She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, and checked in just the right amount - never too much, never too little. Even when the restaurant got busy, Milli stayed calm, kept a smile on her face, and made sure our drinks were always topped up and our food came out perfectly timed. “Everything about this place was so good that we visited TWICE in a row during a 4-day trip to Cambridge/Boston. My dad loved the seitan reuben and cauliflower po boy, and I ADORED the impossible ground beef chop cheese and Nashville hot chicken (seitan). And absolute W. Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

“I really like this cake shop and have been here several times. The cakes are really nice—light, elegant, and not too sweet, with very delicate flavors. The bread is also great and all very reasonably priced.

The staff are friendly and polite, and I always leave with a good impression. If you’re nearby, it’s easy to stop by since there’s street parking along the road.

It’s a French pâtisserie, but I’d especially recommend it to Japanese customers as well—the flavors feel very familiar and approachable.“

“Cake order review only: easy to inquire about a cake online. Easy payment once we discussed the vision of the cake. And easy pickup. BEAUTIFUL CAKE. The cake was $90 for a heart shaped 2 layer cake with vintage piping, vegan vanilla with vegan vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling. I didn’t get the filling but was refunded immediately and the person handling the situation was so nice. I had asked why the darker icing tasted to chemically and they informed that the more they use the dye the more it tastes like it. So I would just skip that completely. Get the lighter frostings. Because like I said these are beautiful cakes and the cake itself is a good texture and flavor as a vegan cake.“

“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

“We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious. Take a grilled chicken sandwich: omnipresent on local menus, yet only The Abbey makes this a moist and delicious generous meal every time. “Every year I host a tennis charity event Serve For a Cure in support of the Jimmy fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I reached out to Nothing Bundt Cakes, via email thinking they wouldn’t answer me. I got an phone call saying they would like to donate cakes to my event. When I was told how many, I was flabbergasted. They were so generous and very easy to work with. The day of my event a friend of mine picked up the personal cakes, and we gave them out to the tennis players. I some how got 4 of them. They were delicious! I would highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes for your next occasion or even just a sweet treat.“

“I love the staff here and I love what they do for the community. I get this is Newbury street, I do.

But the prices here are insane. It's like $12 for a 16ounce. And more ($15) for other drinks at the same size!!!!

I've helped family members setup smoothie shops on Seattle in the past and we usually do $10 for 24ounces at least.

I understand the economy is bad but not every patron on Newbury street has old Boston back bay money.

I think if they decrease prices by a $1.50, they can be supremely successful with more customer traffic.“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“
