“Had an amazing first experience at Legal Sea Foods in Dedham (Legacy Place)! The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the shrimp tostada was absolutely amazing full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The calamari was crispy and delicious, and the crab cake sliders were a standout as well. The clam chowder was honestly the best I’ve ever had rich, creamy, and packed with flavor.
Shoutout to Declan and Hannah at the bar they both did an incredible job. The service was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their guests.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I eat a Bamboo quite often. Last night we went to a function and after the party we were hungry so of course we went to Bamboo and the food was delicious as expected. They NEVER let us down.

We ordered chicken and beef skewers along with crab ragoon as dine in, and we ordered salt and pepper wings, beef fried rice, and beef and broccoli to go.

My husband gave his card to pay the bill. On the merchant copy of the receipt for the tip, he put $0.00. The waitress took the book and walked away. As her back was turned, my husband put $22 dollars in cash on the table. The waitress came back to the table and showed my husband that he put $0.00 on the merchant copy.

My husband, who is always calm, pointed to the cash on the table. Immediately, I had a bad taste in my mouth.

I definitely will return. However, I did not like that at all.“

* **General Tso's Chicken:** A crowd-pleaser done right. The chicken pieces were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a sauce that struck the ideal balance between sweet and tangy without being overly heavy or syrupy.

“Do you know how hard it is to fine clam bellies? Little Whale Oyster Bar had them. Pricey but they are so goood. Sat at the bar. Bartender was knowledgeable and very capable. $2 oysters special with beverage purchase was a great deal. And they were large and flavorful.“

“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. We wanted to enjoy lobster, and the staff kindly allowed me to finish food from another vendor at the table, which was a pleasant surprise. We tried two different types of clam chowder, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. The lobster rolls were also very good—fresh, generously filled, and beautifully prepared. I sampled a wine before ordering, and the one I chose paired nicely with the meal, even if wine prices in the U.S. tend to be a bit high.

Have driven by hundreds of times......not sure what I was thinking....it took figuring out that you can't get Alaskan King crab legs at Legal Seafoods to force me to try this place out. Took an order to go. A+ yes messy....very messy the middle Hot sauce was excellent and everywhere. Good fun. Shared as an appetizer and we all agree Good stuff. They have "All you can Eat" on Sat and Sun I believe for $30 so a great deal. We will try again. Tiny place maybe 10-12 tables so use OpenTable. I tried Boston they did not have anything for 3-4 days at 7pm. Also had a Brookline reservation. There are ~24 locations in 8-10 states.“

“The food is delicious! It is a small cafe/shop and the seating is nice but seems to be more take out and just a small shop for fresh seafood or take away.

The lobster sliders with lobster bisque was excellent. Nice big pieces of meat, buttery roll, not too much sauce. The lobster bisque was creamy but not too thick. Lots of flavor and good oyster crackers.

I was anticipating an amazing wagyu beef burger given the $35 price tag, but it was very ordinary and forgettable. It was cooked well-done even though I asked for medium-well, and it had absolutely no flavor, not even a hint of salt and pepper. The fries were dry and not very good either. But the corn bread was absolutely delightful and probably some of the best I’ve ever had, and the pita bread with hummus and pimento cheese was delicious, as well. Overall, about 4 stars considering the appetizers saved the day, as the wagyu burger was a flop.“
