“This is a great restaurant with so many great choices for all tastes. Our group had the Fisherman’s Platter, Clam Chowder, Lobster Roll, Rainbow Trout, and the Crab Cake Combo. We also enjoyed the Red Sangria and Sake. It was all very good. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere.“

“I was not expecting good Chinese food in the burbs of Boston, connected to a hotel. But, I was pleasantly surprised by Bamboo. It’s a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating. We were there for dinner and it looked like they may have a daily lunch buffet during the week. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

Now the food. We had chicken lo mein, which was so delicious. Sometimes this dish is dry on Chinese restaurants, but not here. We also had the garlic duck which was so special. It’s large pieces of duck in a brown sauce with vegetables. We had the pork spareribs for an appetizer. We will definitely be back!“

“The fish plate and an order of the scallops were so good, and the portion size was great for our meals. The person who took the order was polite and helpful when asked about ingredients and was able to verify with someone who knew the correct answer.
My only complaints are that there were no high-top chairs. Every booth was too low for a person having an injured spine, lower back issues. And that the batter on the scallops could have been more golden and less brown. They were good but could have been even better.

My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. “It’s a mission of mine to try all the Eddie V’s in the US and when staying in Boston recently I came here. I stopped in on a Saturday night with coworkers and since we didn’t have reservations, we sat at the bar.

Service was decent and was friendly. Menu is the typical menu at Eddie V’s (same seafood options, beef, sides, etc). Drinks were very nicely made while we were at the bar.

We started with their calamari and it was great, as usual. Then two of us ordered their lamb chops and they were prepared perfectly! I opted for their stuffed shrimp, which I’ve had many times at other locations and it was nice. Their crab fried rice was on point, as usual.

Overall, we all enjoyed the visit and would recommend stopping in.“

“This is one of my very favorite places to eat. Not only is the food amazing (I love the crab cakes and tune tartare) but the views cannot be beat! The service is always amazing as well. This is a go to spot whenever I have people visiting from out of town. Plus the water taxi to the other restaurants is such a bonus!“

“The lobster roll at Little Whale is easily one of the best in the city. It has heaps of lobster but it’s cut up small so it’s easy to eat. Lobster aside, the French fries here are absolutely amazing. They taste like McDonald’s used to in the 80s. If you come at off hours walk ins are easy but if you are coming at prime time make a reservation.“

“I had dinner here solo while I was traveling. The service was great and the dining room was comfortable with a quiet atmosphere suitable for dinner conversation. The food was just OK. I had the panko crusted halibut with risotto and asparagus. The risotto was great and the fish was cooked properly but the panko breading was almost burned on one side and underdone on the other. It didn't reflect a skilled kitchen staff, and wasn't up to par for the plate price at this restaurant. I didn't ask the server to correct anything because I was tired and didn't want to raise a fuss.
I would try The Federal again because I think this might be an anomaly and their other food was properly prepared and delicious. Their wine list is also reasonable.“

“This was our first time here , ( we have been to other places like this ) but I have to say this location in Cambridge mass , not only was it super clean , the staff was amazing but to top it off Raul the General Manager was so kind , welcoming and we chatted for a while ! My Husband and I are both managers at restaurants so we have pretty high standards over all and this place was amazing ! We will be back soon! We don’t get many days off together so this truly made our night !

“I went there after hearing that it was the most famous lobster roll and clam chowder place in Quincy Market in Boston.

The portion was generous and the bread was delicious. It was my first time trying this dish, but it was delicious, perhaps because of the lobster in it.

I think it came to about $80 for 2 lobster rolls, clam chowda, and a coke. It was delicious, but the price was outrageous.

Still, I recommend anyone coming to Boston to try it once.“
