“Stoked is sooo good! I came in for lunch with my sister at opening time, so we were instantly seated at our table. It did start to fill up around 30 minutes later, so we were glad to come in early. For starters, we ordered the brussel sprouts and the gnocchi. There was some kind of mustard/wasabi-like sauce on the brussel sprouts that was really strong and was a tad bit difficult to eat. The brussel sprouts were sautéed really well though. The gnocchi was nice and chewy and the sauce was delish. We also ordered a pizza (forgot to take a picture :facepalm:) and it was a great ratio of sauce and cheese. Overall, Stoked was an excellent lunch experience, and I will be back!“

“This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.“

“I recently learned that this place opened in Boston, Ma 7 months ago. When I go to or drive through New York City I always have to stop at a Joe's Pizza... usually the one on Fulton St. I live in Fall River so that's a 3 hour ride. They've got some of the best NY style pizza in my opinion. The toppings are simple yet delicious and the crust is crispy and light and just perfectly cooked. You can order by the slice or order a whole big pie. This new location in Boston definitely did not disappoint, the employees were pleasant, patient and helpful to all of the people walking in, some you could tell it was their first time. The pizza tasted just like the Joe's in NY and it's 2 hours closer. I was told that they are looking to open another location in Ma. “We had a blast trying candle pin bowling for the first time! Such a cute and friendly establishment. Alexander and Jim were great hosts and very helpful as it was our first time. Our waitress was very kind too. Yummy flatbread pizza and drinks. The bowling is fun, fast paced, and so unique. You learn self scoring and they provide the scoring sheets & pencils. You can get food and drink delivered to your bowling area. I highly encourage reservations but they are also flexible with walk in if you arrive early enough! “Upon arrival, Pete was very welcoming. I told him I was there to confirm if he was in fact one of the top beef places, and he did not disappoint. In fact, his wife made the beef so want to give her credit (did not catch her name). I got a large beef with cheese and sauce. It was definitely top 2 if not the best beef. The Chicken Milanese was perfectly cooked and one of the best I’ve ever eaten outside of Italy. The accompanying arugula salad with cannellini beans was the perfect side.Every meal my friends and I had (i.e. Chicken Milanese, roasted chicken, risotto; small plates of the meatballs, fried seafood, and roasted beets) was delicious, and were not easily pleased. The only suggestion I would make is that the roasted beets dish was a particularly small portion, but I won’t quibble.I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how professional the waitstaff were. The first time we went, our waitress (whose name I can’t recall) was always available when we needed her, and was not intrusive at all. “Ordered pizza recently from 57 Lincoln Kitchen! It was generally really good, we got Hawaiian, the Lincoln and plain cheese pizza. The service was pretty fast, we got our order in 15 minutes. The pizzas were smaller than normal, about 14 inches in diameter. Ive ordered a chicken ceaser salad wrap from them previously and didnt enjoy it, so I would recommend ordering pizza from them rather than their sandwiches.“

At first we ended up at the bar and enjoyed the Italian wedding soup and some arancini. “We dined early at Bar ‘Cino this evening. It's Restaurant Week, and this place offered three courses for $36; there were lots of choices in all three courses, so we decided to try it. Restaurant Week pre-fixe menus are a mixed bag; many restaurants fail to put their best foot forward in their effort to attract new diners. But tonight's experience was quite the opposite. Among the three of us, we ordered a romaine and kale Caesar, meatballs in polenta and sweet potato frittela first, followed by chicken Milanese, braised pork shoulder and grilled salmon. We closed a vanilla panna cotta and a couple of lemon cakes topped with strawberry mousse. All of the firsts and mains were very good, and some — the meatballs, chicken and pork — were excellent. Unlike many other restaurants running pre-fixe promos, Bar ‘Cino did not skimp on anything. The plates were all generous and in some cases (the meatballs, Caesar and chicken), they were enormous. The desserts were nothing to write home about; they seemed almost institutional in their ordinariness. But whatever, we'd already eaten, frankly, too much. We had a terrific server, Joseph, who was friendly, helpful, personable and relaxed. We enjoyed his repartee. But other aspects of the service were uneven. As common as slow service tends to be, especially in crowded restaurants, it's highly unusual that the service is too fast. But tonight's courses definitely came out too quickly, with virtually no time between them to catch our breath. Plus, the food runner essentially brought the dishes to the table and placed them anywhere there was room — not even placing the wrong choice in front of each diner. “Been to Raso's countless times and will continue to do so. It is bustling every night of the week. Perhaps the packed bar is in part due to their broad martini menu (haven't tried a bad one yet). But everything about it is exactly what you want for an easy-going Italian restaurant in Medford. The vibe is comfortable - a friendly crew of staff who will happily recognize regulars, always good tunes in the background at a respectable volume, nice decor but no frills. Parking lot is small and cramped. In the evening, people tend to take their chances and park in the right lane of Mystic Ave, since the lot fills up. Now that I've explained how Raso's passes the vibe check, and implied that you could simply have the time of your life consuming their martinis and nothing else, I'd also like to complement the food. We get the grilled artichoke appetizer every time (sometimes two or three orders of it) and it is fantastically tender, with a light lemony dressing over a bed of greens. We clear the plate every time. Before Raso's, I never gave artichokes a second thought, but now I dream of them. Have legitimately called in a to-go order of just the artichokes. Anyways, great arancini as well, great pasta and seafood dishes, and you can order a breaded chicken cutlet with most entrees, which is nice and crispy, but also huge, so be warned. They're always trying new things with the pizza too - classic kind of crust with a tiny char on the edge. They even have some real Italian desserts, like Spumoni! Some people will say the food is average. I say, if you're looking for some kind of revolutionary experience, you're simply in the wrong place. Raso's experiments within the bounds of a classic Italian-American menu, they do it with class, and the staff are genuine. My humble suggestion is that they don't change a thing. Vivi il Raso's.“
