“I've never left a google review in my life but I cannot speak more highly of this place.

I made a big mistake about a catering order I placed 2 hours before an event that my nonprofit was holding. I spoke to who I assume was the owner of the restaurant and he was SO kind and accommodating. He created a catering order for me that he knew would feed the amount of guests at the event and due to my confusion (which was entirely my fault), without hesitation he offered to have it delivered to the event even though the restaurant does not deliver. I am certain that the amount of food definitely cost more than the amount that he charged me. He also offered to throw in free cookies after I shared we are a nonprofit. Not only was all of his kindness greatly appreciated by our organization but after the event ended, multiple attendees expressed how delicious the food was. One asked where the chicken alfredo was from so they could go get some themselves!! We have never received a post-event email about the food before!!

“I live a long way from this store, but one night I paid an Uber to deliver the pizza in the photos. I don’t know how else to tell you, but this was the most delicious food I have ever eaten. It was like Heaven in a box. I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. Just thinking about how good it was makes me want to order another one. This store is open late and this particular pizza was thick pan, with a decadent selection of cheese, pineapple slices, perfectly cooked chunks of high quality bacon, topped with a nice drizzle of hot honey. It was like when Guy Fieri says flavor town. Just an explosion of magnificent flavors. God bless the person who made this pie. “Great addition to Somerville! We stopped in and had a glass of wine at the counter while we waited for our pizzas to go. I love woodfired pizza and these did not disappoint. We had the Prosciutto di Parma and the Pollo both absolutely delicious. Very inviting atmosphere with fast and friendly service.“

“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.

“This used to be the best pizza place in town until they started using tasteless fake cheese. Real cheese is supposed to melt and not feel like rubber. I put it in the oven and it boiled and burned. So disappointing and disgusting. Please bring the REAL cheese back.“

My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. “I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza, and it was fantastic. The build your own pizza option was ideal for group of friends out shopping and enjoying Boston. The original crust is perfectly thin and crispy and tasted freshly made. You get to choose your own sauce and they have many options. I got the creamy white sauce base with mozzarella, grilled chicken, black olives, roasted broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good and was 6 reasonably sized slices. I brought half of mine home. You’d think a custom made pizza would take awhile, but it didn’t. The pizza oven was right in front so you could see your pizza cooking. They have a few dessert options, but we were too full to try any. I do think the s’mores pie would have been gooey perfection with just a few seconds in the pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!“

“Was a Boston resident for 60 years , moved to central Mass 6 years ago , still cannot find a really good pizza like the ones from Boston but I can honestly say whenever I head back there I'm usually stopping to grab a pie before I head back home and and I've got a thermal insulated bag , it's still hot enough to eat without having to reheat in the oven , highly recommend you give it a try but everyone has their own preferences , hope you like it as much as I do“

“I've never ever eaten Pizza like theirs. Is not very thick, not thin either, absolutely perfect and extraordinary in taste. I would recommend veggie and margarita pizzas here. It's just hand made with love, tastes like. I never knew before that pizzas can be made this much delicious. Five out of five !!!
