From the jump, the staff was super friendly and attentive to our order. They surprised us with fresh hummus samplers as we waited.

The restaurant is just the right size with cute dine-in tables and a busy to-go counter. It was easy to see that this place is well-loved.

Taking our order home, we loved our beef and hummus (with fresh, fluffy pita). The schnitzel was tender, and the ground beef and kebabs hit the spot.

We’re from out of town visiting friends, but we’ll definitely be back.“

“My wife and I went on a wedding trip in wine country California last year and had an amazing BLT sandwich with super fresh local ingredients at a little cafe. After returning home to the Boston area , I started a search for a lunch shop near my office on Portland Street that could replicate that BLT experience for me. Ultimately the Bonne Chance Cafe was it! The folks that own and run this place are quiet, seemingly shy, but sweet and lovely people very dedicated to their craft. I try at least once a week to go back there and get my BLT on toasted wheat bread with sliced grilled chicken added, and I've been doing this long enough now that they know exactly why I'm there. Their food is delectable and tasty! They run a tight ship, high on cleanliness and the freshest ingredients. Definitely a must find!“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Tried Pokeworks at Quincy Market in Boston and honestly wish I found this place sooner! The market itself was super crowded and a bit overstimulating on a Saturday night, and the location was slightly hard to find because it was packed with people — but that’s definitely more about Quincy Market being busy than the restaurant itself.

I did a collect order and highly recommend doing that because my food was ready straight away with no waiting around. The portions were EXTREMELY generous and definitely good value for money. I got the poke salad bowl with tuna and prawns and added literally every topping possible (which was great because there were so many included at no extra cost). Everything tasted fresh and filling, and I was seriously impressed by how much food I got.

Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.“

“india Pizza in Lexington, MA - A Hidden Gem. I recently visited India Pizza in Lexington, MA, for the first time and wasn't sure what to order. I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good.
