Jade is the absolute best. She’s one of those people who can somehow make your day better just by being herself. Whether it’s recommending a wine I’d never think to order, talking me through the menu when decision fatigue has completely taken over, or making an absolutely perfect French 75, she somehow always knows exactly what I need. She has this effortless way of making everyone at the bar feel like a regular, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people who walk through the door. She’s one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back.

And then there is Ty. Some of my favorite visits turn into conversations with him. We can talk about just about anything, and somehow he always has the perfect mix of humor, perspective, and genuine interest. It’s never just small talk. It’s the kind of conversation that makes you forget you walked in exhausted after work, and before you know it, your whole day is better.

Chris is always quick to say hi when he sees me, which is one of those little things that makes you feel welcome before you’ve even sat down.

Ann rounds out my dream team behind the bar. Between Ann, Jade, and Ty, I’ve discovered wines I never would’ve ordered on my own, had more laughs than I can count, and have never once felt like just another customer. Whether I stop in early or after a long day at work, they always make me feel like I’m exactly where I should be.

Jilllllll and Angela are always happy to commiserate with me about whatever kind of day I’ve had. And in the interest of full disclosure… while I was literally writing this review, one of them popped up behind me and scared the life out of me. I couldn’t have planned that timing if I tried.

Now let’s talk about the food.

I’ve honestly never had a bad meal here. Every single thing I’ve ordered has been outstanding, but if I had to pick a favorite, the beef cheek is absolutely unreal. Every plate arrives with a refined flair that somehow manages to feel elevated without ever feeling pretentious. It’s comfort food that decided to put on a tailored suit.

The Salty Pig has become more than a restaurant for me. It’s where I unwind after work, where decision fatigue magically disappears because someone always has the perfect recommendation, where I’ve learned to appreciate great wine, and where I know I’ll leave happier than I arrived.

To Jade, Ann, Ty, Chris, Jilllllll, Angela, and everyone else at The Salty Pig: thank you for making an incredible restaurant feel like home away from home. You all are the secret ingredient!!!!“

“This is one of my favourite sit down pizza places around Boston. I love the vibe of the place, especially sitting on their outside seating during good weather. The 2 times I’ve been here, both times I was amazed by the things I ordered. To add, I’m a vegetarian too, and the pizza I tried this time was the eggplant pizza, it was so good!! Must try for sure!!“

“Family had dinner at Stoked in Cohasset last weekend….what a great meal! Pizzas were SO delicious, as were the Greek and Caesar salads. House wines were really good. Children loved their meals too. Our server was terrific, fun and attentive. An overall perfect experience…casual and delicious!! It was a little quiet when we went, but it was early. “As someone who for many years would eat at the E village location in NYC, I was excited to see them come to the Boston/Cambridge area.
My first time at this location, I was in a pretty long line with a mix of anticipation and a touch of anxiety, thinking that it wouldn't compare to NYC.

“Went to downtown Boston for the afternoon and came here to grab lunch, ordered half meat and half veggie pizza. Pizza is made fresh, and is made in 10 minutes. Portions were heaping large, a large pizza fed 4 people well. Singular slices are MASSIVE, easily feeding a person. Pizza was delicious, the meat pizza is very savory and greasy, and the vegetable pizza is simply exquisite. The bell peppers and onions on the pizza are crunchy and flavorful. The drink selection is very wide and the chefs are very nice and friendly.“

“This restaurant is what the definition of a hidden gem is. The food is fresh, delicious, exactly what you look for in a great slice of pizza. They have many options, including burgers and subs, which all are made fresh to order as well. The prices are also reasonable, but what makes it stand out more are the specials they have which make the meals 10x more affordable for a solid
meal. It’s truly wonderful to see a place that actually cares about the people for once. But then the service stands out most to me, the people are the kindest, always accommodating, never rushing me to finish my meal, and making sure I feel welcomed and acknowledged at all times. “Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. “I went to the pizzeria after a long day in Malden. Right as you walked in the door you could tell they had good quality food. There were about five tables for people to sit at. Each one has at least four seats. The table and seats were clean and there was no food or leftover crumbs on the table. The staff were nice and the food got to us in less than ten minutes. I got the ziti meatballs, and they were really good. I also got a small plate of fries to go with it. The food was delicious and I definitely recommend going there if you are floating around Malden.“
