“First time at Steel & Rye, and it was great.Food was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was outstanding!! Our waiter was excellent-he took really good care of us❤️”
“Açaí bowls are amazing! Nutella is my favorite such fresh fruit and amazing Nutella!! The extra Nutella is the best, highly recommendDietary restrictions: Have gluten free and vegan itemsParking: Have a hard time finding parking. Sometimes got to parallel park”
“Overall a great dining experience. Went on a Friday night and was promptly seated in their beautiful dining room. I Was greeted with friendly staff. The menu is diverse in choice but not overwhelming. The food is delicious as well. Would recommend. They were accommodating and knowledgeable about allergies.Dietary restrictions: Accommodating of allergies.”
“Who knew the best matcha was actually from a local gem above a market in the South Shore? I'm so sad I didn't discover this place until now, close to when it will bid its farewell, but I am happy that I was able to try a few items. The strawberry matcha latte ($5.75) is a seasonal drink inspired by a cafe in Providence, RI, which I have been meaning to try, so I was very excited to get it. The drink was smooth and not sugary (as is preferred), and the strawberry was fresh. I also tried the banana bread ($3.50), which was surprisingly my first time in general. It was very moist and sweet (hopefully only from the bananas and no added sugar), with a slightly crunchy, almost nutty/salty crust. The place was pretty lively on a weekday morning, but the line and preparation of orders were quick. I feel like the items could be a tad cheaper (also, for some reason it is cheaper to order online?), but, nevertheless, I would return (and might have even been a regular had I known about this place sooner). If any of the staff reads this review, any chance the bread pudding or lobster Benedict could make a comeback before the final day? Haha.”
“I got a misconception about this little place and until I entered and got a warm welcome. I was asking to add extra chairs as I had a group of friends coming and the service was amazing. The server didn’t complain and started pulling chairs to a corner table to make more spaces. The food was also fresh and delicious.”
“This is my favorite morning coffee spot before taking kids to school. The coffee is fresh and good quality and the staff are very friendly.Highly recommend to start you day positively.”
“Great service, great food. Friendly staff. the Pizza always arrives hot and and on time. Shout out to Frank for being an amazing, friendly delivery driver. This place will always be my family’s favorite take out spot.”
“absolutely amazing vibe, food, and service. Leilani was an amazing server, she went above and beyond for us! Emanuelle was great as well as we had an inquiry about an event. We will definitely be back soon!”
“The brainless creature Paul Franciosa below seemed to have its usual day. The exact same menu item was ordered and it was terrific. Generous portions and well-made. It was 12 dollars, as opposed to 16.”
“Very nice experience here thanks to Tim, Tristen, Shazia, Emraan! They are very polite, fast and friendly with your order and they kept the line moving to get us our orders accurately and quickly. Great team. This is a busy shop due to location right off the highway. Parking is on the street and behind the building. The shop is updated, clean and nicely decorated. It's a pleasure to come here for dining or takeout.”
“The juices and smoothies are perfect , never watery or too thick. The bowls and flat bread sandwiches are delicious and service is quick and always friendly and helpful.”
“Really good pizza! Our order did not go through somehow and we were in a rush with our hungry baby in the car. The person working the store at the time graciously offered us a pizza that a customer had not picked up. True savior! We will come back, this time with our order truly placed! Thank you!”
“Love all the big windows and the interior design- simple and elegant.Absolutely huge menu: they have chinese, Japanese, korean, Vietnamese dishes!!Very nice place to dine-in.”
“Reopened, great to have them back. Service is great, though short staffed and gets very busy when the kids get out of school. You also have "squatters" that just take up tables with no food or drinks next to them. Don't expect a table to work with your drink unless you get lucky. Adequate parking.”
“Woods Hill Pier 4 offers a dining experience like no other! Nestled by the water, the ambiance is both elegant and relaxed, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The farm-to-table concept shines through in every dish, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that burst with flavor.”
“We got very fortunate and grabbed a table as soon as we came in, it was Marathon Monday. Order the mushroom pizza and the kale and nappa cabbage salad. Both came very quickly, and was delicious. Our server, Israel, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. He was fantastic. A great place for food....enjoy”
“What a shame I didn't discover this place sooner. Very good atmosphere, charming service and great quality of food.We had dinner at the bar and I enjoyed the experience many times. The Oysters are very top. We also ordered tuna and sea bass tartare.I will repeat for sure”
“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.”
“The food was delicious and experience was mind-blowing. I loved the small plates concept and got to try so many different dishes. Every bite was extremely flavorful and delicious. Za'atar bread was to die for. Staff was EXTREMELY polite! They were also very conscious of allergens and accommodated and offered allergan-free options.Place is a bit small and crowded but nothing too inconvenient.”
“The food is absolutely delicious! The Lamb Souvlaki and Slow Roasted Lamb, well seasoned, delicious, and tender. The Mkhlovani and the Arugula and Fig Salad were tasty and nicely done.”
“Went on a Saturday night, had the pleasure of being seated and taken care of by Gwynne and cooked for by Miles. Incredible service, wonderful food, and amazing wine recommendations. Couldn’t name a better place in Southie, let alone Boston. Dates, family visits, drinks with friends - bring them all here and make sure you ask for Gwynne and give a shout to Miles (get the pickles)! Will be back ASAP”
“Best restaurant in Boston. Yep I said it. I’ve been 4 times and it only gets better. Everything I’ve tried has been incredible. Favs include tallegio cappelletti and panna cotta.”
“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.”
“the best Sicilian pizza and Arancini in America the USA ❤️ I've been coming here since my teenage years back in the 1980s ❤️ Thanks again Ralph and Paul the nicest people very friendly from your friend domenic ❤️ 5 stars A+ always ...”
“Eventide Fenway absolutely had the most amazing food I’ve ever tasted. Carefully crafted seafood cuisine, raw bar and great cocktails. I hear that there is a mothership location in Maine. I’ll try that too one day. PERFECTION! Great staff too”
“My wife and I found ourselves stuck in Cambridge as a result of certain family entanglements. We were feeling glum with no bright options for spending the evening. THEN.... we stumbled into Pammys and things went technicolor. We were seated at the southeast end of bar and were almost immediately sipping a 29 degree Martini and an Oaxaca Old Fashioned. In addition to being a really great bar full of fashionable, chatty and probably interesting local people, Pammy's also has a full menu of really great food including asparagus served with a cured egg yolk and a circle of something very tasty that resembles a large egg white cut into a slice. We also tried crispy mushrooms, some fish, pasta, bread pudding and some really delicious bread (which is offered free of charge, at least at the bar.) The staff of the restaurant, including a woman who I believe was the Eponymous Pammy of Pammys, were all very friendly and made us feel welcome being in Cambridge. We met a very nice person from Maine which was another exciting wrinkle to the experience. We will definitely go back the next time life throws us a curveball and we are stuck in the Boston metro area. A big thanks to Pammys for salvaging our night!”
“I've tried Ernesto's North End on two occasions. The first time I ordered pizza by the slice which was reheated to order. The second occasion I ordered a whole pizza which they made to order. The fresh pizza was much better than the pizza by the slice. The whole pizza took under 10 minutes to make. The crust was perfect and crunchy without the flop. The cheese and ricotta cheese topping was a little thick and kept falling off. But overall very good pizza. I'd say 5 star for the fresh made pizza and 3 star for the pizza by the slice. Workers were very friendly and the pizza with toppings was about $27 which was very reasonable.”
“THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE KRASI STAFF.The hostess Jasmine is a GEM! She truly made our day. She went above and beyond for us!Every single staff member was so friendly, kind and welcoming.
