She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, and checked in just the right amount - never too much, never too little. Their clam chowder was not as rich as I had hoped it would be—kinda thin and watery—but their pancakes were huge and delicious. Definitely would come again!“

“I really like this cake shop and have been here several times. The cakes are really nice—light, elegant, and not too sweet, with very delicate flavors. The bread is also great and all very reasonably priced.

The staff are friendly and polite, and I always leave with a good impression. If you’re nearby, it’s easy to stop by since there’s street parking along the road.

It’s a French pâtisserie, but I’d especially recommend it to Japanese customers as well—the flavors feel very familiar and approachable.“

“Cake order review only: easy to inquire about a cake online. Easy payment once we discussed the vision of the cake. And easy pickup. BEAUTIFUL CAKE. The cake was $90 for a heart shaped 2 layer cake with vintage piping, vegan vanilla with vegan vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling. I didn’t get the filling but was refunded immediately and the person handling the situation was so nice. I had asked why the darker icing tasted to chemically and they informed that the more they use the dye the more it tastes like it. So I would just skip that completely. Get the lighter frostings. Because like I said these are beautiful cakes and the cake itself is a good texture and flavor as a vegan cake.“

“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “My wife and I came here to get a quick bite and some drinks and watch some World Cup. The servers were incredible and the food was delicious. We ordered the Salmon salad and the salmon was fresh and juicy. We also had the pretzel with their spicy mustard which was awesome. I had an IPA followed by the 75 bees which is a perfect drink in this hot weather. Not too alcoholic and sweet. My wife had the Hibiscus lemonade and she swears that’s one of the best lemonade’s she’s had in a long time. Super awesome place to visit“

“I love the staff here and I love what they do for the community. I get this is Newbury street, I do.

But the prices here are insane. It's like $12 for a 16ounce. And more ($15) for other drinks at the same size!!!!

I've helped family members setup smoothie shops on Seattle in the past and we usually do $10 for 24ounces at least.

I understand the economy is bad but not every patron on Newbury street has old Boston back bay money.

I think if they decrease prices by a $1.50, they can be supremely successful with more customer traffic.“

“Every year I host a tennis charity event Serve For a Cure in support of the Jimmy fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I reached out to Nothing Bundt Cakes, via email thinking they wouldn’t answer me. I got an phone call saying they would like to donate cakes to my event. When I was told how many, I was flabbergasted. They were so generous and very easy to work with. The day of my event a friend of mine picked up the personal cakes, and we gave them out to the tennis players. I some how got 4 of them. They were delicious! I would highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes for your next occasion or even just a sweet treat.“
