you're vegetarian or not. The meals are priced fairly - I would not say the same for the smoothies, but they do taste good. Outdoor seating in the summer.“
“The sweetgreen at Fenway always gives a good amount that's worth the price! The quality of the ingredients are always great and seems fresh as well. I enjoy eating at the location because it has a good amount of seats inside, but when the weather is pretty I like to sit outside and enjoy the ~vibes~!The workers at this location also are very nice and like to be good with the amount they give for food, so I love that! And they are overall friendly to talk to. I would order from here overall!“
“First time in Boston and had just gotten off the train. We really wanted something light and on the go and stumbled upon an area packed with food shops and options. I'm so happy we found this little smoothie spot and they had exactly what we were looking for! I got a tropical smoothie which was delicious! The man working was also very patient and kind. I think maybe there should have been a 2nd person to help during the lunch hour, but the wait was the same as other coffee/smoothie places regardless. Thank you!“
“Now Market is adorable and my friend who is local recommended we stop at Saus. Primarily vegan friendly offerings. So, the chicken sandwich is definitely tasty, the fries are just right, but the star of our visit there was the French dip, which was bursting with flavor. It was so good, we ordered a second one. My husband, who eats an omnivorous diet said it was better than any meat French dip he’s had. It’s on a crisped roll and the tender veggie meat is slightly charred, adding to the texture, flavor and bite.“
“I tried the Shroomami. It was filling with lots of different ingredients, which added a nice depth of flavor and texture variety. I appreciate that the nutrition is listed on the website, but these bowls are not as healthy as they are marketed to be if you look at the macros, which is my only gripe. However, this is a good catering option for work if you want something slightly healthier for your employees.“
“I picked up a food delivery job just before the covid lockdown (great timing since I worked in retail..), and they have to be doing something right as I prob get more orders from them than almost any other place. And they've always got the pick-up/delivery orders running on time and on point! Not a single customer complaint (and their customers tip drivers accordingly, considering were gassing up our cars to deliver to people in the middle of a worldwide viral pandemic). Love doing pickups here! Great staff, clearly awesome menu! While you can't currently dine in, please order take out/delivery/buy gift certificates to help them get thru this!“
“Food:The Shroomami Bowl was DELICIOUS! Even though it was kind of cold the time I got home, I still devoured it (the ingredients were SO fresh).Only thing is... they missed my bread in the order (lol) and was a bit sad because their bread IS delicious lol.The Crispy Rice Bowl which I ordered at the restaurant directly (I had a reward thru the app, which is always nice hehe), was a bit disappointing though. The salad wasn't packaged well, and it was a bit flavorless in my opinion.Service: I ordered thru the app so it was ready by the time I got there. The food is really fast.Ambiance: The store is really nice, I was so happy when they opened a SG by Assembly, because it's in such a nice & fun area! I can't wait to come back for a sit down meal, and try more delicious meals.“
“I love this place! I only order from Uber eats as they have a really great offer in there, and I always order the brownie too (it’s so delicious). I always hope they give me some more by mistake lol. The stir fry and brownie literally give stars! I will continue to order on the days that we don’t feel like cooking:)“
“We enjoyed dining here. It's a cozy spot, and we almost had the place to ourselves. We sat down at a table and chairs that were lower to the ground, with what resembled a colorful inverted woven basket atop the table. The waitress took this off when the food arrived. Started with lentil sambosas, which were quite tasty. Buttery flaky exterior and nicely cooked (not mushy) lentils inside. It seemed that the combo was the way to go, based on previous reviews we had read. We got beef and chicken. I was partial to the chicken, which had a flavorful and tangy sauce, with a kind of molé consistency. I was happy with the array of veggies we got too. Keep in mind this was all served atop injeera bread, a kind of spongy, very thin, bread great for scooping up sauces. We had to order extra injeera to finish all our scooping. I think we were both partial to the lentil, although I remember enjoying all the vegetable sides. It was a nice array of textures- some mashed, and some whole. We also got to see an interesting coffee preparation, with smoking coffee beans. The coffee must be excellent.“
