“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.“

“I got the Mac ‘N Stack with a potato salad side, the New England Clam Chowder, and a peanut butter chocolate frappe. It was so good! The potato salad and clam chowder were just like my memories from before going vegan, and the peanut butter chocolate frappe really brought me back to childhood memories. And the Mac ‘N Stack itself was good too, with the waffles with macaroni inside of them providing an enjoyable and unique textural experience, a great seitan patty, and excellent sauce.“

“Im writing this review a couple years after dining here. I had the short rib curry and it was fantastic. It unfortunately isn't on the menu anymore. But I see the owner has a sister restaurant, chayen in watertown, that still serves it.

Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!“

The service is phenomenal - the chef goes out of his way to introduce himself and check in on the meal, and every waiter has always been amazing. “Overall, this was a fun experience dining at Table! We did the 4 course menu, and it was a lot of food, so I cannot imagine doing the full dinner.

The atmosphere is what makes this restaurant special. The communal dining was unique and fun to try. It was fun to talk with strangers around you.

The food is good, but nothing wowed me. It is very good food, but it didn’t wow me like some other spots in North End have. Instead, come here and enjoy the experience. Sit down at the communal table, and just enjoy a nice 2 hours around new people!“
