The Experience:
This is a no-frills seafood market/fish fry spot with a mini market vibe. Alongside freshly prepared seafood meals, they offer a small selection of Vietnamese pantry items: things like sauces, spices, and rice. You place your food order at the register toward the back left, where there’s a menu posted. Service was fast and friendly; I was quoted just 15 minutes for my order. They accept credit cards (always a plus), and there are a couple of chairs if you want to wait inside.

The staff was friendly and efficient, and I appreciated that they skipped the tipping screen, especially refreshing given how tipping expectations have spiraled lately. The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality.

The Food:
I ordered the fish and chips and had a choice between haddock and catfish, I went with the haddock. I also grabbed some egg rolls on the side. A nice touch: they include a bottled water with the meal.
• Fish: Generous portion, well-seasoned, and tasted very fresh. Definitely a standout. (5/5)
• Fries: Crispy, plentiful, and satisfying. Nothing fancy, just solid. (4/5)
• Coleslaw: A bit too creamy for my taste, but it had a nice tang. The only real letdown was the portion—it felt more like a garnish than a side. (3/5)
• Egg Rolls: Came with sweet and sour sauce. These were average, nothing special. (2.5/5)

“Such a cute spot! Walking distance from us in Quincy center. Free validated parking in the Atrius health garage (see dottys website for exact info). I had a hard time deciding on which cocktail to get so I asked our waitress (I think her name was Kayla? So sorry!) for a recommendation and it hit the spot! We got tinned fish, delicious albeit a bit overpriced, bacon wrapped stuffed dates- get these if you like blue cheese because it was strong and split the cod curry which was so yummy!“

She is Professional, Personable, always smiling and making us feel as comfortable as talking to a friend! “After living in Rockland for almost 10 years about a month ago I finally went into Dina’s. I ordered a steak and cheese at the counter and was told give me five minutes it’ll be ready! Now I thought to myself five minutes really so then I said, all time you do you think you can do it in five minutes, and the young lady behind the counter smiled, looked at me and said I own the place. I’ll have it in five minutes. Four minutes later, I had this perfectly cooked perfectly engineered steak and cheese. Now I’m a sucker for a slice of pizza as well so I grabbed one ehhh it’s just slice. Anything is better than Ellio’s. I grabbed my dinner and I left. I have my slice on the way home and it was amazing across between Greek style pizza and South Shore bar pie. Absolutely outstanding steak and cheese with top notch and since then I’ve been several times on my way home from work for some reason the slices get better and better each time but on a whim I tried the turkey gobbler one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time!“
