“Fabulous fantastic a great evening of food and service. A neighborhood gem that we only found during Dine Out but will return to again and again. Huge portions for their Dine Out menu - we tried it all and ate leftovers for several other meals. The salmon was unique and spot on; special seasonal salad perfect and carbonara not to be missed. We cannot wait to return. Thanks for treating us like family!”

Roundhead Brewing Company Westinghouse Plaza Building #10, Hyde Park Brewery
Westinghouse Plaza Building #10, Hyde Park

“There’s a lot that stands out about this brewery. I stumbled upon it during a solo adventure day and noticed several of the bees had latin influences. The owner is Peruvian and brings these flavors to truly impeccably crafted brews. You are greeted with the smell of fresh empanadas and pizza when you enter into their open floor plan. There’s a lovely loft that overlooks the industrial space, plenty of arcade games, and lots of communal, individual, and cozy seating for any hang. TVs and live music are also available. Two things immediately stood out to me that don’t happen in every brewery: it’s not only child friendly, but kids have diverse ages and backgrounds and are all kindly playing with each other. The patrons are from many backgrounds, as breweries often bring in white, cis, straight crowds. It feels inviting to see so many different walks of life enjoying their time here with each other. The servers are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. Their suggestions are great. When I checked out, the server let me know 20% is already included and servers are paid a living wage.To summarize, what a lovely establishment. The owners of roundhead truly thought of what it means to create an inclusive space that everyone can enjoy.”

“Great small Trinidadian cuisine located in hyde park,MA. The atmosphere is so inviting from the outside and the inside. It is a small place, with a homey touch to it. There's limited outside seating in the summer but as you can imagine, during the cold season, nobody really likes to sit outside lol. I was first introduced to this place last year by one of my Trini co-workers and got in contact with the owner to place a catering order for a work event. We ordered buss up shut, curry chicken, and chana and aloo. Everything came out so delicious and full of flavor. The team enjoyed the food and asked for another catering event and so I placed an order for the same dishes and the owner Allan, worked with our budget. Allan is very friendly and accommodating. Everything was done on time and when I arrived to pick up the order, Allan and his teams helped bring everything to my car. The chana and aloo and the buss up shot are vegan friendly :) I recommend this place! (10/10)”

“I was one of the first to eat from here when it opened five years ago in the former D'Angelo's location. They food is outstanding, the service is friendly and the space is VERY clean. That's where the compliments stop unfortunately.Despite everywhere else in the area having reopened their dining areas, this location is still Take Out only for unexplained reasons. The McDonald's across the street was one of the first to close their dining space due to the Pandemic and was also one of the last to reopen theirs but they DID reopen their dining area. We're now almost two full years after the Pandemic ended but their dining space remains closed. The only possible explaination I can think of at this point is they're keeping the dining areas closed so they don't have to bother cleaning those spaces several times a day. Either way, they should have a sign posted letting people know if the dining area is permanently closed or no at this point. That aside, the prices on the entrees have been gradually increasing. When they first opened five years ago, the Oxtail plate came in three size options (Small, Medium and Large). In the summer of 2019 they announced due to rising prices on oxtail meat, they were dropping their Small and Large options for the Oxtail and would sell the Medium at a higher price. It started at $18 and is now $22. I like their Oxtail but I'm not willing to pay THAT much for it. I'm better off buying the meat and cooking it myself in that case. It's sad that they've decided to pass those rising costs onto their customers, most of whom live in the neighborhood--myself included. Other options have also had price increases in recent years. The pandemic sucked for everyone but and people get you need to be profitable to stay in business and pay your employees but this is really pushing it.One myth/rumor I've heard for a while that I can personally confirm is NOT true is some think the food is cooked at another location and brought there. This is NOT true. All food is cooked on site in the kitchen in the back. The food is SAFE, Sanitary and good. They also take custom requests on all orders within reason. For example if you want to mix and match certain items in the same plate, you can. Just ask.”

“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.”

WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. “My wife and I found ourselves stuck in Cambridge as a result of certain family entanglements. We were feeling glum with no bright options for spending the evening. THEN.... we stumbled into Pammys and things went technicolor. We were seated at the southeast end of bar and were almost immediately sipping a 29 degree Martini and an Oaxaca Old Fashioned. In addition to being a really great bar full of fashionable, chatty and probably interesting local people, Pammy's also has a full menu of really great food including asparagus served with a cured egg yolk and a circle of something very tasty that resembles a large egg white cut into a slice. We also tried crispy mushrooms, some fish, pasta, bread pudding and some really delicious bread (which is offered free of charge, at least at the bar.) The staff of the restaurant, including a woman who I believe was the Eponymous Pammy of Pammys, were all very friendly and made us feel welcome being in Cambridge. We met a very nice person from Maine which was another exciting wrinkle to the experience. We will definitely go back the next time life throws us a curveball and we are stuck in the Boston metro area. A big thanks to Pammys for salvaging our night!”

“I've tried Ernesto's North End on two occasions. The first time I ordered pizza by the slice which was reheated to order. The second occasion I ordered a whole pizza which they made to order. The fresh pizza was much better than the pizza by the slice. The whole pizza took under 10 minutes to make. The crust was perfect and crunchy without the flop. The cheese and ricotta cheese topping was a little thick and kept falling off. But overall very good pizza. I'd say 5 star for the fresh made pizza and 3 star for the pizza by the slice. Workers were very friendly and the pizza with toppings was about $27 which was very reasonable.”
