“Best Mediterranean food I've had in decades. Everything was delicious. Couldn't be better. I had the kofra kebab plate, ground beef with lamb, rolled and fried, salad, hummus, garlic sauce and tabouli. Look it up. I'm probably not touching it all the great aspects of it. Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.”

“Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. The food was excellent and the waitress was so kind in packing one dish separately due to a peanut allergy. We will definitely be frequent flyers here.”

“Hibachi to go was delicious. A very solid dinner option, with everything cooked beautifully, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. Restaurant was clean, with a well managed open kitchen. We will certainly be back.”

“The food is OK-not bad, not great. The miso ramen broth is a little watery and salty at the same time (this ain’t the traditional long simmering bone broth based ramen soup) and the sliced pork (tonkatsu) was a bit tough. The lunch specials are a good price but the taste will make you wonder if it actually is. Tempura isnt the traditional Japanese batter, it’s got the premade thick layer you get from frozen pieces at the supermarket. Sushi rolls are as good as any other neighborhood sushi place. If you’re satisfied with general Asian food this is a decent spot to grab a casual meal, esp lunch. If you’re a discerning diner who can differentiate between real Japanese cuisine vs other styles, you’ll come away a little deflated. The service was great, servers were very nice. The music was really loud and started to grate on me after awhile as it repeated.”

“We’ve been coming here for close to 4 years. I used to live down the street but now make the 35 minute commute from Ashland just to get the food here.

The chicken pad Thai, seafood drunken noodles, red curry, and so many things are UNMATCHED. The service is always quick and extremely friendly.

Would recommend everyone to come here for take out or dine in.”

“Caffè Nero in Dedham is easily my favorite location in Massachusetts so far! What sets it apart is the incredible amount of seating—it’s perfect whether you’re in a large group or just looking for a quiet corner. I absolutely love the ‘community library’ feel here; there’s something so relaxing about being able to grab a book off the shelf and read while you sip your coffee. Highly recommend if you need a spot to actually sit and stay a while.”

“Just went here for the first time and everything was perfect. It was an extremely large portion for the going lunch rates these days. I got a salad bowl with chicken/beef combo. Everything was delicious and the woman making it for me was very nice and helpful. I will also mention that the store was extremely clean. Everything in the food station was spotless and tidy. Pretty impressive from an open kitchen concept.

“We got a menu for them in the mail today and what made me order was the taco pizza. ive been looking for years for somewhere that made it. its absolutely delicious! However we are disappointed that the $13 chicken wing dinner only came with 5 wings. A ton of rice but not much chicken. I also didnt like how the driver never had me sign the receipt authorizing the credit card payment. i didnt even get a receipt showing how much the order was. The food is very good though. we ordered several things. ill definitely be getting this taco pizza more”

“I ordered the Big Burger and Strawberry Love shake and they were delicious. Staff member behind the counter was very helpful. I ordered from the app and had a little trouble getting to the payment screen and staff member showed me how. Food was prepared quickly and was hot. I noticed another customer didn't want to use the tablet to order and staff member took her order at the register. I read other reviews criticizing everything I found perfect. “One of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever indulged in! Love the vibes there, and that everything is healthy and organic. Impressed that the prices weren’t too high either! Was just traveling through Salem on vacation in September & glad I found this place. Highly recommend. (Pictures are of the Rainbow Harvest bowl and Blue Magic Smoothie) - which had a kick to it, but tasted like Christmas.”

“We have been to this location many times. The food is great and on par with what you except at any friendly toast location.

A bit loud especially if there are a lot of kids there, but you can always talk, so not too bad.

The problem is that you always have to have a reservation or you will wait around 20 to 40 minutes and even with a reservation you will be lucky if you get seated within 5 minutes if your party is 4 or more people.
Also parking here is insane unless you go direct into the parking garage and head to the second floor directly and aren't very picky about getting a spot near an elevator.

The other thing that is they don't bring you water when you sit and it's also hard sometimes to find your server for a refill. That is a thing I always look for at a good restaurant.

But other than those minor things, its a reliable place to go for brunch or lunch at legacy place as long as you are prepared. That's why we keep coming back.”

“Hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here last weekend and everything was amazing! The staff outdid themselves, Sophia and Joshua were so attentive and helpful to all of our guests! The food was better than I had expected it to be and they displayed everything perfectly! I was impressed with how nicely they put our party ideas all together. The adults had fun, bowling and playing pool while the kids had fun at the arcade. It was the perfect layout to enjoy yourself at the bar while keeping an eye on the kids playing. I highly recommend you consider hosting a party here! Their coordinator Courtney was so easy to work with and we were very happy with the outcome and how much fun our guests had!”

“Another great meal at this wonderful chain. Our dumplings and brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and my sweet potato burger was delicious. My husband's bolognese was a bit too salty and after we told our waitress, the manager, John, came over to thank us for letting them know. Always trying to make sure food is the way it should be! Drinks were quite good and we didn't have room for dessert. We can always count on Tavern in the Square for a wonderful experience.”
