“West Newton is tried and true. Its consistent. It’s everything you want for a sub shop. You’re not going there for some yuppie gourmet entree you’re going there for a solid sub and a Greek salad with chicken for your girlfriend. This place is steadfast. You’re getting what you asked for and it’s quality is dead on. We order from this place multiple times a week from work and there’s literally never an issue. 10/10 suggest west Newton pizza“

“This is a nice local pizza place where the pizzas, though a little doughy and oily, hit the spot in the right way.Food (4/5):There is a large variety of pizzas, from which you can buy slices, or pies ranging from medium to large. I got a medium pie for a 20$ that I was able to eat over two meals myself (I got the clam pizza). The taste of the pizza was very good, but it was a bit oily for my tastes. Plus, the dough was a little chewy; I like to eat the crust, but it's a full mouth workout to eat. Although I think the 20$ price tag for a medium pie was a bit pricy for my tastes, it's definitely better than what you get at a chain.Service (5/5):The people who work there are very friendly and are rather quick in producing your order. Sometimes they strike a conversation while you eat or wait (only if you want to though)!Atmosphere (4/5):The vibe is of a local pizza joint, which I appreciate; it feels very local. However, there's not much seating around; only about 3 to 4 tables inside, 1-2 outside, and 2 hightops with no seats. I had the kofra kebab plate, ground beef with lamb, rolled and fried, salad, hummus, garlic sauce and tabouli. Look it up. I'm probably not touching it all the great aspects of it. Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.“

“Love Tu y Yo in Somerville but quite a drive for us. This has the same owners and much of the same menu and is much closer. This restaurant was wonderful! My favorites are the cactus salad, the tamales, plantains, and birria tacos. Mole wasn't my favorite, and pozole was good but a bit salty. Staff were really friendly and welcoming! “Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. “Ochi may be the best hidden secret for sushi in metro west. Everything is always fresh, the service is impeccable, and the setting is lovely with jazz music in the back. From the jump, the staff was super friendly and attentive to our order. They surprised us with fresh hummus samplers as we waited.

The restaurant is just the right size with cute dine-in tables and a busy to-go counter. It was easy to see that this place is well-loved.

Taking our order home, we loved our beef and hummus (with fresh, fluffy pita). The schnitzel was tender, and the ground beef and kebabs hit the spot.

“Because the majority of their food, dressings, sauces, etc are made in-house and taste incredible. You pay a little more for some of their items but it is definitely worth every penny. And the portion sizes are great too. Their menu takes u from soups, wraps, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads and hot dishes. The staff are extremely helpful in tweaking an item to fit your needs. James Beard award I’m sure will be coming soon.“
