“We have been going to Uchi since the opening week, and the food and service have only improved over time. We get takeout most weeks, and have enjoyed every item we've ordered, from various appetizers (we love the shrimp shumai) to entrees of sushi, ramen, fried rice, etc., to the fried ice cream dessert. Everything is delicious, the staff are friendly and recognize regulars, and we always enjoy ourselves when we eat in.”

“This little cafe/restaurant is nestled in an alley next to a general store, it gives speakeasy vibes. The place is small, but clean and welcoming. I want to say it’s family owned, but I am not sure.

Their menu has breakfast/lunch/dinner options, plenty of options for vegetarians as well. We started with some scallion pancakes, they were crisp and delicious.

We ordered their drunken noodles with vegetables and basil fried rice 🍚 with egg and tofu. Their noodles 🍝 were saucy( I like when they are not dry, so I loved it) it also had the perfect level of spices, lots of veggies like broccoli 🥦 🫑 🍄‍🟫 🧅 🥕

The basil fried rice was okay, I have had better basil fried rice for sure. The taste was good, but I had higher expectations.

The Thai cold coffee🧋was the highlight of our meal. It was so perfect, that I would have had another glass. Strong coffee with low sugar, just how I like it.

Our experience was very good, and we look forward to visiting this place again.”

“Excellent food. Excellent specials. Caprese salad so fresh. All of the salads are a meal in themselves. Best chicken parm. Best chicken Marsala. Steak tips so tender with garlic mashed and sautéed spinach. Bartenders are so friendly and fun. Wait staff are awesome. Get there early. Fills up fast! Tommy and Mollie. Joe and Lori are greatest bartenders. Jocelyn and Jess and Paola are best waitresses”

“What a wonderful experience! The food and service were both outstanding. Nick, our server was very attentive, but did not hover. Food was hot and delicious. Drinks were a generous pour and good value. The owner, Michael, stopped by to make sure everything was good. Friendly and accommodating, he made us feel very much welcomed. Be sure to get his mother's recipe Brandee for desert. I and all in our party look forward to returning again soon!”

“The 50s Diner is always good. My family and I go regularly and the food and service are always top notch. I think one of the best things you can say about a restaurant is that the food is consistently good and I can definitely say that about the 50s Diner. The prices are a little higher than other diners I've been to but it's worth paying a little more for good quality good and service. Try the Greek omelet. Very good!”

“Exceptional food and service. I really love the care and effort put into the packaging and preparation as I’ve had a couple really big orders and I can see the staff diligently triple checking the accuracy of everything.

Thai dishes have a ton of flavor and are on par with the best you can get in the area. Love that the scallion pancakes are crispy and not saturated in grease as you see at other places. This will be my go to place indefinitely for Thai takeout.”

“From outside looks like your normal pizza shop but let me tell you this place has got to be top 10 pizza in MA got 2 cheese slices fresh out the oven and it was the best damn pizza I've had in awhile sauce was just right the crispness it was just fresh and how a pizza should he made. Also got an Italian sub and it was great but the pizza to me was what hit the spot highly recommend them will be coming back.”

Everyone there treats customers more like “friends” then “customers.” The place has a nostalgic-feeling to it and looks like an old-school diner and I absolutely LOVE IT! Where the heck can you have a full breakfast these days for $10.65 (Scott’s Special)? A Starbucks Venti and Sausage sandwich running north of $10.Visit this diner, you won’t regret and they will treat you like a rockstar.”

“We got a menu for them in the mail today and what made me order was the taco pizza. ive been looking for years for somewhere that made it. its absolutely delicious! However we are disappointed that the $13 chicken wing dinner only came with 5 wings. A ton of rice but not much chicken. I also didnt like how the driver never had me sign the receipt authorizing the credit card payment. i didnt even get a receipt showing how much the order was. The food is very good though. we ordered several things. ill definitely be getting this taco pizza more”

“Not crowded on a Tuesday motning. I was alone so ate at bar. Friendly and attentive service. I enjoyed one of their signature omelets and home fries were delicious. Loved their unique Maple Turmeric Hot Sauce. Wish I lived in the area so I could return more often.”

“First it’s important to note this is INSIDE the Whole Foods, against the wall with the other prepared foods. Took me several minutes to find it even once I was in WF. Food (burger and sweet potato fries) was good but they were pretty slow. And for such a small burger it was pretty expensive.”

They do have a “happy hour” in the afternoons, so maybe come then, as it will be cheaper.

I’m also generally not a fan of food places that try to avoid human contact, where you are greeted by a machine and not a person. The person behind the counter was alone and very busy though so I get it. She had a lot on her plate but made a point to be cordial anyway.”

“Good fresh sushi for take out. It came quite quickly considering the restaurant itself had a 30 minute wait for seating. The man at the front was really friendly, I’d like to come back sometime for dine in!”

“This place has become somewhat of a tradition in our family. We come to Massachusetts to visit my aunt and uncle and we reserve a few lanes for a couple of hours on Black Friday. They have a package deal which is a little expensive but the food keeps flowing and the service is pretty darn good. It was about $2,500. I believe they have other package deals. The one thing that upset us was that there was a $450 bar minimum. It's 11:00 in the morning! Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good bloody Mary in the morning but this is a family affair! Not to mention we have been going there for about 5 years now maybe longer and they still haven't cut us any type of a VIP deal. If you do the math I'm sure we've spent over $10,000 with them. Anyhow, the bowling's fun the food is good the service was good I would recommend this place for sure. I wish I had photos to share but it basically looks like any other bowling alley just nice and clean. Enjoy”

“I was in Dedham for about 2 weeks for work and Tavern in the Square was my #1 choice for drinks and food every day. Special shoutout to Carly, Morgan, and Zach (hope I spelled their names correctly) for being great staff. 10/10 recommend coming here… oh and the buffalo wings are amazing!”
