“Everything you could want for breakfast &/or lunch. The fresh salad bar - build your own - is awesome, hard to find these days. The lunch bowls were excellent, with perfect rice, sides of chapchae noodles and stir fry veggies. Delicious egg sandwiches, too. We found the bulgogi/beef teriyaki a bit sweet, but overall delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bowl/plate is also nicely seasoned w/sesame & green onion garnish plus the delicious sides. Other sandwich & panini options look great, too, but we always crave the rice bowls. Also the food is always freshly made. Beware during lunch rush hour. Mid-late afternoon is best. We often take away for dinner. Like all good sauces, the flavors improve! The place has table & counter space to dine in, is bright & cute, coffee is delicious and service is excellent. I normally don’t like restaurant pizza and hadn’t eaten pizza in over a year because I could never find one that I genuinely enjoyed. Then today I tried the O’ Cheese Parm Pizza here, and wow—I finally found a pizza I absolutely love! The onion rings were incredible too.
What impressed me even more was the service. Every employee was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can teach people how to serve food, but you can’t teach genuine kindness—and this place has it.

“Eating at the Honeygrow in Seaport is a weekly staple for me! Aside from the fact that the food is delicious, the staff are extremely accommodating to my allergy (chicken). Stiven, especially, who I usually notify whenever I order, has come to know my dietary restrictions and is prepared whenever I order. It is very nice to be remembered like that. Tried Pokeworks at Quincy Market in Boston and honestly wish I found this place sooner! The market itself was super crowded and a bit overstimulating on a Saturday night, and the location was slightly hard to find because it was packed with people — but that’s definitely more about Quincy Market being busy than the restaurant itself.

I did a collect order and highly recommend doing that because my food was ready straight away with no waiting around. The portions were EXTREMELY generous and definitely good value for money. I got the poke salad bowl with tuna and prawns and added literally every topping possible (which was great because there were so many included at no extra cost). Everything tasted fresh and filling, and I was seriously impressed by how much food I got.

Words are insufficient to describe my excitement for Mario’s!!!

I’ll start with THIN CRUST - Classic Neapolitan pizza, ITALIAN style. Then FRESH FRESH FRESH ingredients make all the difference. I look forward to it, whenever I can make it, usually for lunch on Friday, the only week day they’re open at 12:00 noon. Awesome vibe that’s 100% local local local. Small place, mostly take out, but you can seat 3-4 people at the window counter, which I love. Old school marble counter, with comfy padded bar stools. You have to know it’s here as the location is a tad off the beaten path of prime visibility. Which ‘proves’ one of my philosophies ‘ great location, often mehh food, not so great location - the food must be amazing. So many amazing points …. One of which is the ACTUAL MARIO! Punctuating the super local CHEF OWNED cafe. He’s here all the time, super nice guy, a joy to chat with … and he truly loves making incredible pizza!!“

I had the kofra kebab plate, ground beef with lamb, rolled and fried, salad, hummus, garlic sauce and tabouli. Look it up. I'm probably not touching it all the great aspects of it. Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.“

Tempura isnt the traditional Japanese batter, it’s got the premade thick layer you get from frozen pieces at the supermarket. Sushi rolls are as good as any other neighborhood sushi place. If you’re satisfied with general Asian food this is a decent spot to grab a casual meal, esp lunch. If you’re a discerning diner who can differentiate between real Japanese cuisine vs other styles, you’ll come away a little deflated. The service was great, servers were very nice.
