“Matsunori is a comfort spot I keep going back to. Boston is definitely lacking in terms of handroll places, so the opening of this spot was a win, for sure. The fish quality is pretty good and each handroll is crafted with care (in terms of ingredients pairing). I personally really love the OG miso cod, Eel with foie gras, Mango salmon, and Spicy tuna. All the ingredients mesh perfectly together without overpowering the ⭐ of the show (the fish).

While they don’t offer reservations and are usually super busy (weekdays&weekends), today we got there around 7pm (on a weekday) and there was no wait, which was nice. Our server, Duc, was so attentive and helpful. Rolls came out super quick, as always. Definitely recommend checking this place out!!“

“Kyle was so lovely!!! We came in for our friends birthday just for a drink and some oysters and he overheard us talking and brought us free dressed oysters!!! And he took into account that our friend was pescatarian so he removed the bacon on them. So attentive we never even asked. The swordfish pastrami was so so so good and very shareable. The oysters were fresh and the oceanic was able to be made for 3!“

“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. “It is not my practice to be critical and write a negative review, but I was enjoying my evening until we were asked to vacate our table after being there for only an hour and 40 minutes. My reservation was at 6 PM and at 7:38 we were told that we need to leave the restaurant. This definitely has left me with a very bad experience. I recall a time during Covid when there was a limit on a reservation, and that was quite acceptable but on a Wednesday night in October 2026 I was quite shocked when we were told it was time for us to leave, especially when I noticed some empty tables around us. Very disappointed“

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“Took my wife for her birthday, along with our daughter. Having been to Peru before and really enjoyed the flavors, we were excited to try this out. And the food certainly didn't disappoint. All of the dishes were very flavorful, including both the mango shrimp ceviche AND the vegetarian ceviche (which was something we didn't get in Peru!). The Causa reminded us of our time in Peru, and both the Peruvian Chinese eggplant and the cilantro lamb stew were very good. The former was a bit milder than we expected, but still delicious, while the latter was superbly seasoned with lamb that melts in your mouth. On the drinks side, we had a passionfruit sour, and the Chica sour and both were delicious. The dessert was their fruit mousse which was also excellent. We were seated outside as it was a nice summer's day, so I can't vouch for the interior. The service was good, though it did seem that one of the waiters wasn't particularly thrilled (either about serving us, or in general). The one who took our orders though, was polite and detailed and pointed out the vegetarian options for my wife and daughter. Keep in mind that this is NOT an inexpensive place. The items range from $17 for an appetizer to the high 30's for the main courses. But for someone craving for something different or just very flavorful food in general, this would be a great choice. I can see why this shows up on many of the lists for best new spots in the city. Highly recommended!“

“This is one of the most authentic Chinese menu's I've ever seen. If you like intestines and other dishes, this is the place to visit. I'm not into trying those types of dishes but they are available for those that are. They do have many more interesting and tasty dishes to experience as well so please give the place a try.
It does have an interesting way to order that I've not experienced before. The table has a QR Code at the end and each person scans it to see the menu on their phone, which is more and more common nowadays. However, each person at the table get linked to the same portal and when someone at the table selects/adds a dish, it updates each person's view on their phone so the entire party knows what has been ordered. When everyone is done you simply submit the order and your food shows up when it's ready. The food was good and the staff was busy but friendly.“

“Possibly the best chowder/seafood spot in Boston. I’ve been going here since I was a kid when my dad would take me to Celtics games. We’d always get chowder and oysters before. The food has not changed and is always as flavorful as ever. When I’m at school I come here at least once a week cause it’s my favorite spot. I also have spent half my life in Maine so I know a thing or two about seafood. Come to this place!“

“A treasure of a place! Amazing oysters and outstanding service. A nice variety of oysters with fresh cocktail sauce, vinegar, and mignonette (minced shallots, cracked black pepper, and vinegar). Staff filled their small water glasses immediately. Replaced fork in between courses. 20% tip included which they did warn when the bill came. We were generally impressed.
The con - salmon tartare was overly lime-ed we couldn’t taste anything else so this is a hard pass. NE clam chowder – rich cream sauce while not thick but not a favorite. Fish and chips were ok. We had reservations but were seated downstairs, next to a college trio with a particularly loud member.
We’ll definitely come back, once we’re done sampling all that Boston has to offer, but only for the oysters – pricey but tasty.“

“We decided to give Boqueria Seaport a try after dining at Boqueria Atlanta, and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The garlic shrimp and seafood paella were fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the drinks were just as tasty. We’ll definitely be back next week to try more of the tapas!“

“Our group of 6 had a fun time celebrating a special occasion at Capital Grille while also enjoying The Generous Pour! The restaurant was very nice. Spacious, sophisticated, and an upscale atmosphere.

A special thank you goes to our server, Bruno, who was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcome right from the start and attended to our table frequently throughout the evening to make sure we were having a great time. The food was sooo good. We started with a variety of appetizers, including the calamari and oysters, which were delicious. For my main course, I had the steak au poivre medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

For sides, we shared the asparagus, truffle fries, and the lobster mac and cheese which was the best mac and cheese any of us have ever had! And I don’t even like lobster!
