About Ethiopian Cafe

Ethiopian Cafe is a cozy spot that offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant's warm atmosphere, complete with burning incense, sets the tone for a wonderful meal. The food is delicious, with flavors cooked to perfection. The lentil sambosas are a must-try, with a buttery flaky exterior and nicely cooked lentils inside. The combo is the way to go, with generous portions that can last for multiple meals. Options like beef Lega Tibs and chicken Doro Wet, which features a flavorful and tangy sauce, are especially enjoyed. The dishes come with an array of vegetables, including lentil and vegetable sides, all served atop injeera bread, which has a wonderfully sour taste that balances out the meal. The service is kind and efficient, although there have been some comments about inattentiveness during busy times. Prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Ethiopian meal. To top it off, the restaurant offers a traditional coffee-making experience, complete with smoking coffee beans. Overall, Ethiopian Cafe is a great option for those wanting quality food at a good price.

The food here is absolutely incredible. Service in regard to how quickly the food is prepared is a little slow at times when they are very busy, but that it to be expected, and the food quality and how quickly they seat you and their attentiveness more than makes up for it. This is a regular spot for me and my family/friends.
Fabulous, fabulous Ethiopian food here for excellent value! I'm recommending this spot to anyone looking for properly good Ethiopian food in the greater Boston area--I've been on a bit of a hunt myself for good Ethiopian food and I'm thrilled to say I've finally found it after multiple bad meals from other restaurants. I got shiro and gomen and ayeb be gomen and was deliriously impressed. I grew up spoiled with a large selection of great Ethiopian food, and this place is the real...read full review
Absolutely delicious. It was a very clean environment and everything on the meat combo plate with chicken and beef was so flavorful and fulfilling!
