So you call a place you’ve driven by a thousand times and never stopped at. Charlie answers the phone. Not a guy who just says “pickup or delivery”, it’s your buddy; Charlie. Suddenly your day isn’t so long anymore. That chicken Cesar salad he just rung up for you is going to make it all better. Oh and it’s big enough for you and your wife to split because you’re hungry too.

“My wife and I went on a wedding trip in wine country California last year and had an amazing BLT sandwich with super fresh local ingredients at a little cafe. After returning home to the Boston area , I started a search for a lunch shop near my office on Portland Street that could replicate that BLT experience for me. Ultimately the Bonne Chance Cafe was it! The folks that own and run this place are quiet, seemingly shy, but sweet and lovely people very dedicated to their craft. I try at least once a week to go back there and get my BLT on toasted wheat bread with sliced grilled chicken added, and I've been doing this long enough now that they know exactly why I'm there. Their food is delectable and tasty! They run a tight ship, high on cleanliness and the freshest ingredients. Definitely a must find!“
